This is longer than part1 and 2 but it leaves you with a cliffhanger.

Joey got into the taxi and yelled "To the base just drive!"

"I see your having troubles with Salicia." stated the taxi driver after he sped off.

"Is it that obvious?"

"Yeah a little."

"Just don't remind me of it."

"Ok." responded the taxi driver "Here ya go, on the house."

"Wow everythings free tonight." Joey said with sarcasm

"Only Tonight."

"Thanks."

"No prob."

Joey shut the door to the taxi and walked to his room. Looking at the answering machine when he got in, he played the one new message.

'Um, hey Jerico it's Yalana. I was so excited about this sunday I decided to take a plane tonight so I could spend more time with you and Joey. I should arrive sometime around ten-thirty a.m. tomorrow. If your not to busy could you come pick me up. If you are just send Joey or some one else you trust to be around me. Any way I left my new cell number for the call back but you need to call me to tell me who to look for. My plane is about to take off, so I'll see you when I get there. Love ya, bye.'

After the message was over Joey thought "Wow she doesn't sound like a nerd at all.", then scrambled around for a paper and pen when her call back number came up. Thankfully he got it down before the message was deleted. He sighed. Thank god for fast reflexes.

He figured he'd wait for Jerico to get back from where ever he was with Michelle, and tell him about his sister. The hours passed and so did Joey's patience. More and more Joey wondered where Jerico was and at the same point didn't care. He slowly started nodding of to sleep untill it eventualy couldn't be avoided.

The sun rose over the horizon of the ocean, iluminating the many beach houses and buisness buildings of the city. The clock tower a few blocks down from the base, struck ten and awoke Joey, who fell off the couch. Remembering Yalana he checked his watch and sleepily picked up the phone. The phone rang and while he waited for her to answer he sat himself back up on the couch. Meanwhile a blond haired, athletic, and very pretty girl, sat on a plane staring at a picture that she had of her brother and his friend. Suddenly her cell phone started ringing loudly. She quickly searched through her purse in the overhead compartment to answer it.

"Hello?" she asked.

"Hi Yalana, it's Joey." the person replied.

"Oh, hey."

"I got your message on the machine yesterday. Unfortunately I have no idea as to where the hell your brother is right now." Joey stated sleepily.

"Ah, so I take it your picking me up." Yalana smile as she sat down and stared a another picture that she had of Joey, "What's wrong you sound tired."

"Yeah well just to warn you, your going to get one hell of a wake up call over here in the mornings. We have a clock tower a few blocks down that is loud as hell." Joey laughed.

"Well atleast I know you have a sense of humor."

"When you have me around you days never go dull. Then again I live with your brother."

"I should be landing in a few though, and lord knows reception is bad when your landing." she said.

"Ok then. Do you know what to look for?" Joey asked

"Yeah Jerico gave me a couple pics of you."

"Aww man. Which ones?"

"The one's of you messing around on the beach."

"Oh ok. Those aren't so bad. I don't know what you look like though."

"Did Jerico leave his wallet?"

Joey took a quick look around the room and spotted a wallet on the floor.

"Yeah as always." answer Joey going to pick it up.

"Take the picture of me standing in the front of the art museum. I'll be wearing the same out fit." She stated.

Joey opened the wallet and took out the picture of Yalana. He froze. He stared at the picture of the blond haired, blue eyed beauty.

"You found it yet Joey.......Joey......Ay dipstick!" Yalana called.

"Yeah---that was better the what your brother called me. Yeah I found it" said Joey still mezmorized "Don't tell your bro but I'm stealing that pic."

Yalana chuckled

"So now you know what I look like and I know what you look like. So I guess I'll see you when I get there." said Yalana.

"Yeah I guess so." responeded Joey broken from his trance.

"Bye."

"Bye." said Joey, "Be aware that I won't have my sword."

"Ok then."

With nothing else to say they hung up, and both couldn't wait to see each other for the first time in person. Yalana, being nervous about it before, was more nervous now knowing that it was just Joey picking her up. To find some calmness she looked at his picture. Jet black hair, and the most gorgeous brown eyes she had ever seen. She never thought she'd actualy be meeting him in person. At this point she felt that if he were sitting beside her at the moment, she'd be shaking enough for it to be noticable. Joey felt similar as he got into a taxi and readied himself to meet her. A light above her head told her to put her seatbelt on she was landing. At the same time Joey was paying the taxi driver and walking inside. He look a quick look around and picked a seat in front of the nearest luggage convaorbelt, figuring he was a minute or two early as he saw no sign of her at all. Yalana walked off the platform and to the stairs, the escalators were to slow for how she was feeling at that moment. Three flights of stairs and she finally reached the bottom, which is where Joey was. After seconds of searching, she spotted the same jet black hair she saw in the pictures she had. Aproaching him was the easy part, now what would she say. Before she had time to think she was already there.

"Hey." said Yalana in the spur of the moment

Joey looked up.

"I have been given a whole new meaning to reality is better than pictures." Joey smiled, "Hi Yalana."

