The Inuyasha/Kagome Sappy Romance 3/25

Chapter: ?You just can?t leave well enough alone can you Sesshomaru?? Or Chapter Three.

A/N: No I don?t own any of these characters. This is the first and only time I will say this. Thank you.

Kagome went the whole day with her head in the clouds. She was really pleased at the way things were going between she and Inuyasha. She had barely been able to walk this morning from the intensity of her dream the night prior. Her mom had been able to sense what had happened, she confronted Kagome and she spilled the whole thing. She refused to hide things from her mother, especially when she had been so kind before.

Surprisingly, Ms. Higurashi had been approving of the whole situation, though she did want to meet Shippo.

?I can only imagine what kind of creature could make such an impression on Inuyasha. I?ll bet he?s as cute as a button if not cuter.?

Kagome laughed hard at her mother?s antics, promising to let her see Shippo.

Kagome went through school with her head in the clouds again. She had a more and more difficult time deciphering her algebra equations than she had been previously. Kagome did not stay after school to see
her friends and have her normal bull session, she had a hanyou and a kitsune waiting on her, they weren?t gonna wait long knowing their patience levels.

Kagome burst in the door to find a sight she wasn?t prepared for, Inuyasha, Shippo and Sota were on the living room floor wrestling.

She stifled her giggles and watched asInuyasha showed a side of himself that noone but she had ever suspected existed. He
tousled with the six year old fox cub and the ten-year-old boy. They really seemed to enjoy when he got down on all fours and crouched like a panther about to pounce and did just that. He let out a little growl and pounced on the two young boys.

Kagome finally had to breathe, letting a giggle slip as she did so.

Inuyasha looked to find the source of the noise and smiled warmly at her.

?Lets go boys, Kagome might get upset if we don?t include her!? He winked at her and released Shippo and Sota.

Shippo immediately jumped up on Kagome and nuzzled her neck. ?Momma Kagome!!! I missed you!!?

Kagome laughed to herself and said quietly. ?Shippo you saw me yesterday! I can?t see you every day!? She let a giggle escape and Inuyasha smiled warmly at her.

?She?ll make a great mother. I?m looking forward to this.? Inuyasha then slipped back into character and growled low in his throat.

?Spread out Runt! Let a man get to his woman!? Shippo stuck his tongue out at Inuyasha but jumped to the floor and went to play video games
with Sota.

Kagome giggled and Inuyasha held her then kissed her gently on the lips.

?Miss me?? He purred into her ear.

?Dreadfully!? She whispered back, blowing into his little doggie ear.

He shivered and purred again. He pulled away from her and sat on the
couch.

?Don?t start something you don?t intend to finish Kagome. I mean I only have so much control.?

Kagome sighed to herself. ?I?m sorry Inuyasha. Was Shippo too hard to
deal with? I think he enjoyed wrestling with you and Sota.?

?Feh, the kid wasn?t that much trouble. He was kinda annoying on the way here, but that was all. I understand that he misses you and all, I missed you too.? He looked away and lowered his voice at the last so Kagome had to strain to hear him.

She moved over next to him on the couch and cuddled with him, letting him put his arm around her and stroke her back.

Ms. Higurashi came in with her arms full of grocery bags. Upon seeing Inuyasha and Kagome on the couch, she cleared her throat and giggled as they jumped sky high.

?Can you two help me with these? There?s more in the car, Inuyasha would you be a dear and take these for me??

Inuyasha blushed at her endearment and replied. ?Feh, sure whatever.?

Which Ms. Higurashi took to mean. ?Yes ma?am I?d be only too happy to help you.?

Sucky thing being she translated correctly. Kagome went out to the car to bring in the rest of the bags, on her way back in she called for Shippo to come down. When she got into the kitchen she nearly fell over laughing. Ms. Higurashi was trying in vain to keep a case of ramen out of Inuyasha?s reach.

?Come on! I?m hungry! Please!? It sorta looked like a dog begging from its master. A very funny sight indeed.

?I?ll make you some Inuyasha dear but you have to calm down!? Ms. Higurashi was trying to calm him and succeeded only when aided by her daughter.

?Inuyasha Sit.? Kagome said gently.

After face planting on the floor, Inuyasha sat up and growled at Kagome.

?What was that for? I thought you trusted me??

Kagome giggled and scolded him jokingly. ?Do what mama said or no dessert!?

Ms. Higurashi cocked her head aside and said ?But I haven?t planned a dessert.?

Kagome giggled and looked winking at Inuyasha. ?I know!?

Inuyashatook a hint and glanced at Kagome growling low in his throat. The growl had a kind of meaning to it.

?You had better have a great deal of dessert in mind after this!? Kagome
giggled for about the ninth time that day.

Suddenly Shippo came bounding down the stairs. ?You sent for me Mama??

Ms. Higurashi stopped dead in her tracks and faced Shippo.

