Summary:In the city of Libria where the emotion is forbidden and where the death means to anyone that breaks the rule if the emotions are displayed publicly and where the sense offenders are killed on the spot, one would dare to risk everything when it comes to the love even to loose her own life for it...

CH:6- Sign Of Remorse
Cleric Yuy's POV:
Since Relena has been taken away and placed in the cell as the sense offender the things turned in the comoplete different direction. As for my partner, Barton has been rarely seen in the past few days nor it was not mine to ask where he was at all. But as the time headed on the suspiction began to rise and with it the rummors began to fly around among the other Clerics and soon I have learned that he has been seen crossing to Nethers more often than he used before. What he was doing there and something was telling me that the thins were not as they seemed before.
Upon finishing the interigation with Relena I knew what I had to do and this
time it was no turning back at all. The guards at the main entrance to the
Libria had informed me that Barton had been seen going from Libria several times in the past few weeks and the reason was still remaining uknown. I have found him in empty and half standing what used to be the church and he was seating on a chair reading the book in the silence unaware of my arrival at all. When I finally apporached him he looked up from a book that he was reading and spoke:
"You always knew," He said his voice slight touched with the emotion.
"I will try to go easy on you." I replied back as I reached for my gun.
"There was never easy you know that." Was his reply then he turned his eyes to the book and continued to read this time aloud." But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Thread softly because you tread on my dreams."
He looked up at me his green eyes were flickering with the emotion as he did so.
"Do you dream Yuy?" he asked softly.
"I am sorry," was all I could say to him as I pointed my gun at his head his eyes never leaving mine as he placed the book up to his face.
"No you do not understand it Heero, It's just a vestigial word for a feeling
you've never felt." He reached out for his gun as well.
"Don't..." It was all that I told him and I pulled the trigger.

Days later I was came back to check on Relena. Perhaps she was ready to talk more about her friends if she is willing to do so. One of the guards brouth me the box that carried her personal items and left me alone and before he left he said:
"These are the possessions she had at the time of being taken away. The illegal ones will be burned after she is verdicted."
"Good," and he left me alone to look through her things.
There was only necklace she had with a locket shaped as the butterfly and a small case that caught my attention the same as the red ribbon which I picked up and moved to my nose catching the scent that was for sure Relena. There was no time to waste at all and I had to see her right now.

Relena's POV:
He came again to see me and once he had not left me alone in this short period of a life that has been left to me before the execution that would happen in the few days.
"Trowa Barton." He said flatly.
"The name supposed to mean something to me?" I asked back sarcastically.
"He was a Grammaton Cleric, First Class. You knew him." He stared back at him as he placed the potograph before me that showed Trowa and me taken year ago in one of the gardens outside of Libria.
"News bulletin-- I'm sense offender. I don't hang around much with the Cleric."
"I want to know about him." He pressed again.
"Well... I suggest you go and ask him. But I understand that he's dead killed by your friends at the Tetragrammaton." My voice was touched sligtly with the emotion.
"Not by my friends. By me." He responded flatly and it was enough for me.
Reaching over I snatched the pen that was lying on the notebook and was ready to attack him but it was a wrong move for the next thing I knew I was presed down on a table with him holding my hand and his other moving toward my face like he was trying to touch it.
Something passed in his eyes and then he let go off me and moved away from me not wanting to look into my eyes again. Slowly I came to my senses and took a seat on a table my back toward him for I was sure that was something in his eyesthat I have not seen before, was that a sign of remorse, it was hard to tell now.
"You were more than just the friends." was his reply as I remined silent.
CH:7- The Prodigal Cleric
Cleric Yuy's POV:
*********
The note has been sent since Relena has been taken and the Vice-Council Marquise wanted to know what is it going on and why the diplomat has been charged with the sense offence. It was quite unusual since he knew very well that Miss Darlian was never off the doze and he wanted to know why this was happening.
I was summoned into his office for a long talk and strangerly enough the subject of the conversation was not placed dealing with the Sense offender which was in Relena's case but much different subject matter.
Zechs Marquise was senior man with the platinum blond hair that was left loose going up to his waist and eyes that were icy blue no emtion was in them but he could kill you just by looking you back with those eyes and sense offendes might find that disturbing but for the Celrics we felt nothing at all nor even bother with it.
"Thank you for coming, Cleric. I assume you know who I am." He spoke.
"Yes,sir. Of course. You are Vice-Council Marquise of the Third Conciliarly of the Tetragrammaton. Father's voice." He nodded in the agreement as I spoke back.
"Quite frankly,Cleric. I am told that you are very nearly a prodigal student, knowing almost instantly if someone is feeling."
"I have a good record, Sir." the reply was there.
"Why, do you imagine, that is, Cleric?" Marquise kept pushing on with the
questions.
"I'm not sure, Vice- Council. Somehow.. I'm able, on some level, to sense how and offender thinks, to.. put myself in their position."
He nodded slowly listening his icy-blue eyes never leaving mine as he kept
talking."If you had ceased your interval, if you were a sense offender."
"I suppose you could say that, sir." and then the subject has been changed.
"You're family man, Cleric?"
"Yes, sir a boy and girl. The boy's in the monastery himself, on a path to
becoming a Cleric." He arched the eyebrow slightly at the reply.
"Good. And the mother?"
"My spouse was arrested and incinerated for sense offence four years ago, sir."
"By yourself?"
"No, sir by another."
"How did you feel about that?" I titled my head trying to figure out what he
meant by that question.
"I'm sorry. I don't fully understand that, sir."
"How did you feel?" My eyes driffted back at the guard by the wall waiting for any trouble to break in.
"I didn't feel anything."
"Really? How is it that you came to miss it?"
"I...I've asked myself that same question, sir. I don't know."
Vice-Council was watching him with the judgemting eyes like he was waiting for an emotion to break through but nothing seemed to appear at all.
" A nearly unforgivable lapse, Cleric. I trust you'll be more vigilant in the
future."
"Yes, Sir."
"Dismissed..."
