Riza sighed, the day catching up to her. She lay down on her bed, not caring to undress. ?Mustang, you better be worth it,? She mumbled at the ceiling.

Sleep came to her easily, but her mind couldn?t stop thinking about him. Her dreams showed him unconscious and covered in blood that night not so long ago. Only this time she couldn?t save him, this time she was powerless. Luckily, her thoughts came to what they had now. He was still dependent on her to help him, but they had created a rhythm. Together, anything was simple, enjoyable.

A noise at her door drew her out of her dreams. She opened her eyes, sat up, and there he was. He looked almost like Black Hayate in the way he cast his glance at her. ?Can I have a glass of water??

Riza stared at him, a look of astonishment and annoyance on her face. ?Do you know what time it is??

?Please??

She gave in to a smile because she knew she couldn?t say no to him. ?Come on, let?s get that water, Mustang.?

hehe! glads you liked it! I haven't written this in...forever and a day. But I am sure I can work out a faustian bargain with my muse.

I have no idea as to what spoilers this is alluding to as I've only seen the episodes on Adult Swim, but I can't wait to find out!! I just saw the ep. last night where Ed and Al and that big burly blond Armstrong guy are headed back to the boys' hometown and it pulled so hard on my heartstrings I thought I was gonna ralph. I am slowly falling in love with this series; it just balances heavy, deep emotions with little sprinkles of humor so well. I think the part with Al faking the "evil, cursed armor" made me snort my Mountain Dew out my nose!!

So back to your drabble...I loved it! Wonderfully cute!

And now you understand our (Mellie's and my) obsession with the series and the characters. *sighs dreamily* Oh, the beauty of it all... makes me sigh, it makes me grit my teeth in frustration, but no matter what, I'll always love FMA and it will ALWAYS be in my top five favorites. And hot damn; I'm all giddy about the movie, as it comes out this year! *SQUEAL!*

There's a MOVIE???!?! *Feels self being sucked into the world of FMA addiction* Oh, man...I beg of you, ladies, keep me in the loop with this one!!!
