Kiss

my short little blurb that i wrote when i had a sudden surge of inspiration. Enjoy.
They had been spending too much time together. So as a consequence, the inevitable happened. The romance started with a good night kiss. He was just so irresistible, standing there in her doorway, worn out from a week of little to no sleep and constant vigilance. So she kissed him. She had expected him to pull away and inform her that they couldn't, shouldn't and wouldn't, because it was inappropriate and unprofessional. However he didn't. Instead he let her lips linger against his for a little while before pulling away. With a low "goodnight" began five years of kissing, touching, waking up against each others chest, worrying if he will come back, taking several bullets for her, fighting over absolutely nothing, and constant companionship. But most of all, five years of loving each other. Therefore at this particular moment, it felt right to end courtship and begin marriage with a kiss.
