A/N- um…this is written in a slightly different way than usual, I think…enjoy!
~~~~~~~~Heero’s Apartment ~~~~~~~~
Heero was sitting on the sofa in front of the TV in the apartment he shared with his best friend Duo. He’d been flicking through the channels vainly trying to find something that might interest him, a military movie perhaps. He enjoyed working out tactics hat they could use and criticising their own. However, today there obviously weren’t going to be any.
Suddenly the front door sung open and Duo came bounding into the room only to fling himself onto the sofa.
“Hey buddy! You’ll never guess what I’ve just found out!”
“I don’t think I want to know.” Heero muttered through gritted teeth. He hated the way Duo always had to make a noisy entrance.
“But it concerns someone that goes by the name of Relena!” Duo replied in a wheedle some tone.
If Heero’s attentiveness to the conversation had been less than 0% earlier on, say –99%, we’d have to say that it had increased to 100% now.
“What was it you were saying?”
“I knew that would get ya. Well anyway, Zechs has finally decided to allow his sister to date….”
Heero’s eyes widened to the size of a saucer.
“…only, he gets to choose who it’s gonna be.”
~~~~~~~~Earlier that day~~~~~~~~
“But Milli why can’t I go out with someone. I’m 21 years old! How much longer must I wait?!”
“For the rest of your life.” Zechs mumbled.
Relena sat heavily on the sofa, refusing to look at Zechs for a few minutes. Slowly, a smile crept onto her face.
“Relena/ Relena, what are you thinking…… Oh no! That will not work this time.”
There on the couch was a cute little Relena clutching onto the sofa-head with large, blue, watery puppy-dog eyes.
“Please Zechs, you know how much this means to me.”
“Fine!” He snapped. He hated it when she beat his that way. “I’ll let you date, but I get to choose who dates you.”
“Huh! No fair!”
“Yes it is.”
“No it isn’t.”
“Yes.”
“No”
……….
~~~~~~~~Back to present ~~~~~~~~
“So Heero, are you gonna try?”
“Yeah might as well go now, I’ve got nothing else to do.”
“Well you’ll have to go round her place and pick up an application form.”
Heero sweat-dropped. “A what?!”
“Just go, or you’ll be late.”
~~~~~~~~Relena’s Place ~~~~~~~~
Heero stopped the car and stepped outside. There was a slight breeze that ruffled his hair; it was a hot day so the breeze didn’t make much of a difference. He looked kind of like one of those ‘Days Of Our Lives’ and ‘Sunset Beach’ young male characters, for a moment there.
Sensing a presence he turned around to see Relena standing behind him. She stood there smiling up at him for a while, she spoke. “Hi Heero, you must be here for an application form; or my brother wouldn’t let you on the premises.2
“Um yeah.” Although it didn’t show, inside Heero was drooling all over.
Unexpectedly, Heero did the weirdest of weirdest things, the most out of character thing he could ever do.
“Don’t worry Relena. I’ll save you from that- that monster. I’ll cross any ocean no matter how deep and climb the highest mountain just to be with…”
“Uh Hrmph, hrmphhh hrmphh.”
“He’s right behind me isn’t he?”
Relena meekly nodded, “I’ll go to my room now.”
Zechs glanced down at the younger man, and smiled wickedly. Brandishing a sheet of paper out of nowhere, he handed it to Heero and walked off in Relena’s direction saying, “Fill that in. I sincerely hope that you don’t find any difficulties in doing so.” Laughing hard, he walked away.
Meanwhile, Heero looked down at the piece of paper, it read:

Heero growled and stormed away.

From a high window in the Peacecraft Mansion, Zechs watched as the black Mercedes rolled away. Rubbing his hands cunningly together he grinned evilly, “That’ll be the last of him……”
“ZECHSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!”
“Uh oh!”
