How long before you...

Post by AnShino »

So I've been kind of out of the writing loop for a while and I've been meaning to dive back in. I never really thought I was a good writer to begin with though and there are somethings I'm really curious about..

For instance, how long does it take before you mark up to courage to copy and paste your 547829307495 page long epic into this text box and press "Submit?"

How long does it take you to write? Do you force yourself everyday? Or do you hae an actual time you know you can write?

How long does it take before you send it off to your beta for editting... even though you've editted it to shreds?

How long does it take for you to check the reviews on your baby after it's been all editted and re-editted and deleted because it was "no good" and then retrieved because your beta says it was the best f-ing thing she's read from you yet and then editted-AGAIN and finally posted?

And do you find that your writing is better or worse when you take so much time to look at this fic-of-doom?

Do you like spending so much/ little time on ONE MEASLY piece of FANFICTION or does it satisfy you to know that you put your heart into this work?

I hope I don't make the answers sound obvious... ^^;; I really do just want honest opinions.. I want to be able to play with how I write until I get something that suits me.
