Which categories your fic is competing in: comedy!!!!!, alternate universe, multipart too, but comedy first and foremost! (though I thought about lemon? but I?m too chicken to do it)
Any Warnings: some raunchy comedy

Boo hoo. The End, it?s right here and I?m glad I?m done but at the same time I?m terrifically unsure of how it went. You see, I don?t edit or re-read anything I write so I never know how it looks to others. Hooray for the contest, that finally spurred me to write some comedy (as well as my first 1xR fic ever). Now I need to go work on the other 1xR fic I have been obsessed with planning out. Fun!

Part 6

Heero and Treize circled one another silently. Despite no experience with a sword, he had managed to block many of Treize?s attacks, which greatly impressed Relena. On her behalf, she was feeling both nervous and a little shamed. Her attempt to distract Treize had worked, but he proved to be as skillful with his left hand as his right and hence unless he keeled over from blood loss, Heero was still in trouble. What was worse is that Relena knew it was her fault that this was going on, and she couldn?t abide the thought of violence being done to prove that one male had more right to court her than another. She would decide that, not them, and it was fruitless for them to fight on those grounds. Clutching and unclenching her hands around a bundle of robe, she gauged her internal strength. What she was thinking of doing could very possibly kill her, but the thought of being forever chased after by Treize once he killed Heero made a good case for her own death at any rate. As she looked out and saw Heero finally fall as Treize managed to sweep his arm and make him drop his sword, Relena knew she was making the right decision.

Having only just finished laughing, Trowa was not being as observant of his surroundings as he usually was. Specifically, he was not being observant of Relena and he noticed her too late preparing to cast. Everyone else was still paying attention to the battle, with only Wu Fei casting his eyes in her direction and questioning look in his eyes. With a certain fatalistic sigh, Trowa saw that there was no way he could interfere now because she was too far along in the spell. Anything he could do would only endanger both of them and possibly everyone around them. Her hair whipped around her wildly, and the tip of her wand glowed as she repeated a phrase under her breath again and again: ?Finite incantatem cambiare vivus forma?

A counterspell was always much more difficult to perform than the original spell. To change something was easy. To change something back was terribly difficult. Somewhat like untangling a knot, she had to trace backwards what she had so instinctively done forwards. Few magicusers ever learned counterspells except as preventative measures when others were casting harmful things. Interrupting a spell, in that case, was an easy thing. Relena felt the sweat break out all over her body as the forces inside her were all drawn to the point on her wand. Every cell in her body strained to provide enough energy as her brain screamed in pain to concentrate and channel the energy. If this didn?t kill her it would be close enough that it probably didn?t matter. Death didn?t scare her, and as she sneaked a glance at Heero she realized it didn?t scare him either. He fell and Treize drew back to strike once more. He never got the chance.

The jet of energy that left Relena?s wand and struck Heero caused a blaze of white light that momentarily blinded everyone except for Heero, who was changing and didn?t see it, and Relena, who had collapsed on the ground as soon as she let the spell go. After a couple blinks, it was over. Heero was a large dragon, bleeding from many gashes but otherwise intact. More specifically, his tail and wings were quite intact and as smoke billowed a bit from his mouth, the corner of his lips bent into a reptilian smirk. Now things would be different. Treize?s eyes widened a bit, but he was not intimidated. This simply changed the nature of the beast, literally. His rapier sank deep into Heero?s thigh, and Heero made no noise as he pulled it out again. It was just an annoying pinprick, and now he would take care of a different annoying prick.

The dragons looked much more smug as Heero slashed and beat Treize with his tail and claws. It would all be over soon, Heero triumphant, and then they could all go back to their homes and plot another way to get what they wanted since the Enchantress plan had fallen through. Then all of a sudden, Heero stopped. Treize was there, nobly standing and accepting the deathblow he expected, as his foe had proved far stronger than he had figured on. Then again, one never expects a boy to become a dragon in the middle of something like that. But no strike came for, in the midst of his bloodlust, Heero happened to look over to see Trowa and Duo trying to wake up Relena. She looked terribly pale and was not moving. Treize was easily knocked out with a thump of his tail, and he rushed over to where Relena lay. Nothing had ever alarmed him more than that moment when he saw she wasn?t breathing, there were no signs of life in her.

Surprisingly, for everyone really, Duo was the one to take action. Rolling up his sleeves, he bent down and began to perform CPR on Relena. Heero wanted to scream and hit this upstart to dared touch his lips to the girl he had claimed for his own, but there was little he could do. If this would bring her to life again, then he could allow it. All at once it struck him that his dragon form was just as weak as his human one had been because he couldn?t save her life like this. When she gasped and coughed, after a few tense moments, Heero felt like his heart only just started beating again in his chest. He let out a great breath in relief and smoke filled the area, making the three humans cough and sputter. Oh yeah, Heero had forgotten about a few things.

