Tell her sonfic

Hiya!

I just got an idea for a songfic, here in Holland we just had a porgram called Idols, it's almost simular to Starmaker. The song is from the 2nd runner up. I hope you enjoy this fic, ow yeah, it takes place 5 years after the Mariemea incident.
Please review!

5 years since she's seem him.
A sign passes her lips at the thought of him. Those eyes, she could drown in those eyes and stay there for ever. She could give him anything he wanted, as long as he just stayed with her.
How she loved him.
She stands by her window watching how the whole world seems to turn orange when the sun sets. *It all looks so peaceful, and I'm the cause of that. No, I'm partely the cause of that. The Gundam pilots, my closest friends, were also a big piece of the puzzle that made peace possible.*

How they all grew in those years, every one of them actually started a life, although she wouldn't know about Heero, she knew he was alive that's all. He broke of contact with her and the boys. At this thought another sign passes her lips. *Why couldn't he stay? Why couldn't he love me?* The thought made her depressed even more.
She turns to her desk and looks the pictures they have taken the past few years. The first picture was Duo and Hilde, they got married 3 years ago, they were the first, but that was to be expacted. Duo was always the most open minded about his feelings. The next picture shows Wufei and Sally, they married 2 and a half years ago. They really suprised all of us to be the second one to marry, it seemed that Sally had quite a control over Wufei. *Ha, surves him right!*
Next was Trowa with Catherine and her husband Timith, Trowa never believed in marriage. "It's just another way to get hurt" and that's a quote.
And the sweet Quatra, married Dorethy 2 years ago.
*Who would have thought those 2 would get married after that stabbing 'incident'.*

She opens the windows so she can step outside and smell the garden. Her balcony is on the 3rd floor but still you could smell the roses. Inhaling deed, the sweet scent of roses and daisies filled her with a good feeling. But that feeling dissapeared when she exhaled. Her thoughts once again wondered towards her friends.
Trowa, Wufei, Sally and Hilde work at the Preventers. Quatra and Dorethy are on the colonies running the Winner Corperation[an; I know I'm not spelling that right]. Catherine and Timith still work at the circus and Duo, he's a rockstar!
*Who would have thought that loud-mouth could actually sing! And what a voice he has indeed.*
"O! SHIT!" She yelled when she remebered something. She looked at her watch. "O God! I'm late! Duo's show is starting in 1 hour! I have to be there I'm his inspiration for the new song!"
She rushed into her room to get changed, she didn't even notice the Pursian Blue eyes that kept a careful watch on her. The figure in the tree jumped down. *I'd better go to that show as well, what's Duo up to now?*

An 50 minutes later

The skills she learned as the VFM helped out a lot. In record time she did her hair, clothes, make-up and the 30 minutes drive. She even had 10 minutes to spare.
She was lead to the exclusive place where she and her friends always sat at a concert. When she got there everybody whas already present. Well, except for a surtain man who stole her heart an ran, but you guessed that already.
Relena smiled at her friends, they all smiled back. Well not all, she got a nod from Wufei and Trowa. Hilde jumped up from her seat and jumped into a hug. Witch of course made Relena lose her balance and fall.
"How come your late?" Hilde's voice was a bit more euhm, 'edgy' that usual.
"I lost time, sorry"
"It's ok! At least you're here! I couldn't do this without my best friend!"
"Hey!" came from Dorethy.
"I mean my 2 best friends!"
2 more "hey"s followed that statement.
"hn, I couldn't do this without all my best friends" was her last and final statement. Nobody could argue with that!
"Hilde, you went to all Duo's concerts, why are you still so nerveus about them?" Relena asked a bit annoyed.
"Hey, he's my husband...what if he loses his voice, or, or forgets the lines! There is a lot of things that could go wrong!"
Relena signs again. *Talk about over-worried, really nothing ever went wrong with Duo and singing, those 2 are a perfect match. Just like me and..No! I'm not going to think of him. Not. Going. To. Think. Of. Him.......Yeah like that helps*
Suddenly the lights go out and Duo comes on stage. Hundreds of girls start to scream at the sight of the braided man. *He loves that attention*

The first song was a fast one as always. *God, I heard that song about a thousand times now. Why do I keep being draged into these concerts?*
Duo continued with another song, a hard rock song. At the sound of the first cord everybody except Hilde, who was sitting litteraly on the last inch of her seat, slid a few inches down, some even covering their temples with their hand. *I can understand that. this songs starts to give me a headache as well*

Just a few feet away from Relena, hidden in the shadows stands Heero. He stares at her. *God. She's beautiful*
*If she only knew....But she'll never know. I'm not worthy. She's the Dove of Peace and I'm a soldier. A soldier with more blood on his hands than anyone else. How could she ever love me?* [a/n; Guys will be guys, completely ignorant of what woman feel.Well, most of them, Heero would definately count as one with no experience with girls what so ever!]
His eyes darted to the stage were Duo was jumping up and down and singing. *That baka, he's making a fool of himself*

The song ended and a loud thumb made Heero snap out of his dreams. A 'smile' started to form on his face(if you say a twitch on the corner of his lips is a smile) *Seems like Hilde was a bit to anctious* He was cut off by Relena's laughter witch made him tickle inside. *I would love to make her laugh like that once*

A half hour later

"Ok everybody!" Duo said to get their attention. "I made a new song. It's about 2 people that I know very well, namely Lena and Heero." Relena's head snapped up. *What the Hell is he doing?* But curious as she was she followed Hilde's exaple and sat on the last few inches of her seat.
"And I'm singing this to Heero!"

