It does appear that their is indeed going to be a third series of it here are a link you may want to look at it is in japanese though

hey man i saw that mission complete one is it a movie also

Is that not Ren from FMP? Fumuffo!?
But the third season will most likely be based upon the two 'End of Day by Day' novels, in which case, Ren won't be in it.
