/So you all know. When these guys are in miniature form. They are nothing like the SD gundams, those things are hideous. They?re gundams, only fun-sized. /
For the techno fans on this site, I just couldn?t resist. It?s not cheating, it?s using good lines. The Alex is my favorite gundam of U.C. 0079 and I couldn?t resist giving it a part. The other gundams are my customized suits that I dreamt up myself. There was one thing I didn?t like about GW, and that was it had no funnels. Since this gundam universe has neural interface technology, I was able to introduce funnels. I am a fan of funnels? And I must admit to using a little of Big O, but the design is so perfect. I did mostly create the fighters on my own. This story is like hitting a gold mine. A couple historical things have been changed, but other than that, this is awesome. One night I was about to go to bed when this simple question came to my mind. The question was; What if there was a sixth faction?

Prelude?
It is the year After Colony 084. A mighty empire of Earth stands upon failing legs? The king of this empire daydreams about the past generation while his enemies march into the capital meeting the last resistance of its defenses. He dreams of a world his father had described to him. A world of chaos and destruction being brought to order by his kingdom. Almost two centuries ago, the nations of Earth had reached its peak in colonizing space. The last cluster of colonies was completed and billions of people lived in space. Over the next hundred years, the colonies formed their own governments and rebelled against the nations of Earth. Both sides massed forces to fight one another. The nations of Earth and the colonies fought against one another. Some nations fought their fellow nations on Earth while combating the colonies. Other nations allied with some of the colonies and fought other colonies. This world war became a wrestling free-for-all. In the midst of the fighting, a new force emerged? Several nations of Earth untied their forces to be as one nation. This nation had one leader, and proceeded to capture the other nations of Earth. It was successful, but at the same time? the colonies had united and were preparing to strike. At the turn of the century, the largest battle was about to take place when something happened?
This war had taken a terrible toll on humanity. The shear loss of military life was enormous and everyone was feeling the strain of this war. The new nation? nicknamed the Nation of Light, declared a truths with the united colonies. They later reached a peace that created a border between Earth and the colonies. Accept for the space in close orbit, the colonies had control of space that was split up between themselves. A new calendar was created to show that the colonies were no longer colonies. The calendar was called? After Colony?
The Nation of Light controlled Earth and began licking its wounds, but? they were also preparing to strike. The peace was just a chance recover from the brutal war. They began developing a new technology that was superior to the space fighters. These weapons were not mobile suits, but they were M.A.E?. (Mobile Assault Exoskeletons) nicknamed? Mobile Fighters. These fighters were smaller versions of the mobile suit controlled by remote with joint sticks, foot pedals, and voice commands. They were being developed on the drawing board when the colonies realized what they were doing. The Nation of Light was planning to attack with these fighters. They launched a preemptive strike and the Nation of Light launched a counter attack, but colonies had a surprise of their own? they had developed beam cannon technology and swiftly defeated the counter attack. In less than a month, the Nation of Light was in ruins, and the capital was all that was left. The Alliance forces ran in pummeling everything in their path. The king would not surrender and took the designs for the Mobile Fighters and gave them to his son. The son escaped the massacre of his family and went to the colonies. He blended in with the populace and vanished from his enemies. Until he would rise again?
The year, After Colony 195? the final war fought between the Earth? and space colonies? had come to an end? eliminating the boundaries between nations. The colonies and Earth? had chosen to coexist? thus giving birth? to the Earth Sphere Unified Nation? and the hope for everlasting peace?
Chapter 1?
It had been a hard day for Relena. She had visited three colony clusters and gave hour-long speeches there. She was tired? she had had dinner at four separate colonies and returned to Earth. Relena couldn?t even walk strait as she went into her bedroom. She thought she had food poisoning, but then her vision started to blur. She collapsed on the bed and struggled not to pass out. Something wasn?t right here? she had been drugged? She began drifting in and out of consciousness when the doors opened. Her body started feeling num as a figure approached her. With a burst of strength Relena jumped and kicked the figure below the belt hoping it was a man. The figure crouched a little and Relena put up her hands like a boxer. This figure began to multiply and started walking toward her. She backed away barely able to stand. She tripped over her foot and fell to the side and out a five-story window. She was unable to control her descent let along trying to stay conscious. Suddenly? she stopped in mid air? and started moving back up. She couldn?t hold herself anymore and she passed out?
