Yalana pulled away from Joey as he laid down beside her. She followed and laid so they were facing each other. Joey pulled her in for another long passinate kiss, and eventualy both fell asleep after. Yalana laid there with her head on Joeys chest and his arms rapped around her protectively.

Both woke at dawn sat there to take in the ocean breeze, and proceeded to go back and see Michelle and Jerico, who both also woke up at dawn and (thankfully) got dressed before they arrived.

"Yalana!" Jerico yelled running to give her a hug when both him and Michelle ran out to meet them.

"Hey Jerico, long time no see! What have you been up to?" She asked.

"Nothing much, the usual." Jerico smiled, "This is my girlfriend Michelle.....You look great! No bumps or bruises?"

"No none at all." she lied as Joey remembered the ones on her back, "So, Michelle is it? We'll have to hang out sometime!"

"I'd love to!" Michelle replied.

"Well it's ten minutes untill the clocktower strikes nine, so lets hurry up, get out of here, and go get some breakfast." Joey suggested looking at his watch.

"Yeah maybe later you can work on not boring my sis." Jerico stated sarcasticly.

"He did not bore me I was just tired from such a long trip." Yalana snapped.

"Who are you and what have you done with Yalana? I remember you used to just sit there all kind like, so where did this additude come from?" Jerico asked.

"I guess I have a new boost of confidence as well." she smiled.

She new it wasn't the whole truth, she was still as scared as she ever was, but she knew Joey would protect her if HE ever showed up. So in a way she did have a boost of confidence. It was one of those thing you didn't want to jinx. They all decided to walk to the nearest resturant as both Michelle and Yalana argued that it was unsafe for all four of them to ride in the backseat of a taxi. Giving in, Joey and Jerico lead the way as the girls talked and followed. They seemed to have alot in common, they liked the same music, clothing styles, food, loved to shop, and (for Yalana occasionaly) liked to dance or sing.

"Seems they're taking to each other." Jerico stated bluntly.

"Well look at it this way, more time to look for a house." Joey laughed

"House?" Yalana asked as they entered a resturant.

"Your bro is going to look for a house for you to live in." Joey smiled.

"Really?" she stated with a semi worried face.

"Hey! What was that face for?" Jerico asked

"Oh nothing." she replied inocently.

Jerico glared at her as they all sat down in a booth. The waiter came to take their order, and then walked off to go fix it. When Joey, Yalana, and Jerico had their heads turned Michelle bent down under the table to pick up something she dropped. In doing so she noticed Joey and Yalana holding hands. Joey had his right hand on her left leg, and she had her right hand holding his while her left elbow rest gently on the table. When she sat back up Yalana was staring at her. Michelle simply smiled back, because thruthfully she thought that both Yalana and Joey were a perfect match based on what Jerico told her about each of them. Yalana mouthed the words "Don't tell Jerico." and Michelle replied with a nod. Yalana smiled as the boys turned their attention to the oncoming food.

"Oh my god! That really hit the spot!" Michelle exclaimed as they walked out of the resturant.

"Totaly!" Yalana replied laughing along with her.

"Look at you two! You've only known each other a couple of hours and your practicly clones." Joey stated sarcasticly.

"Ay, no coments from the peanut gallery." Yalana retorted as a cover up, "Where to now?"

"Time for the CLUB!" Jerico yelled happily.

"Oh, not again." Joey pleaded.

"Well look at it this way, you can claim Yalana as your date." Michelle suggested looking at Jerico.

"Fine, if it'll keep Salicia off your back I'll allow it." Jerico stated as Yalana held in a bursting felicity.

"I can handle that." Yalana said calmly as they walked in the club.

Joey and Michelle made their way to the dance floor, and Joey lead Yalana to the bar as neither wanted to dance.

"Joey! I see you've got a date tonight." the bartender pointed out, "Ooh a hot one at that. What can I get today?"

"Um, a four beers please." Yalana answered.

"Unfortunately Joey, I can't save you from her this time." the bar tender sighed as Salicia walked up.

"Hey Joey, where have you been? You want to dance?" Salicia asked clinging on to his arm.

"No. I do not want to dance with you." Joey smirked.

"Ooh, I love it when you play hard to get." she stated playfully as Yalana glared at her.

"I'm not playing hard to get! First of all, I don't like you and never will, second of all, I have a date tonight (and no it is not you)." Joey retorted.

"And who would this ghastly little bitch be?" she asked.

"Excuse me!" Yalana snapped as all heads turned to her.

"Oh, your his date. I was looking for some one who came remotely close to competing with me." Salicia smirked, "I don't care who you are, but keep your hands off my man."

"Your man? I don't recall him claiming you as his girl. Oh no wait...that was me. Sorry I must have confused you with some one of a high status, when you look like you sleep in the dump." Yalana retorted.

"Hmph, lets settle this my way." Salicica insisted, "Straight up, street dancing. If I win (which is most garenteed to happen) I get Joey to myself, and you can't speak to, touch, or be around him. You win and you get to keep him."

Yalana watched Joey out of the corner of her eye signaling her to say no.

"Where and when?" Yalana asked with additude.

Salicia gave and expected answer, watched Yalana pay for the beers, and walk off with Joey. After telling Jerico she'd be out for a while with Joey for 'protection', they headed to their secret spot by the ocean.

"I hope you know what your getting yourself into." Joey stated while skipping rocks againist the calm ocean as Yalana sipped at her beer.

"I might be scared as hell when I'm at home, but I don't let anyone outside of it call me a bitch." Yalana stated as Joey gave her a puzzled look, "Sorry, did I say that out loud? You really weren't supposed to hear that."

Joey had already peiced it together. Between the bruise marks and what she had just said, the result even made him fear for her life. Joey was still unsure though and didn't want to confront her about it.

"I didn't hear it, if I didn't need to." he lied

She smiled and continued to finish off her beer along with the others. Heading back to the base that night, Yalana fell asleep in the taxi from a combination of beer, fatigueness, and frustration. Joey paid the taxi driver and carried Yalana up to the room where Jerico laid asleep on the couch. Joey walked over, laid her on one of the beds, and covered her up. Jerico sat up sleepily and looked over to see Joey kiss Yalana good night. He figured it was just a dream and laid back down.
