"Heero." Relena laughed. The sound was musical and close to his ear. "You're supposed to keep the beat, not trample all over it." She struggled in his grip and managed to take a half-step back from where he had her: trapped in his embrace, pressed tight against his body.
"Come on. Let's try this again." She pulled free of his grasp, turned and walked over to her desk. She picked up the remote, hit a button, and started the classical selection over again.
Relena spun and moved closer once more. Her blue eyes glanced up and met his gaze. He stared back. She smiled, then lowered her eyes and curtsied before him. He could see the top of her blond hair when she bowed her head. Then, in an instant, she was up, her arms raised and waiting for him to take the lead.
He grabbed her left hand at her wrist, and settled his left hand on her back ? near her waist, then repeated his 'faux pas' of earlier by pulling her closer than what was considered 'polite'.
"Heero?"
Her skin beneath his fingertips was soft, and so was her body where it pressed against him. Strands of her hair tickled his cheek. He moved his left hand just a bit lower, and pushed her forward ? pulled her tighter into his body. His right hand slid along the exposed skin of her arm to her shoulder, then down her back to land next to his left.
She struggled against him, pulling her head up to look him in the eye. "I thought you wanted?"
He leaned forward and caught her lips. Heero watched her shut her eyes before he tightened his hold on her and deepened their kiss. Her mouth was so soft?
Relena broke away and settled her head back to its original position against his chest. The beat of the music continued all around them. And he held her?
And swayed gently to the beat.
