Code Name [Week 4]

AN I owe some Huge thanks to Adaon the weekly prompt has helped me so much to get back into writing also to continue practicing on 'shorter' works ^_~ not everything needs to be as long as Mistaken Words So I hope you enjoy!

Code Name
"Firefly is on the move," an agent spoke softly into his right cuff as Relena walked past.
She glanced back over her shoulder not sure she'd heard him correctly, before looking to her constant shadow. Stoic and vigilant Heero was never more than three strides away from her, which was just how she liked it. They walked together through the halls of Agency in silence, and it wasn't until they were in the relative privacy of her limo that Relena voiced the question on her mind.
"Did I hear right?" she asked and Heero just blinked at her face expressionless. Or so most people would think, after being with him for three years Relena had learned to read his micro expressions. Having some idea of what he was thinking or feeling had unnerved Heero no end in the beginning.
"About what?"
"You changed my Code name, to Firefly?" Relena half laughed while saying it.
Heero shrugged slightly, "You said you were tired of the old one," he said as though that should have explained it all.
It was true Relena had grown tired of being referred to as 'The Dove' sure she had helped bring about the peace, but it hadn't been done solely by her. And that title had begun to hang heavy around her shoulders. Leaning forward in her seat Relena locked eyes with Heero a slender eyebrow rising. "Why Firefly?"
For an instant she saw his lips twitch, unless you were looking for it you'd never have know he found the reason amusing. "No reason," he returned calmly.
"I don't believe you," Relena placed on hand on his leg, feeling the firm muscle beneath his slacks.
"You do cause sparks," he deadpanned.
Relena half gasped half laughed, "In our bedroom!" she countered moving immediately to sit on his lap.
"Who's going to make that connection?" Heero too her in his arms quickly drawing her into a kiss.
"Duo might," she said when they parted.
Heero shrugged with indifference, "I have more than enough on him. He won't say anything." Again for a brief moment Relena caught a smile on Heero's face, it was wicked and she loved it.