Wu Fei came to stand beside Heero, having dismissed the rest of the council. Only Quatre remained now. With a simple gesture, he gave Heero the sign of respect for having won the fight, as was expected of him by custom. This was the permission Wu Fei gave to Heero to not being forced to kill Treize. He felt it would be wiser not to, in case it incurred the wrath of Relena (or more importantly Trowa). It had been a tense enough moment when everyone had watched to see if she would live or die.

?Do as you must.? Wu Fei?s words echoed in Heero?s mind. He hadn?t needed the advice, but this was an official grant of leave to do as he liked in regards to the situation. From now on, Heero?s dealings with Relena would not be the responsibility of the High Council to supervise or interfere with. Wu Fei took off. Turning back to Relena, he saw her asleep but at least breathing and that eased his nervousness.

?Are you too injured to fly?? Quatre asked Heero.

?My wings are fine.? Heero answered shortly. Looking at the humans, as Trowa gave a steady glance back, Quatre seemed to understand his thought process.

?I will take the one you fought. He will be out for some time yet. I can also take you, if you would like.? Quatre addressed this to Trowa. ?Heero could then take the other man and the Enchantress.? For a moment Trowa considered this, then nodded. Collecting Treize?s discarded jacket, he made sure to tell Duo what was going on and then left in a flurry of wings on Quatre?s back in the direction of Relena?s palace.

?Get on.? Was all Heero said to Duo, who held the princess like she were a delicate flower about to be crushed. They paused, neither one moving, until finally Duo moved towards Heero. It took some work to get the limp and unconscious form of Relena onto Heero?s back, and Heero automatically thought of how only perhaps an hour or so earlier he had been where Duo was now only on Quatre?s back. The thought did not cause his hormones to stir as they used to while he was human, but something deep inside him still fluttered a bit at the thought. Maybe he was having heart problems. Oh well. The flight back went smoothly enough.

*

?Ow.?

?Oh it can?t hurt that much.?

?Ow.?

?Stop being a stupid sissy!?

?Ow!? Relena gasped as the corset bit into her. Hilde pulled too hard, and it seemed as if her world had all the oxygen sucked out from it. Looking in the mirror, she did admire how the corset gave her such an exaggerated hourglass figure. Though why fashion dictated such horrible pain, she wasn?t so sure. The dress that Hilde helped her into needed her to be in a corset though, and it was a quite pretty dress too. It needed to be, as it was her wedding day after all. The thought of that brought her little happiness.

Once everyone had arrived at the palace on that day about two months ago, everything had been in chaos. Two dragons, Treize still unconscious, Relena barely living. It had taken many quick explanations by Trowa and Milliardo?s excellent leadership skills to calm everyone down and get all the various wounds tended to that Treize, Heero, and even Relena had incurred (she bruised her hip and gashed her forehead when she fell). It had taken a lot of persuasion to get the healers to tend to Heero, but he had only struck one for touching a rather sore spot on his side, and after that they left him alone with various creams to ease the pain and he did it himself. Treize had been fine when he came to, but he acted different. Duo liked to joke that he had some sense knocked into him, for now he insisted on being called Baron Kushrenada and he no longer acted like an ass, (though for some reason at the start he also seemed to think he was sixteen years old and a girl, and it took a lot to convince him otherwise). Before he left, at least a dozen people came to thank Heero for that small mercy he bestowed on them.

Quatre had accepted some nice pieces of livestock as well as a promise that he could have as much food as he needed, in thanks for his service to Her Majesty. Heero was offered the same, but ignored Milliardo completely. Not being one to turn down such a nice offer, Quatre thanked them and offered to act as an emissary to the High Council and try to start to mediate so that future incidents such as the abduction could be avoided in the future. It seemed like a favorable situation, and Milliardo agreed to it as Relena was indisposed still. Even though Quatre left shortly after that, Heero stayed until Relena could come out and assure him that she was fine. The dragon, who had been silent until she appeared, though it had taken a couple days for her to wake, now spoke when she approached.

?Thanks.? Relena knew she was being thanked for returning him to his natural form. With a mix of satisfaction and sadness at what she had accomplished, she hugged one of his claws. He withdrew from her quickly, as if she were the one who could breathe fire.

?You?re welcome.? Her words seemed to release him, and he took off without any more conversation. Hilde, her friend and lady in waiting, helped her back to her bed. It had taken a great amount of will to not look back at Heero?s retreating form, but she managed it.

