[Poem] " Kismet "
Posted: Tue Sep 21, 2004 1:03 am
This is dedicated to Wicked, as posted in my journal.
<center>Kismet
He stands among the shadows. Watching.
Always watching.
A protector. Her guardian.
Her lover.
There's a forest.
A velvet cape of green.
Where angels dwell.
Sky eyes and heaven's wings.
But it's raining.
It only rains when angels cry.
The forest drowns in sorrows.
Choking in pain.
Yes, he stands there.
Watching her, a fallen angel...
...trembling, fragil.
Broken.
She's broken, just like the sky.
They cry, they suffer.
They love.
The creatures smile, adoring.
Everything's green, velvet.
She's a traitor.
Her wings fading.
The creatures welcome her.
Yet, heaven cries its loss.
She's bound now.
To this Earth, full of sins.
Full of pain, and suffering.
Beneath it all, she's a godsend.
She'll teach him her ways.
How to love, how to smile.
And he walks near, approaching.
He's just a human, full of sins.
He knows no love.
And he still walks, eyes seeking.
Heaven cries harder still,
Wailing its loss, its void.
A fallen angel, clipped wings.
Loose feathers swirl.
Heavenward they go.
Kissing farewell.
She cries no more.
He hates no more.
Fate has come.
It's merciful, and graceful.
The forest covers them.
Ever velvet in its secrets.
A witness to this union.
Of Heaven and Hell.
