Oh...I love Kenshin lots...I haven't seen what CN did to it, but cutting scenes is a big no-no for me.
I live in the Philippines, where anime is pretty much...well...free, except for a few exceptions, like Fushigi. CCS and Sailormoon and GUndam W had great dubbing...
RK did receive heavy cutting, especially during the last part. They merge two eps into one...how bad is that?
Anime may be becoming mainstream, but it doesn't mean it should be cut, edited or dubbed in such a way that the anime looses it's real essence.

I just avoid Cartoon Network when it comes to anime period. I find it saves a lot of heart ache. But I couldn't help but notice the newest show, about a guy with a big robot. It's not even anime. It's some american version of anime. And this time they have crossed the line. They ruined mecha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They destroyed an entire genre! And the Star Wars thing was truly evil. Maybe we should hold an exorcism at CN headquarters. They just keep destorying one anime after another! What's next, Noir? Friuts Basket? Will the madness ever cease?