Now not a single day, (and sometimes hour) had gone by without her thinking about Heero. It pained her to think of how it was really unfair that they had come from such different worlds. If she could perform magic on herself, she would turn herself into a dragon, but that was simply impractical and selfish of her to wish for that. She was needed to keep the peace. Her commitment to her job is what was leading her to marry Duke Barton today. The day after Heero left she had agreed to the wedding, and she tried very hard to push down her second thoughts. They would be an effective governing force, and that?s what was important.

Even though she wasn?t attracted to Trowa.

Even though he treated her like a porcelain statue of his ideals rather than a woman.

Even if what she really wanted was Heero.

Strike that last thought. She didn?t even think it. It was a lie. It was. . . . a dream she had to let go before it consumed her. With a smile and a wave, Relena dismissed Hilde and as soon as Hilde left the room she heard a giggle and knew that Duo had indeed been waiting outside the door, just as she had suspected. It would be nice to be in love. Her hand brushed the spot where Heero had bitten her neck, and ran across the faint scar he had left. Even though it would be easy to erase the scar, she found herself not wanting to. As she got up enough nerve, she put down the veil and came out to be greeted by Hilde, her waist encircled by Duo casually, and Milliardo standing to the side. As their parents had died a while back, it was Milliardo who was going to give her away.

?You look beautiful.? Milliardo?s words perked her up a little bit, but she was glad the veil hid how dead her eyes looked.

?Thank you.? She gave her brother a little hug.

Everyone had taken their seats and the music was playing in the newly reconstructed great hall. The organ hadn?t been that damaged in the first place, but one pipe must have been particularly hard to hammer out because one of the notes was a little off. Relena smiled to herself reflectively that the slight disharmony was a lot like how she felt right now, and it was very appropriate. Trowa looked handsome in his suit, but he did not look nervous or excited. He too regarded this as a continuation of his duty. As Relena passed where he mother and father would have sat, she regarded the benignly smiling Noin, her sister in law and somewhat of a mother figure to Milliardo?s father figure, and next to her a loudly weeping Hilde being held and shushed by an almost crying Duo. She loved her dear friends and family. Standing at the alter, Trowa gave a slight bow to her and she curtsied. Damn, the heels hurt too, even just walking down the hall. Where were soft slippers when you needed them? The flowers gave off a pungent odor and were already getting heavy. This whole wedding thing was such a pain.

?Dearly beloved. . .? the little priest began as he myopically focused in on the little book before him. Then there was a great crash as glass rained down on the host of people from the ceiling as wind swept in as well. Relena, instead of screaming and running as other people seemed to be doing, looked up with happy anticipation on her face. The dragon landed in the aisle quite gracefully, considering her had to do it sideways to avoid trampling people in pews. Most everyone lined the walls in terror as some flowers in front of the dragon incinerated as he sighed and flame burst forth.

?I didn?t get an invitation. Even Quatre and Wu Fei got invitations.? Heero said.

?I didn?t think you?d want to come.? Relena answered. Heero arched his eyeridge and shrugged. She pulled off her veil and walked towards him. ?And I figured you?d come or you wouldn?t. The invitation was irrelevant.?

?You didn?t come back to me.? Heero looked at her searchingly as Relena got a confused expression on her face. ?You swore ?by everything you held dear? that you would. You broke your promise, and now you must pay the price.?

The realization hit her all of a sudden and Relena laughed aloud. ?I suppose you have me there. Are you going to eat me then??

?I don?t believe so.? Looking around, the presence of all the curious bystanders, as well as Trowa who looked like he was going to take violent action soon made him hesitate. Relena saw and motioned for Trowa to stay back.

?It?s ok. I choose this.? Trowa gave a wan smile and nodded. He understood and would comply with her decision. She was in charge after all, and he would trust he decisions. Heero carefully circled her waist with his claw and took off into the air, hitting more glass with his wing on the way up and raining down more on the stunned audience below.

Shaking with anger, Milliardo almost burst where he stood. ?What just happened!?

Duo made a face at the fuming man. ?Twew Wuv.? He laughed as Hilde hit him in the ribs none to lightly.

When they landed in Quatre?s cave, Relena looked at Heero with some surprise. Had Quatre been in on this too? No wonder he declined to attend. There would have been no way he could have kept a straight face through that episode. Her feet burned a bit as they touched down on rock, but her shoes had mercifully fallen off on the way here so that was a plus. Disregarding the soot everywhere, she sat down in her white dress on a smooth looking rock. How like Heero, to remember the promise she made and turn it against her. Not that she was mad. Quite the contrary really.

?Well?? Heero said.

