Staring out over the bay a part of him insisted that this wasn't his world. It craved the technology and lights of the world through the portal.
The larger part though was glad to be rid of a world that only brought him suffering. Here he'd found a peace he thought was only a dream.
Clutching the blanket closer around his body he watched pale, blonde woman on his bed. In many ways she reminded him of Relena. Gentle and kind, but with a steel, tempered by pain and loss.
That and the fact that she was stubborn as a mule.
Relena...
He could think of her now without pain and anger. Though it would still be a long time before he ever felt like going back. His place was here now, with the woman whom he'd shared his body, then his soul. He glanced out the window at the boats traversing the harbour and the calling gulls as the swooped out over the water.
Yes...he bore them no grudge. The one she chose could take over. Protecting her was no longer his responsibility.
He started as he felt a pair of arms circle him and her head pressing into her back.
"What're you thinking about?" she asked.
He tilted his head back, feeling the light brush of her hair, "the future..."
"Really," she sounded, surprised. "And what do you see?"
"Me, You," he paused for effect. "And about six or so smaller ones."
"HEERO YUY!" She gave the back of his head a light slap.
He ducked under her arms, swivelling around to scoop her up in his own. She squealed, legs kicking as he dumped back on the bed. Tossing of the blanket he crawled up her body, nibbling at her more sensitive spots.
"Yes, Jaina," he asked pausing over her face.
The sorceress shivered at his touch, before, "Maybe we should start on number one."
He laughed inside as their bodies melded together. Before conscious thought fled him, one was prevalent in his mind.
"I'm home..."

This came about from playing too much Warcraft and writer's block on my other stories (Superposition 3 is already in Beer's hands).
For those who may not know, Jaina is one of the hero characters in Warcraft 3. How's that for obscure?
