I guess I was just really disappointed that these people weren't as good as they and their friends chalked them up to be. :-? And it's not like I was judging a book by its cover...

My experience as a beta is definately going to help in this because a lot of the things that they need to improve upon are things that I've said often to other writers. ^^ The only problem I now face is the possibility that I might become a bit too wordy. (No! Say it ain't so, Jackie! I never would have guessed!

) But being that I'm better than them in terms of writing ability, (feeling a bit pompus saying that...

), I know that they may just expect it. :-? Maybe they'll even want it... Of course, if I go too far, then it won't be accepted, and they might think I'm arrogant.

Ahh... I hate being PC... :x