?What?? Relena was confused.

?Are you going to turn me back into a human or not?? He looked cranky at having to ask.

?I need my wan. . .? Heero produced what looked quite a bit like her wand from an alcove in the wall of the cave. ?How?? She asked as she had the wand very carefully handed to her by Heero?s claw.

?Treize.? Was all Heero said in answer. Relena started in shock. Then shaking her head she thought she should have figured, since Baron Kushrenada probably figured Heero deserved to win her as they had fought in single combat for that very honor.

?Very well, are you ready??

?More than last time.? With a smile, Relena stood and focused her energy.

?Cambiare vivus forma!? Heero transformed back into the man he had once been before. Quite naked as well, and Relena blushingly averted her eyes. When he tapped her shoulder, she refused to turn, but finally he forced her to turn around. Thankfully he was clothed; apparently he had put a fair amount of thought into this abduction. Pants and a shirt; he looked very normal. He put his hands at her waist and brought her in close.

?Why are you so stiff around the waist?? He said as he knocked a knuckle against her corset, hidden beneath the dress. Relena just smiled and practically jumped on him as his hand brushed her bare arm; kissing him with all the passion she had hidden deep in herself for so long. Then things started to go fuzzy.

______

Heero had had a hell of a time getting into Relena hotel room. Having made sure to secure the place himself, the only way he found he was able to enter was through the tiny bathroom ventilation shaft. Even so, it had been a terrible trip and he was glad he didn?t have to go back that way. What?s more, even he had made a fair amount of noise, and anyone who had gotten in or harmed her would surely have heard him. He would have to be on his guard.

Up until now he had been content to let Relena rest. With all the aids coming to him and attempting to convince him she had to be woken he had not felt an ounce of need to disturb her. From how she had acted when she had entered that room, he knew she had been a woman on the edge and even someone as dedicated as Relena needed time to recover.

But that had been over a day ago. She supposedly had been sleeping this whole time, but sleeping 20 hours was neither healthy nor natural and all Heero could figure was that something had happened despite his extra tight security measures. The only answer was to get in and find out. Taking his gun out of the cloth bag he had tied around his neck to carry anything unnecessary (since he had to strip down to his undershirt and boxers to crawl through the ventilation shaft), he cocked it and studied himself briefly in the mirror above the sink before kicking open the door and rolling behind a nearby chair for cover. Quickly he stood, though he did not let go of the gun. There was obviously no one here. The only one moving in the room was Relena, who tossed about on the bed with a frown on her face. He checked all around the room, not neglecting a single spot, and once he was sure of her safety, he went over to inspect Relena herself.

She was smiling blissfully and the covers were all thrown off of her, exposing a large expanse of creamy leg where her nightgown had ridden up. Her hair was slightly tangled and spread around her head like a strange halo of gold. Even now he found her terribly beautiful, and he reached out to wake her up before he did something he shouldn?t to her peacefully sleeping form. As soon as he touched her, her eyes flew open without really seeing him and her arms pulled him down on top of her. Her lips were demanding on his, and Heero?s eyes widened in alarm as he realized that she was somewhere in between awake and asleep and had also just managed to remove his shirt anyway. Soon she would wake and realize what she had just done. Not wanting to hurt her, and also wanting to continue, he found it difficult to extract himself from her embrace, especially because she had already thrown one of those legs around him that he had so admired a moment before.

Relena?s eyes fluttered open, and she felt as if they were unnaturally heavy. Instead of a cave, she saw nothing but ceiling with a fan slowly turning above. As she focused more, she realized something else was in her line of vision, as well as a strange pressure on her body. The pressure shifted, and she looked down only half expecting to see Heero, as her dream had been so vivid. Imagine her surprise when the weight on her turned out to be the real Heero after all. When she tensed, she only drove him further down onto her, thanks to the leg she had wrapped around him. Heero met her eyes; his usual neutral gaze hid most of something else burning inside of him, but not all of it. It seemed to Relena that this was a peculiar situation to wake up to. There could be several reasons for them to be like this, and many of them were terribly incriminating to Heero, but looking to the side she saw the gun still in his hand and tried to think of how this might be her fault as well. The thought process took only a few seconds, and Heero seemed to be waiting for her make a movement.

?I had a strange dream.? She said, as she looked into his ever so blue and unblinking eyes. Honestly she wanted to continue things now where the dream had left off. She had denied herself for too long.

?So I see.? Heero?s lips quirked, more like a spasm than a smile. She had no idea how much willpower it took not to simply take advantage of her right now. Training had taught him to deal with all kinds of situations, but he wasn?t sure how he was supposed to cope with this particular one.

