Some of you know me from FF.net and here... but I don't believe I've ever made a formal introduction. So...

* coughs and taps mic *

In the words of Austin Powers: Allow myself to introduce... myself.

Lame, and yet I couldn't find anything better to say. :D Geeze, I believe I just lost about half my readers with that one...

As for the name...

The name comes not from the anime, but from Greek mythology. Nausica? was a Phaeacian princess who had helped Odysseus on his long journey home...

As for my writing...

I've been writing since I picked up a pencil, but I never got into story-writing until I read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series in 2000 and saw Gundam Wing a year later.

How are they related? Well, for me, Gabaldon has such a voice in storytelling that her work gave me the push to try my hand at it. I wrote little things, never really having a focus until GW aired.

And the obsession has been with me since. Near to two years since then - June 6, to be precise. And I don't think it'll ever really leave me.

This is getting pretty long, so I'll make my goodbyes with this:

Have fun reading my work, sweets. 'Cause it's all for you and the love of Gundam Wing.

Well, I think you already know I adore you and your writing whether it be 1xR or 3xR. Of course, we all know which one is better. *smirks*

Anyway, I'll welcome you like I do the others in all its generic-ness.

Naus!

i do believe i've seen you around in FF a long time ago. but then i disappeared for a year and can't remember anything anymore.

hmmm...for me, writing started when i was very little. i loved reading to death and couldn't get enough hands on books. then i started hearing this voice in my head, (haha. sounds psychotic) but you know what i mean. that voice that spins stories inside my head and bullies me into writing it down on paper. yeah, that voice.

then one night, my brother insisted that i watch this show called Gundam Wing. my first thought was, "what the hell?" then i saw an episode with Heero and Relena and was instantly pulled by the spark between the two. so i became obsessed with GW and started writing fanfics. there. that's my story.

haha. and you thought your intro was long. anyway, i'm so very glad to meet you Naus and hope to read more of your amazing fics. here's to more GW fanfics and to more inspirations for writing! *raises a glass of wine or whatever you prefer to drink* :D

:o <-- Naus cheesed. Thanx. I didn't know that there was an actual anime with the same name until I saw it about a year and ago, and by then I had already been writing for about a year. Both Nauses are cool - they're both heroines in their respective stories.

I had actually been thinking about changing my penname to something else like kalos - which I believe is a Greek word that roughly translates as "beauty." Still not sure yet, but I was thinking, "Hey, everybody already knows you as Naus or the author with funny name that has 2 dots above the 'a,' why switch?" Ah, yes, very important decisions... :razz:
