Hidden Truths/Hidden Ties 3/?

Disclaimer: This fic is not apart of any Lord of the Rings affiliation and is not affiliated with Gundam Wing or Bandai...This is a fanfiction out of two of my favorite movies.
P.S. I probably won't get this chapter done in one hit... Sorry, but my new computer doesn't have microsoft word yet...

Chapter Three
Returned from a dream
One month later...
Relena smiled at the press politely, shook someone's hand and sat in the back of her car. Another discussion about her ideas for the newest colony, and she was tired of their political games. Duo drove back to the estate quietly, as she liked it. He glanced back at her in the mirror and noticed that she was staring back at him. This was a routine that they silently agreed to a month ago, that she just broke. He check on her and she pretend that she was just watching the press, acting normal. Then he report back to Zechs. Relena shook her head sadly as she took her gaze back to the window. "Duo, you can tell my brother to kiss my ass. I'm tired of pretending to be alright."
With the slightest of grins, he nodded and pulled into the drive. It had been raining since the start of the meeting over 3 hours ago. Now it was near full dark. Gently misting, a fog bank rolling slowly across the gardens near the trees as they came to a stop.
Walking slowly as she walked through the door that he opened and closed behind her, Relena said thanks to Pagan and ascended the stairs to her quarters. Closing the door behind her, she tossed the paperwork onto the floor atop of the other piles of work that she had to look at next to her desk. She didn't miss a beat as she changed her clothes to something more relaxed and headed to her bed. Flopping backwards on the comforter, she stared blankly at the ceiling for a moment, thinking on how different her life was without Heero to show her how to appear emotionless.
He was her bodyguard and one of her closest friends. 'And you left him to be kidnapped by anyone.' Guilt rapped her in despair as she let it wash over her. He would never again glare at Duo, or secretly go to her meetings behind hidden curtains, to listen and give silent support to her.
"...I guess there's no excuse for someone like me. Always thinking of the ...Future." She practically spat out the word in her pillow, tears pouring from her face unheeded. All she could think of was how she couldn't have done anything different. Deep down she knew that Heero would have done what he could have to give the little girl a chance.
Another wave of guilt brought a gasp renching from her. 'Heero. He didn't have to fight anymore... But I brought out enemies time and time again! It's my fault!' "It's all my fault!" This continued on for an hour until she cried herself out and fell asleep. Thankfully, her dreams didn't reach her this time since she would only dream of her perfect soldier.
Knocking at the door, Pagan listened for any sound. Opening the door a crack, to make sure she wasn't asleep at her desk, he sighed and returned the tray of sleeping pills and tea to the cart and closed the door in relief.

Somewhere in a gove of trees...
Whispering...and, song??? What the hell?
Heero listened to the strange language as he lay on a bed of some kind. He felt weak, as if he had tried staying up for a week straight and couldn't open his eyes. The singing/ringing in his head stopped and he heard quiet footsteps come close by.
"Yallume! Lle rangwa amin toror'?" Hearing this quiet voice, Heero tried to get up but ended up falling back to the cot.
"Where am I?" he rasped. His throat was sore and whatever he could sense behind his eyelids was spinning.
"Amin hiraetha. --ou are at the ---," the word was strange but he could see some sort of picture in his head of a secluded woods and some sort of boat. The picture started to sway and he felt nauseous. "Rest well. This will help the naik." A cool liquid was given to him and he slowly drifted back to sleep, wondering what he had gotten himself into.

