Mystery pairing, so it's really open to interpretation, but I had one of the traditional couples in mind. ^_^

The Young Romantic

In among the plastic towers,
As the Barefoot touches soil,
Gather up bouquets of flowers
And fasten them with wire coils.

Catch the heat of shattered glass,
Hold the pinpricks burning bright;
Look upon discarded pasts
In the greyed and silent night.

Cast about for faded souls,
Feast upon the roasted dove;
As the sweetest birdsong lulls
Pledge to me eternal love.

Oooh very nice! I love the way it flows, and the imagery you use. For some reason I kept seeing Treize and Une? Maybe it was just the references to flowers and the roasted dove ::grin:: Wonderful poem!
