Whispers [general; drabble; rating: K]

<b>AN:</b> 100 word drabble written for Mellie on July 13, 2006 in response to a meme on my El Jay. Her prompt was Trowa & whispers. Being the huge Trowa fan that I am, I couldn?t pass this up. Takes place pre-series (a first for me). It makes me want to write more about him pre-series. A part of me wants to expand this into a slightly longer one-shot/drabble. But I know I never will.

You kneel there, hoping they don?t hear you. Unconsciously you crouch further into a fetal position. Maybe they won?t see you?
You don?t know if you believe in God but that won?t stop you from praying in earnest. The hushed words come out in a furious torrent.
?Dear God don?t let them see me. Don?t let them find me. I?ll be a good boy I swear.?
You didn?t mean to stumble into their hideout. But it was raining and cold and you were so very tired.
?Hey kid, didn?t anyone tell you that God can?t hear you if you whisper??
