I just recently finished watching this series. I was quite impressed with how they balanced humor with the more serious side of the story line. Just they way it flowed and the complexity of it, just amazing!
Now, I have to say the Roy was my favorite. Just...I'm not sure (did I mention I hate making first posts?)
Anyways, how they ended that, anyone else a little frustrated? Feel free to comment!

I wasn't overly pleased with how the anime turned out. I think this is one series which I am a HUGE manga fan than the anime. I mean the manga is still going strong with lots of different characters and a better twist than the anime, whats not to love? Aside of the huge hints of RoyxRiza

(and of course what we see of EdxWinry)
Sooooo....I'm anxious to see how Arakawa is going to end the manga whenever she gets around to it; meaning, is she going to stick to what she allowed them to do to the anime, or will she come up with a different ending. *bites nails*

Shut up, all of you!
I haven't seen beyond what has been shown so far on Adult Swim!
Although any time a movie is made that is part of the story of an anime series, you know that said anime must rock on some level. All the anime movies based on a series that I have heard about have had that relationship with their respective series.
Although I will allow myself to know one thing: Does Ed ever get over his problem with others mentioning the fact that he is vertically challenged, espically compared to his 'little' brother in the large suit of armor?

ed, hehehe. he will never get over his height. At least until it gets he gets even more serious...but...I'll be quiet now...
(And I won't post anything too spoilery cuz that wouldn't be nice to the people just starting the series.)

I love how Ed flips over that EVERYTIME. Makes me giggle. I LOVE Ed, too, he is a pretty awesome character. =) Roy Mustang, hum... he is all right...

You've already -finished- the series? *Stares* I so envy you. How the heck do you guys get ahold of the episodes? Do you have to order from japanese web sites or something? I mean, they don't have the DVDs out in America yet, at least where I know to look . . .
@.@ I swear, I'm always dependent on whatever Adults Swim decides to give out . . . Ahhh! And I really like the series, so far!

We have a store here in Winnipeg; two, in fact: Irben and Oriental Gifts.

My friend just bought the third part to the series; 3-4 discs, I believe.

We're far from finishing the series, I believe, hum.. how many episodes are in it? 52...? I know Inu Yasha has over 100, unless I'm confusing that with damn Naruto. -_-

Really? Are they in english, or Japanese with english subtitles, out of curiousity?
