ok, here I go, this is my VERY FIRST FANFIC EVER! So please be nice. I am not sure if I am going to keep the title but I can't think of a better one right now. There are a few things I have to work on in here, like names of things, but i am trying my best to be creative. and I sort of borrowed of few things, like EX, I had writers bolck and the only thing came to mind was that from that Candidate for Goddess thing, forgive me.

But ok, i do not own Gundam wing or anything, others wise I would be rich. OK I hope you enjoy, tell me if you like it!

RED WING REBELLION

Prologue:

Odin took off his helmet as he climbed off his bike. He groggily rubbed the remaining sleep out of his eyes, working at 5 in the morning was no way to start off the day. He searched his pockets for the shop keys to open the glass doors to the popular little restaurant. When he finally turned open the lock he walked in the back and flipped on the lights, causing him to wince at the brightness.

?Damn, they seem to get brighter every morning.? He muttered.

He began the basic procedures, turning on the huge grill, the ovens, starting the coffee, all the usual things he did when it was his turn to open the restaurant. He walked behind the counter and flipped on the small T.V. It buzzed for a few seconds and the picture appeared on the screen. But Odin was to only be blown away by the sheer volume pouring from it. Music came blasting out of the small set. He thought about who were the last people there last night and it suddenly made sense.

?Why does Jake and Kara insist on playing this so loud! I must be loosing my cool, for being to jumpy this morning.?

After he turned down the volume to a reasonable level, he switched the station to the news. With everything going on the news stations had been playing nonstop. Since the war, nothing had been good news. Odin began to turn away, but just then a man appeared on the screen with his latest report.

?This is breaking news. It seems last night an EX base was hit, along with a supply unit.?

Odin turned to face the screen.

?Finally, some recognition.? A small grin began to cross his face for a second.

?Are they reporting on what we did last night?? A female voice asked from behind the counter.

Odin didn?t turn to look but just simply answered in a low tone. ?Yes?

?Well it?s about damn time I would say. After everything we have done it seems like nothing to them.? She answered sarcastically.

?Being noticed isn?t exactly the greatest thing, when you are in a rebel force.? He said.

?Yeah, yeah, but how much you want to bet they?ll say the military had some secret covert operation and infiltrated it, or?.?

Odin put a finger to his mouth to indicate silence. He turned the screen and she leaned over the counter. A reporter was on the screen with the base that was crushed in the background.

?And behind me is the rubble from last night?s events. No one is quite sure what happened, but rumors have it that the military had something to do with it . . . .?

?SEE?? the girl interjected

?The military is not releasing and information at this time. But some witnesses to the event say that it was not the military. Some of them simply said it was an accident, that perhaps the ammunition barracks had been ignited. Others had quite a different answer.?

This caught Odin?s and the girl?s attention.

?I spoke with a few of the hostages this morning and here is what they had to say.?

The screen split to an interview that had already taken place.

?I was in the cell, and I heard all sorts of gunfire going off, and shouting of orders. I heard a loud explosion, and then the lights went off for a second. But my door flung open and someone ran in and pulled me out and to safety.
Reporter: And was this and EX soldier?
No it wasn?t, it was someone all dressed in black.
Reporter: All in black that is all, can you remember anything else?
Yes on their back were two red wings.?

Odin?s eyes widened. And he looked at Kara who was now looking a bit pale.

?There goes the neighborhood.? Kara said, while throwing her hands in the air and standing up.

?From now on we have to be more cautious.? Odin replied in a lower tone then usual.

?I wonder if the others have seen this report.? Kara asked.

?I bet they will be playing it all day, now that they have some mysterious person saving the day. We have to tread carefully, because they might declare all out war again, and end this cease fire.? Odin explained, with his eyes closed in concentration.

?As if they aren?t going to do it! Both sides only agreed to this so called cease fire because they were getting no where. Right now all they are doing is building up their power again. We have to stop it before it gets unleashed. Or all the innocent people are going to be the ones that have to pay the price.? Kara said raising her voice drastically.

?I know, we?ll do something, but we will have to wait till the others arrive. We?ll have a meeting tonight. We can?t help it now let?s just get this place up and running.? Odin said while opening the freezer and started picking out all the things he needed. He took out his bandana and tied it around his head, to keep his unruly hair out of his way.

?O.K. whatever you say Odin.? Kara tied an apron on, threw her hair up, and began taking the chairs off the tables.

The day had been the same as usual. Busy, they were always busy. This small town wouldn?t seem like much of anything, until you look underneath the surface. Almost this entire town was refugees, people looking to escape the war. After the incident the whole galaxy it seems was blasted into chaos. People feared this new race of humans. Often called EX?s, these were humans with altered genetics. They were simply different so people feared them. They were considered superior to humans, stronger, faster and more intelligent. To ease these fears, Ms. Relena Dorlin urged people to not fear, but accept these people, to love them, to live with in peace. This seemed to work for a short period, but hostilities rose with the rise of an EX rebellion. Explaining that they were constantly under the microscope the EX leader arose from the frenzy, Commander Batailion. He was a marvelous speaker, and seemed to hit the hearts of all his fellow EX comrades. One speech that stuck fear into Untied Nation was, ?If the humans are taught not to trust us, then let us be untrustworthy.? With these words the war began, and the EX?s were hit first. The most populated city of EX residents was completely obliterated. Ashamed Ms. Relena stepped down from her position and a war council took her place. She had never heard of any authorization for such a cold hearted attack, but a coup had been behind the whole thing. After the incident they found their chance and took their positions in the war. Relena had tried her best to stop this madness, but the EX?s took their opportunity to attack. Towns smashed, cities crumbled, families separated. Hopelessness was setting in. The former Gundam pilots had to choose a side, though neither looked promising, they sided with the untied nations. All joined the effort except for one, Heero Yuy was missing among them. Relena left looking for him, somehow she knew this would never be resolved unless he was there. But was he even alive?