Heero looked at Duo, his eye was twitching. *O. My. God.*

Then the music started, it was a slow song. And Heero had a bad, no TERRIBLE feeling about this.

"I hoped you heard this buddy!" were Duo's last words as he went backstage for a break.

*I cannot believe this* Relena's mouth was still haning on the floor. Suddenly Hilde tapped on her shoulder when she noticed Relena was still in shock.
"Hey, you ok?" Relena just nodded and closed her mouth.

If you say Heero was suprised, that would be an understatement. He was completely blown away. *How the hell did he know?!* Heero definately was NOT prepared for this.
As the song sank in, he started to repeat the lyrics in his head. *Broken hearted? Does that mean that...* His eyes suddenly grew a bit wider when he realised that Duo was telling him Relena loves him. His eyes darted to the girl of his dreams and saw she was still in shock. He shrugged at the site he saw. Mouth open, eyes wide, holding her breath and not moving an inch, quite funny.
*Maybe I should tell her. But what woul happen? Would she break my heart? The one she saved 7 years ago?* He saw Relena relax when Hilde said something to her. He wanted to be the one who snapped her out of that state of shock. *What do I want?* after a few minutes of thinking, Duo started again. And Heero made up his mind. He would tell her.
*Tonight*

Relena finally got home, her ass hurt from sitting on plastic chairs for 2 hours. *Man Duo can sing a lot of songs in one night. I wonder if they have pills to let somebody lose his voice?* an evil smile came on her face. She shrugged once and then fall backwards on her bed. She tugged her hands under her head and kicked off her shoes. *What was Duo thinking singing that song ON NATIONAL TV! The change that Heero heard that was quite big. That concert was show on almost all the channels. Earth and Colony!* She stood up and opened her window to smell the gardens so she could relax a bit. But when she stepped out she was met with Pursian blue eyes. "Ow shit" was all she could say.

"Now that's a way to great a friend"
"Heero Yuy, do I hear sarcasm in your voice?"
"hn"
"Guess not."
"Don't you wanna hear where I was those 5 years?"
"If you don't wanna tell me I won't ask"
He looked into those blue eyes, he saw suprise, and sadness *Maybe I shouldn't tell her?*
"I'm just glad your here, I thought I would never see you again" *Did I just say that?!*
"I'm glad I'm here too"
"Why?" she asked in a wisper as if she was afraid to hear the answer like 'there was another death thread' or another 'Omae o Korosu' or something in that direction.
"I heard Duo's song" Relena stiffened. *O god! Remind me to kill Duo when I see him!*
"Yeah I heard it too" Heero was actually kinda amused as how Relena was reacting to him. He gave a half smile, which went unnoticed by her.
"I know" again Relena stiffened. *How did he know?*
Her eyes asked the question she had in her mind. "I was there" Her eyes got a bit wider just for a second or 2.
"Are you angry with me?" That was a question he wanted to ask as soon as he entered her room.
*angry with him? How could I ever be angry with him? I love him to much, he could never make me angry* But instead of saying anything she just shook no.
"What are you doing here Heero?" Finally the question got out.
"I'm here to tell you" Relena thought about it for a moment until she realised what he was saying. But she wanted to hear it from him.
"Tell me what Heero?" she asked, trying not to sound excited. But not succeding totally.
He didn't notice at all. *She doesn't know what I'm talking about?* "Relena, I...euhm....I...uh....kinda...." Silence fell once again. *why can't I just say it?!*
"You what Heero?"
"I love you" it came more as a wisper, but she heard it.
She couldn't believe what she heard.*I must be imagening it or I'm dreaming* "What did you say?"
"I love you" he repeated.
He just gave her his heart, now it was to her to crush it or make it bloom.

"I love you too Heero" His heart jumped few beats so he could let the words sink in.
Before she knew it he picked her up and twirled her around. Heero actually smiled and Relena laughed. *So my wish came true, I can make her laugh like that*
When he put her back down she jumped into a hug. She placed her hand around his neck and her head on his shoulder. He put his arms around her waist and hold her like their was no tomorrow.
"Heero?"
"Hn"
"Will you stay?" She hesitated to ask but did it anyway. She needed to know where she stood. She couldn't have him break her heart again.
"Always"
"Promise?"
"I promise" With that Relena looked up into his eyes as their lips met in a passionate first kiss.
