Part 10: Sins and Redemption

"Relena" said Zecks as he jumps out of a humvee to see his sister in shock as she runs in to his arms. "Heero...He's in there with him...There fighting...I'm worried about Heero" said Relena as she tried to catch her breth
Heero fired his HK mark23 but the roud was deflected by Gotto who slashed at Heero but Heero blocked it with the trigger gaurd of his gun as Gotto tried to put his weight in to it Heero begain to shoot and onlt managed to graze his face. Heero pulled a small steel knife from his back and held it plush with his gun (Like Naked Snake in MGS 3: Snake Eater) Heero then took another shot at Gotto and got him in the shoulder. Gotto was just pissed off even more as he took a swipe at Heero buy just grazed his right cheek just under his right eye. Heero lost his footing and fell as Gotto had the very tip of his katana right on Heeros heart but in turn Heero has his gun on Gottos heart.
"Remember this Ordwin...just like old time ...BUT now I'll take my vengence for you killing my boy Derak" said Gotto "I always thought we were even on that for you killing my father" said Heero defiant of his seemingly hopeless situation. "You should see yourself...you look just like you father did before he died. That same look of aragants and pride...and still so tainted with sin for all the lives he took." said Gotto as he put a little pressure on the katana "Sorry to dissapoint you...but I found my redemtion for mine and my fathers sins the day I became a Gumdan pilot."
Heero pulled the trigger only to nail Gotto in the ribs and Heero only got stabed in the shoulder because he was able to pull the trigger first. Gotto got Heero buy the throught and liftd him in the aid and tossed him from the second floor through a stain glass window of Christ on the Cross.
Gotto then heard a rubber band snap and looked down to see that the rubber band held the fuse on an M67 frag Granage, then an explosion. "HOLY SHIT" said Duo as Heero came in and landed on the roof of the Humvee.
3 days later
Heero wakes up at home in bed ans looks over to the couch across the room to find Relena asleep. Heero then looks to the night stand to see three medels a Purple Heart (Heero's second one) a Silver Star (for holding back the emeny at the lagrange point) and a Combat Cross (for taking part in combat action) "Shit...that makes 12 ribons all together" said Heero as he saw his dress uniform in the closet that was ready for his wedding.
The weddings only a short time away
