Sailor Moon live action - sneak peak

Post by freelight01 »

I'm NOT a big fan of Sailor Moon, actually, i'm not a fan, i consider this to be one of the worst graphically produce anime to ever be produce, as well as one of the most navie story lines. However, that is my opinion, and i don't believe that my opinion should mean everyone should think the way as i do, and know for a fact that they don't.

But i do remember a thread that talk of Sailor Moon being played out with real people, and can't find that thread now, but for my love of the blissfulignorance community, i felt i should post this to show that they weren't rumours, and were absolutely true. So all Sailor Moon Fans rejoice, or cringe in horror at will. :bounce:

I'm not sure whether to cringe or not. Live action sailor moon seems iffy...

That's what I thought too Mellie. But honestly, and I too am not a fan of SM, it's good. It's silly, cheesy, sweet, angsty, and has seriously almost brought tears to my eyes. It's good. Several of us are addicted to it.

Actually the original thread for the PGSM (with poll I believe) was in the Off Topic forum and I believe was started by cherryflavored1R. She's nuts for it. ^_____^ If I can find the thread again myself I'll post a link to it.

Thanks Wicked! That helps quite a bit. And now that my duty is done to the blissful society, i must now pray to god to save my soul for promoting this pathetic piece of anime...

I became a huge sailor moon fan on the fifth and final season. The one that never made air on U.S. television....I finally got to watch the final season on Youtube.com During that season, sailor moon became much more mature for its audience. I mean there was actually mature situations going on! I guess thats why it ended before the season aired. Now I;m a big fan of Seiya and Serena (Usagi) I'm sure if u guys just watch the final season you too would grow to finally like what you see. Believe me.

Awwww, I used to love Sailor Moon! But a live action movie is scary... It will probably be overly-cheesy, like Power Rangers. Still, it might prove to be a fun guilty pleasure.

It wasn't a live action movie but a live action series that lasted...26 epidsodes (?). I can't believe it's been so long since it was on. Makes me wish I had burned it to disc.

It was cheesy and it did resemble Power Rangers to an extent. But it was also sweet and angsty and it really did almost bring tears to my eyes. Granted i was going through an emotional time while it was on but still, I did get teary eyed.

Also, some of them boys were *smacks lips* mighty tasty looking. I miss watching it.

ETA: I was wrong on the episode count. Apparently it ran for 43+ episodes and a Special Act the latter of which I don't remember watching.

Can you say eye candy! I remember I watched one episode of SM and my next door neighbor caught me. It wasn't porn or anything but she never lets me forget it. >:)

EYECANDY!

Really there was eyecandy for both sexes in the show. Equal opportunity! XD
