Most of the time that they were together they weren't alone.

She was now the Foreign Minister to the ESUN and he was her head of security, a special position of the Preventers. There were always something to do; appearances to make and people to meet. Relena was in demand and he had to protect her.

He didn't mind it as much as he used to. When he first took the job, he was hesitant because in an average week, Relena took at least one trip to one of the Colonies, went all over the Earth, and worked an average of 15 hours per day. The first thing he did was cut the amount of hours she worked to no more than 10. She was working more than him and he was a workaholic.

He loved her and he loved their jobs but he loved the moments like these more. They were lying on their bed; he was lying vertically and she was laying horizontally, her head on his chest. They just laid there, no need to move or do anything else. They didn't need to; they had past the stage where they had to prove their love by make constant gestures and filling every moment with kisses.

Now, they rested knowing that they were loved. It was all that mattered after all.

Well written Blue-- in just so many words you were able to keep true to Heero's personality while adding something new as well. I liked the ending alot--I thought that little moment between Heero and Relena was very sweet. Good job.