In a dark room? a man presses a switch on a control board. A sign blinks, ?Autopilot.? On a huge view screen, a first person view of flying across the tree line with the occasional house below on the ground. The outline of Relena?s arm is in view? as well as another dark figure flying as a wingman. Two men step down from their platforms and took off their helmets. One crouches over himself saying, ?I thought she was supposed to be passed out.? ?Didn?t you use the transmitter?? ?Ya? they said the transmission would trigger a reaction in the chemicals and knock her out in seconds.? ?Why didn?t it work?? ?That?s the question my chops have been asking me!? A voice came from above saying, ?According to these scans, there is a mixture of alcohol and other chemicals in her system that slowed the reaction.? ?Is she unconscious now?? ?Yes, she is.? ?That?s all that matters now.? ?That?s not the only thing. That hurt! She must have broken her leg doing that.?
In a joining room, three figures were watching their progress. They were sitting at a table monitoring the view screen. On one side of the table, were Dakim and Marimaya, and the other side? a man sitting in the shadows, his identity unknown. Dakim said, ?That was a close call.? The man responded, ?That was a small hitch. We should not have any problems now.? Marimaya said, ?The question remains why if these fighters are superior to the gundams, then how was it defeated by some rich girl?? ?These fighters were not designed to handle this kind of mission. They were designed to fight and destroy.? Dakim said, ?That is understandable. You will have the full support of our forces? your majesty.?
Back in the emptiness of space, Heero and Duo were riding a shuttle to Earth when a call came from Noin. Heero sat back sleeping in his chair while Duo flew the shuttle. The screen came on and Noin said, ?This is preventer Fire calling, please respond.? Duo tapped the control and Noin came on the screen. Duo said, ?Noin? what is it?? ?Relena?s been kidnapped!? Duo jumped his in chair shock and said, ?What? How could that have happened?? Heero sat up in his chair and said, ?Obviously? someone doesn?t agree with the new peace. Hey Noin, what happened?? ?Relena had returned from the colonies and told her servants that she was going to bed. One of the servants saw something move upstairs and went to investigate it. When she got up there, she saw a robot walking down the hall?? Duo said, ?A robot?? ?That?s what she said? before she died?? Heero raised his eyebrow and said, ?What killed her?? ?Severe trauma to the head, the paramedics couldn?t save her in time. They said that she got hit with a fifty-pound blunt object that hit ten miles per hour. She was strong to last as long as she did.? Duo said, ?Alright, we?ll be there in no time.? ?There was one other thing.? Heero looked up at her and said, ?What is it?? ?Many people at home said they saw two lights in the sky flying really fast.? Heero thought for a minute and then said, ?Thanks Noin, I need to get in touch with someone before we head to Earth. We won?t be long.? ?Alright you two, good luck.?
Trowa had finished his circus act and was cleaning up. Catherine always stressed keeping the place tidy? and he was assigned to mop up duty? literally. That?s when Quatre ran into the stable. He looked around and spotted Trowa in suspenders and boots shoveling crap? a little chore Catherine made him do. Quatre couldn?t help but smile at the site of Trowa? the pilot of the gundam suit Heavyarms custom? in all his glory, reduced to shoveling elephant crap. Trowa leaned up and saw Quatre. He smiled and said, ?Want to join me?? Quatre smiles and says, ?I think I?ll pass. Listen, I?ve got some bad news.? Trowa put the shovel down and stepped out of the elephant cage. He locked the door and said, ?What is it?? ?Trowa? Miss Relena?s been kidnapped.? ?Great. So I guess there?s a new threat.? ?Ya. I know how you feel.? ?Well, if we?re gonna beat em, then we better get moving. You do have means of transportation?? ?Of course I do.? Trowa and Quatre walked outside where Catherine had been ease dropping. Quatre and Trowa passed right by and she said, ?You?re going to go fight again, aren?t you.? ?Ya? Miss Relena?s been kidnapped.? Catherine walked up to him and cupped his head. A tear fell from her eye and she said, ?Just come back in one piece, ok?? Trowa hugged her and kissed her on the forehead. He stepped back and looked at her? the look was enough to reassure her and she went inside. And with that, Quatre and Trowa were on their way?
