I know that it may seem like it at times, but I do not own Gundam Wing. I promise.
To Black Rose: I have never personally talked to you, but have heard that some people aren?t treating you with the respect you deserve.

[The phone is ringing at Relena?s apartment]
Relena had been daydreaming about her approaching wedding, instead of the report she was supposed to be working on. Relena dropped her pen onto the boring report and lunged for the phone, thankful for the legitimate distraction. It was Hilde.
?Hello??
?Relena, this is Hilde. Oh. My. God. It was so cool. He like :::giggles::: and then, oh you won?t believe this part-?
?HILDE! What happened, honey? I take it whatever happened is a good thing, so what is it?!?
?Duo proposed to me! So now Josh and Duo and I can be a real family! Isn?t that marvelous? Honestly, the baby has helped him mature in so many ways.?
Relena smiled. She believed that the baby had given Duo the push, but she also felt that he was just so glad to have Hilde back that he didn?t want to risk losing her again.
?That?s awesome! Congratulations!?
?Yeah. Hey, Relena, I was thinking?wouldn?t it be cool to have a double wedding? You and Heero and me and Duo??
Relena giggled in delight. ?That?s a fabulous idea, Hilde! I love unique weddings.?
And so, the planning began.

The guys, being guys, didn?t really care how the wedding proceeded as long as there was cake and vows. Relena and Hilde purchased matching white, billowing gowns, with spaghetti straps and pearls sewn into the bodice. There was no train to the dresses, and the veils reached all the way down their backs. Sally Po was the maid of honor, and Howard was the best man. Other bridesmaids included Dorothy Catalonia, Catherine, Lucrezia Noin, and Lady Une. Groomsmen included Trowa, Quatre, Wufei, and, a little reluctantly, Milliardo.
The wedding was beautiful, and took place amongst a sea of white ribbons and flowers. It was a fairy tale wedding, only with two princesses instead of one. Each bridesmaid wore an elegant powder blue cowl neck dress and carried a small bouquet of daisies, and the brides carried a bouquet of daisies and red and yellow roses. Heero had a red rose pinned to his tux, Duo had a yellow rose. The music played, the ?I do?s? were said, the vows were exchanged, and then they were on to the reception.
~*~
Upon arrival, Relena immediately noticed the lack of yellow roses in the centerpieces. There were red roses for her, and daisies, but no yellow roses for Hilde. She glanced over at her fellow bride and saw the shock pass over her face. She grabbed Heero?s keys and Hilde?s hand and whispered in her ear, ?Come on!? The two women in white raced out the door to Heero?s car. It was a tight fit in the sports car, what with the billowy bottoms of the dresses, but they managed. Relena raced the car to the nearest flower shop, which was luckily just a few miles away and still open.
The shopkeeper?s face registered disbelief at the sight of two slightly disheveled brides bursting into her shop before erupting in laughter. Relena slammed her hands on the counter and said, ?My name is Relena Yuy, and this is my friend, Hilde Maxwell. As you have probably noticed, we got married today. However, the yellow roses were missing from our reception centerpieces. We need at LEAST 65 yellow roses. Have you got any??
The smirk vanished from the shopkeeper?s face as she nodded. ?Luckily for you girls, I just got a shipment in today. I?ll see how many I have.?
The wait seemed interminable for the young women at the counter as the lady hunted around the back stock room. Finally, though, the flower merchant emerged with a smile. ?If you?ll pull your car around to the back, we?ll load them up. For the sake of not splitting up a dozen, I?ll give you 72 roses. Here?s a bill; pay me when you have the time, okay??
~*~
Back at the reception, however, things weren?t going so well. Everyone wanted to know where the brides were! It wasn?t exactly possible to hide the fact that they were gone. Duo and Heero were getting a little flustered. Seeing their plight, Sally, Noin, and Lady Une took control of the situation. Lady Une stepped up to the microphone and said, ?The brides will be here shortly. Please just get in line for food and we?ll save the cake until they get here. They won?t have gone far; they?re already married, right?? Sally and Noin began directing people into a line in front of the caterers.
Heero looked around. Suddenly, his eye caught the centerpieces and he saw what Relena had seen twenty minutes ago. He nudged Duo, and Duo let out a relieved sigh. ?The flowers! THAT?S why they left. I thought they were embarrassed to be seen with us!? While Duo laughed at his own remark, Heero only acknowledged his friend with a slight smile.
~*~
All those roses were hard to fit into the car, but the three women finally succeeded. There were roses in the small trunk, back seat, and even the cup holders. ?Heero?s car is going to smell like roses for a week at least!? Relena commented. Hilde laughed and replied with, ?Well, step on it! We don?t want his precious car to smell feminine for TOO long!?
And the seemingly sweet former queen DID step on it. As cars got in her way, the words spewing out of Relena?s mouth reminded Hilde of Duo. Hilde?s eyebrows shot up, but she remained silent, a grin tugging at her mouth.
The reception-goers anxiety had dulled to a relatively quiet murmur as the guests got their food. However, the peace was not to last for long! Relena and Hilde quite literally burst into the reception hall, arms full of yellow roses. By this time, the girls? hair was in disarray, their veils left in the car and long forgotten. The bridesmaids and groomsmen, led by Heero and Duo, raced as fast as they could out to Heero?s car, which Relena had left at the curb, to get the rest of the roses. Relena and Hilde, meanwhile, quickly went around to all of the tables, placing a few yellow roses in each vase. As the rest of the roses were carried in, the rest of the vases were filled with cheery yellow roses.
The two tousled brides stepped up to the microphone. Hilde spoke. ?Thank you for coming. The reason for the mad dash for yellow roses was that the red roses were for Heero and Relena, and the yellow ones were for Duo and myself. Thank you for your patience! Enjoy your meal.?
The evening flew by; the cake was cut, the dance was held. Hilde and Duo had the first dance, followed by Heero and Relena. Then the floor was opened to all and they danced the night away.
A/N: Finished at last!!!!! Hurray!!!!! Thank you to all of those who supported my story, whether you replied or not. As you can guess, ?they all lived happily ever after?. Hehehehe. I find it extremely ironic that my epilogue is the longest chapter of my story. Luv ya! (((LIZ)))