"Does he sleep once more, Elyn?" One of the men in cloaks asked in hushed tones. The girl wiped sweat off her brow and nodded.
"Whatever they did to him needs time to heal. Yavewen? Have you anything new to report?" The young leader of this group asked as she got up from her seat next to her patient.
"My lady, the other humans are searching nearby. If he does not heal in time then what do we do? fight?" The elder woman asked worriedly. She did not want bloodshed.
"You need not worry, Yavewen. There will be no bloodshed over this. However we will have to take him somewhere safe for the time being." Arwen Elena firmly stated as she looked to their leader.
"There is a large home to the north east that in dreams he has thoughts of. Let us take him there. We will heal him as much as we can until then."
The group then nodded their agreement and went on with their assigned duties.
"Elyn," Arwen Elena spoke quietly in quenya, the lately more rare language they knew. "Do you think this is wise? He is strong enough to be cared for by the other Edain."
"I know of your concerns Arwen Elena. However my worries are of both our group and that of the health of my Toror." She replied as she glanced down at the sleeping form of Heero. "If you will permit it, I will use healing herbs from Valinor, and then take him to the home myself. We will of course give him clothes and herbs and food. We have more than enough lembas."
"Very well, I will get the clothing and supplies. Becareful, young one. It is likely he does not know you anymore." and she left for the supplies.
"...I know that only too well."

Late that night, in Relena's gardens...
The small group swiftly sped through the thin grove that hid the creek from the house to the gardens behind the main section of the building, carefully carrying, half dragging Heero to the first bench they found. He was breathing heavily due to the medications they used. Using them to quickly was the cause of his disorientation. Anoridan accidently tripped the alarm on the outskirts of the gardens. Lights came on almost immediately afterwards.
"Asca! (Hurry) They may attack us just for bringing him here!" Anoridan half-whispered as the others quickly ran for the trees. Elyn hesitated by Heero for a moment, torn between her charge and her people's safety.
"HEy! You, there! Freeze and put your hands up!" Duo yelled, gun drawn as he pointed it at the cloaked figure. She wasn't near enough to Heero so Duo didn't see anyone else. Glancing at the trees she decided to protect her people by running in the opposite direction: Straight at the now growing group of guards.
"Wha-?! Heads up!" Duo yelled as he ducked. The trespasser leapt right above his head and dodged and evaded the other guards. At the top of the water fountain in the front of the property, she stopped and smirked at the guards, flipping onto the top of the car that Zechs and Noin were arriving in.
"Holy Shit!" Zechs exclaimed. Noin gasped as she caught a glimpse of the assailants face. Swerving slightly, Zechs came to a stop at the front steps. Cloaked still, the escaping girl was closely followed by the guards.

Relena woke to the alarms and noise with a start. "What in the world?" Finding her robe she stepped out onto her deck. No one was behind the house at the moment, and she couldn't recall which alarm meant intruder or fire.
Walking down the steps one at a time, taking in the cool night breeze she gazed at her secluded sanctuary from politics and the like. A light mist was making the usually peaceful sight of the Roses and other wildflowers seem surreal and eery. The aromas of all the plants accented the smell of pine and other trees and made her feel light headed as she walked in the cultivated pathways to her favorite bench underneath a large Willow tree. She was going to sit a while and reflect on old memories. It never occurred to her that it wouldn't be vacant.

Heero was still trying to get his balance, whatever he was given was making the ground tilt and swirl around his feet. Holding onto the back of the bench he was standing next to, he looked up and saw a slight blur of white and pale gold.
"...Who, are you?" Relena demanded very coldly. 'Must have been intruder alarms.' She took an involuntary step backward and inhaled sharply when Heero took the last few steps into the moonlight.
"Relena?" He sounded tired, disoriented, and Wonderful to Relena. He was wearing a kind of blanket or something and looked rather pale.
"...Heero." That whisper was all she wasted as she went right up to him and held him as if he would disappear otherwise. Tears welled in her eyes as he returned it albeit weakly. When she saw that he was shaking from exaustion she quickly led him to the deck. Luckily, he was strong enough to walk up the few steps that led to her room.
In the light she could tell that the blanket was actually a cloak and forest green/silver clothes. 'He's alive, he's alive, he's alive.' was running through her mind as he sat on the edge of her bed. He looked up at her face and smiled faintly as she sat next to him. Looking around with just his eyes, he looked confused. "Relena, are you alright?" Relena was going to say something but his body leaned slightly towards her and she had to catch him before he fell at her feet from exaustion.