?Oh, my he?s so cuuute!? Ms. Higurashi cooed at Shippo.

He blushed up to his ears before hiding behind Kagome and
asking meekly, ?Who is she??

Kagome smiled and picked Shippo up. ?This is my Mama, your grandma you might say.?

Shippo?s eyes lit up and he jumped into Ms. Higurashi?s arms. ?Hi Nana!!?

He snuggled up under her chin and started purr/growling.

Nana as she now demanded to be called, couldn?t have been happier.

Later that evening and several bowls of ramen later, Inuyasha allowed himself the luxury of a nap. He lay on Kagome?s bed and took a very light catnap. Kagome went in to check on him at nearly eleven and he was still sleeping. She didn?t want to disturb him so she started to creep out of the room.

His voice startled her. ?What do you need Kagome??

She stepped back in and sat on the bed next to him. ?I was wanting to know if you were going to take Shippo back tonight. He?s getting fussy and needs to get to sleep. If you want I can put him down with my brother and he can stay the night. You can come get him when you?re ready to take him home.?

Inuyasha opened his eyes and studied her. ?You want me to go??

Kagome bit her lip then said, ?No, but you can?t stay in my bed.?

?Why not? What?s the problem??

Kagome turned blood red and whispered. ?I?m not sure I could control myself if you did stay.?

Inuyasha strained to hear her but smiled in his heart when he did. ?She wants me but she wants to wait. Wow, I?ve never actually been
wanted before!?

?It?s alright Kagome. I?ll sleep up in the tree. I understand. I?ll take
Shippo back first thing in the morning.?

Kagome smiled at him and thanked him with her eyes. She leaned in to kiss him on the lips, but he was feeling slightly more, shall we say,
amorous. He pulled her close and ravaged her mouth with his tongue and began massaging her back gently. Her quiet whimpers became more and more urgent and she broke away.

?That?s enough for one night.?

?Yeah, I guess so. Goodnight Kagome.?

?Goodnight Inuyasha. I love you.?

?Yeah, I know.? He leaned in and kissed her once more before leaping out the window and into the tree.

Kagome had put Shippo down with Sota and was on her way to bed. Nana had already said goodnight to her and she was just about to hit the sack. Kagome went into her room and shut the door. She started changing clothes when she heard a sound at the window and turned to investigate. She saw nothing but knew instinctively what the sound was.
She had this deep seeded urge to yell ?sit? but she resisted and did quite the opposite. She turned and gave Inuyasha a full show. She took off her bra and panties and slowly turned to her dresser to grab a change. She heard another sound followed by a curse.

?You can come out Inuyasha I know you?re there!? She heard him quickly jump into the tree and nothing else.

The next morning Kagome?s alarm woke her up and she looked for Inuyasha outside her window. She didn?t see him but she did hear a loud noise coming from the kitchen. Kagome went downstairs in her pajamas to find Inuyasha, Shippo, Sota and her grandfather fighting over who got the last waffle. Inuyasha was winning until she interfered.

?Don?t make me say the ?s? word!!? That stopped Inuyasha but the other three were still fighting.

?Give it to Shippo! He?s the youngest!?

Sota and grandpa sat back sulking and Shippo devoured the waffle, afraid that it might be taken from him at a moments notice. Kagome sat down next to Inuyasha and poured herself a glass of orange juice. Inuyasha then proceeded to nag her about ?dessert? from the night before. She was blood red all during breakfast. She went upstairs to change and dragged Inuyasha with her. They made out for a long time then Inuyasha said they had to get going. She got dressed and they went downstairs. Nana hugged the snot out of Shippo and told Inuyasha
to bring him back soon or else. Inuyasha had a frightened look on his face and replied that he would. Before he hopped back down the well, Inuyasha kissed Kagome once more. Then he was gone

Back in the feudal era, Kaede was waiting for Inuyasha.

?I?m glad ye are back child. Ye brother Sesshomaru is seeking ye for a challenge. He has been continually attacking the village and it is all I can do to keep our bodies and souls together. I need your help.?

Inuyasha growled low in his throat and headed off in the direction of the village. ?Stupid Bastard!!! Come out and face me Sesshomaru!!?

Sesshomaru stepped out from a line of trees and stood facing his brother. ?Gladly, but first...?

Sesshomaru jumped over Inuyasha?s head and raced to Kaede and Shippo. He snatched the kitsune from Kaede?s grasp and took off in the direction of the forest.

?Get back here!! What are you doing your fight is with me!!?

?Help me Inuyasha!!? Inuyasha ran as fast as his legs would carry him
but couldn?t catch up to Sesshomaru.

?Shippo!?

A/N: I know how mean you all think I am for leaving this at such a mean cliffhanger but that is why I am me!!! Please review and maybe you?ll get to find out what happens next! evil grin

I enjoy criticism, constructive or destructive and Elelmental Paladin is making changes to the next chap and will post it when he is happy with it.