?Did I, er, did I molest you? Or did you molest me?? It was only an incidental piece of information. She had already made her choice of what would happen next, but she did want to know this.

?Hn. You to me.? Heero looked to the side and began to push himself up off of her.

?I see.? Relena let him get a little ways up. ?Good.? She pulled him down with all the force her sleep-laden limbs had and kissed him, her lips pressed and bruising against his. Not one to be slow at reacting, Heero went through a thought process of his own. The twists and turns it took are not important and the concerns he entertained about his action were quickly swept away. In that moment the only things in existence were he and she, alone in a hotel room and not about to be interrupted. Parting her lips with his tongue, he probed at first hesitantly and then with increasing courage.

One of Relena?s hands snaked up and twisted into his hair, already messy, and continued to contort it about her fingers. Slightly rough and springy, she had always wanted to do something like that but there had never been the opportunity. Correction, she had never made the opportunity. Moving from his hair, her hands smoothed over the shifting contours of his back and experimentally she ran her nails quickly and lightly up and his whole body twitched in response.

?So you want to play?? Heero said, lust turning his eyes almost black in the dimly lit room. His calloused fingers moved over her swiftly hitting every spot she was ticklish at and some she shouldn?t by rights have been ticklish in. You would think he was murdering her, the sort of shrieks she admitted. Her thrashing caused her nightgown to ride up further until a nipple peaked out from beneath a fold, causing Heero to freeze his ministrations to tend to more interesting ones. Relena had thought she was warm, but that was nothing compared to the inside of his mouth as it closed in around the tip of her breast. The shrieks became moans, and Heero felt very pleased with himself. Rather than let him continue to be smug, Relena pulled his head up and she began to lightly kiss and bite his neck and was thereby somewhat reminded of her dream, which caused her already flushed skin to darken a bit more. Heero held her tightly to him and she wrapped her other leg around him. As they pressed together more tightly, Heero?s current state did not go unnoticed by her.

Pulling apart from him entirely she pulled a bit at his boxers, and for the first time in all this he had the grace to blush. After rolling off of her and complying with her unspoken request, he paused. Standing up beside the bed, Relena took off her last piece of clothing, her panties, and stood for a moment before Heero feeling more relaxed and accepted than she had ever felt before. Rising to his knees on the bed, he hugged Relena and petted her hair in one long stroke with his right hand. Not stopping there his hand slid down part of her arm to her hip and then to her middle, before stopping its descent.

?I would never deny you anything, Heero.? Relena said and she saw him shiver again as her words hit him. A quick savage kiss told her how close he was to losing his sense of surroundings. Laying her back down on the bed they continued to explore one another in turns, reveling in the feeling of being able to express physically what both had been hiding from one another for so long.

*

Duo finally picked the last lock.

?Heero Yuy you are one clever bastard.? The jerk had said he was going to go check on Relena at least four hours ago and the many dignitaries were getting really worried. Her presence was not technically needed to continue with most of the business, but she was important for what she stood for and to smooth over various other processes. Heero?s slapdash defense system had taken Duo an hour to crack through, and now he finally finished with the bedroom door. Hopefully there weren?t any other surprises Heero had in store.

The door swung open with a small creek and Duo was greeted with an unnerving sight. Heero had a gun pointed straight at Duo?s head, with the most serious look he had ever seen gracing his face. That was what was normal for the situation. As for the rest of things. . . . there was the fact that Heero appeared to be wearing nothing but a sheet draped about his midsection, in the crook of his left arm and peacefully resting and very probably naked Vice Foreign Minister also had a sheet draped around her. Both of them looked disheveled and even a little sweaty still.

?If you value your life, Maxwell, you had better back out of this room and close that door quietly. We?ll be out in thirty minutes.? He cocked the gun. ?Now move.? With wide eyes, Duo stepped back and indeed closed the door very quietly. Once outside he grinned to himself. It was about damn time they did this; he couldn?t wait to tell everyone the good news. Like a shot, he sprinted out of the room to go alleviate the agitated dignitaries? worry.

Back in the room, Relena didn?t move but she did murmur to Heero. ?That wasn?t very nice. He couldn?t have guessed what was going on.?

?I should have given him a shot in the arm just for not being prepared had there really been a hostile force in here.? He looked down at the top of her head. ?I thought you were sleeping.?

?No way. I?ve slept enough to last me quite a while.? She began to get up, for she fully intended to shower before meeting anyone formally. With a wicked grin as she entered the bathroom she asked. ?Care to join me?? Getting up to follow the girl he had been dreaming about and obsessing about for years, Heero set his gun down under the bed and out of sight.

?Now tell me about this dream you had. . . .?