She felt herself blush a little but yet she felt she wasn't.

"Well I'm here what now?" she asked.

"How about we drop your stuff of at the base, and I take you on a tour of this lovely city." Joey replied with sarcasm.

"Your such a smartass." Yalana laughed.

"Damn, I tried to come across as a charming logic man. It never works." he smiled while taking two of her bags leaving her with the lightest one.

"Then stop trying."

Yalana followed him outside where he unsucsessfuly tried to get one of the seven taxi's that were across the street.

"I don't know what happened I used to be so good at this!" Joey stated

"Here take my bag." Yalana said hand Joey her last bag.

Yalana started taking the jacket she had on, off with a little hesitation. When it was off it revealed a pink baby t-shirt, low ride jeans, and five bruise marks on her back. Joey reluctantly didn't ask why they were int the shape of a handprint.

"Ay! Men in the taxi's!" She yelled as all the taxi drivers looked up at her, "Who wants to take this sexy little lady for a ride?"

When she was finished all seven taxi's went down the street and u-turned to line up in front of her.

"Pick a taxi, any taxi." she smiled while putting her jacket back on.

Joey not so surprised, picked the one closest to them. After they put her stuff in the trunk and got in, they talked little about the city on the short drive to the base. As they walked up to the room Yalana got alot of looks from the new recruits.

"Don't mind them as long as your with me or you brother they won't mess with you." Joey said while opening the door to the room, "It's not so flashy but we have comfortable beds, couch, and we have a tv."

"HOLY SHIT!" Yalana yelled jumping out of her skin as the clock tower struck eleven.

"See I told you loud as hell!" said Joey laughing histericly, "Now on to the tour."

They walked outside where the taxi was still waiting for them. They got in and talked a little more as Joey took Yalana to the farthest side of town and the farthest away from the club.

"So tell me about this Salicica." Yalana insisted as they got out.

"I see Jerico told you everything." Joey stated, "She's this black girl who thinks I'm hot and insists that I'm playing hard to get. She is such a slut if you ask me. So annoying she'd make your skin crawl."

"Wow nice words. I'd hate to run into her." she smiled, "Where are you taking me?"

"To a lovely little art shop I like to call Hell." Joey said point to a sign that Ironicly said Hell.

"That is funny."

"Yeah but they have some good artist."

The walked in the shop and some one imeadiatly called out to them.

"Joey! Hey man how ya been?" a man asked as they walked towards him.

"I've been good. This is Yalana, Jerico's sister." Joey answered intruducing Yalana.

"Oh hey there girl, your brother told me all about you! I hear your a good alchemist!"

"Well I try not to brag." she smiled politely

"Listen girl, my man Joey is single so if you want him take him." the man whispered loud enough for Yalana to hear.

"I will definetly keep that in mind."

"What did he tell you?" Joey asked

"Oh nothing." Yalana replied

"I like this girl already!" the man blurted out.

"Yeah she's already called me a smartass." Joey smiled

"Ooh I like her even more."

"Well of to the next place, lunch. I'm hungry, you?" Joey asked Yalana.

"Yeah, that sounds good." she answered

They walked off to the sound of the man in the art shop yelling "Have fun you two Love birds!", which made Yalana turn a violent shade of red. They went to have lunch at a not so fancy but not fast food resturant. Where Yalana claimed it was the best food she ever had. Then once again they walked off to the next location.

"Where are you taking me now?" asked Yalana

"To one of my most favorite spots in the world." Joey answered.

He took her through a path in the back of some ones yard, through a lava tube that was filled with rocks, and to the start ocean where the rocks had ended. Yalana stared in amazement.

"It's.....It's beautiful." she stated staring out into the ocean as they sat down on on of the more larger rocks.

"Yeah I thought you'd like it. I discovered it about two years ago though the owners, who's yard we walked through, never discovered it yet. I like to come here in my spare time to think about my sister and parents alone. It let's me get out of it a little and think about the things that are most important to me now." Joey said slightly dazed.

"Well you have some one with you today so let's talk about it." Yalana smiled.

Joey smiled at her and continued to pour out his life's story. All his embarassing moments, how his parents were killed, how his sister was diagnosed with cancer. He went through all of his regrets venting on Yalana because she gave him permission to. Yalana just sat there and listened as she could tell he needed to get it out. Then he was finished an returned the favor by listening to Yalana's life story. She told of her embarassing moments, times she just wished she didn't exist, and how her mother died though she didn't go into full detail in all of it. Before they bothe knew it the sun was starting to go down in the sky and the wind was picking up making Yalana shiver. Joey took of his coat and placed it on Yalanas shoulders which was well insilated and she stopped shivering soon after. The wind continued to blow through Yalana's hair as Joey took some hair and pushed it back behind her ear. Yalana looked over at him as he gently caressed her cheek with his thumb. They both knew they shouldn't kiss considering it was the first day they met and Yalana was Jerico's sister. Regaurding that fact Joey pulled her in untill he felt her warm moist lips againist his.