Sally arrived with Lady Une and boarded Noin?s ship. They met and discussed the situation and went on their way to Earth to join Heero and Duo. On the way, they found a damaged Nataku floating in space. They towed Nataku and pulled Wufei in resuscitating him. Wufei awoke, his vision was blurred for a moment, but he could hear, ?He?s coming around?? said a figure leaning over him. ?Wufei? Wufei, its Sally? can you hear me?? Wufei?s vision came into focus and saw Sally leaning over him. Wufei sat up and said, ?What am I doing here?? Lady Une said, ?Your gundam was damaged and floating in space. We found you barely alive.? Wufei sat up and said, ?I barely managed to escape? I needed to warn Heero and the others.? Noin said, ?What?s that?? Wufei sighed and said, ?I thought their goals was noble, but they proved me wrong. Have you ever heard of a man named Dakim Barton?? The girls thought for a minute and didn?t know. Wufei said, ?He survived the past space war and was planning to continue operation meteor. He and Trieze?s daughter, Marimaya Cush Renada, was going to rule after Dakim conquered Earth.? They all gasped at the sound of Marimaya being Trieze?s daughter. I believed in what they was doing and joined them.? Sally shouted, ?You did what?? ?I do not accept Relena Peacecraft?s ways. Her belief that peace is attained by throwing away weapons and confining soldiers is wrong. Marimaya was to start a new area to change all that.? Sally said through her gritted teeth, ?You traitor.? Lady Une said, ?Enough! We have more important things to deal with. Noin, get us to the nearest colony so we can head to Earth.? Noin nodded her head and went to the control room glaring at Wufei. Sally sat back against the wall and said, ?I?ll keep an eye on Wufei? he?s a security risk.? Lady Une sighed and walked back into the control room and rested. The ship positioned itself for the colonies, and took off?
Chapter 2?
In the palace, police officials walk around the hall looking for evidence. One of the officers says, ?Over here!? The detective walked up and cleverly says, ?What?? ?Sir, I found scuffmarks on the wall.? ?Scuffmarks?? ?Ya, looks like they?re metal scuffmarks.? ?Is there enough for a sample?? The officer nodded his head and took a sample. The officer said, ?If I may say so, this looks like a fairly new metal. Defiantly a titanium or neo-titanium alloy? or even that gundamterium alloy stuff.? ?How can you tell?? ?The number of metal particles, the color, texture?? ?Are you a mineralogist?? ?I do a little research in it.?
In Relena?s room, a man in the shadows ease drops on the conversation. He gets up and investigates the room and looks for clues of his own. He walks to the window and examined the frame. The window was fairly large and he noticed that the frame was bent into the floor and the floor around it looked like a crater. He leaned closer and as he did, the light revealed his face. It was Zechs? he saw the metal scuffmarks on the flattened frame as well and touched it. Whatever did this had a big foot and weighed a ton. He stood up and looked for other craters in the floor. They were in front of the bed and seemed to be the shape of two front feet. He noticed that the feet were unusually square. The servant wasn?t exaggerating when the nurse spoke of a robot in the house. This confirmed Zechs? worse fears? he?s back?
In Zechs? early childhood memories, as Milliardo Peacecraft, he remembers a slightly older brother. He was also told of myth? an empire of Earth and how it fell two centuries ago. He remembered this box that he always carried. He managed to get a look at once and saw an image of a Robot. He saw a bunch of numbers and letters he didn?t understand until he later realized they were schematics. A few years after Relena was born, he vanished. Zechs didn?t know anything more, he was told his brother had run away because he wasn?t happy, but he knew otherwise. Zechs didn?t know what this long lost brother was planning, but he was going to stop him.
Chapter 3?
Relena woke from her sleep? These guys were rude. They had the gull to put her in a jail cell, its not like she was going to try to escape anything. When she got off her cell bed, Dakim and Marimaya walked in. Relena straitened up and firmly walked up to them and said, ?Why have you brought me here? What am I doing in this prison cell?? Dakim said, ?I apologize Miss Peacecraft, there was a mistake in sleeping arrangements. As long as you do not create problems for us you can stay in the other room.? Relena nodded her head and they walked out. Walking down the hall Relena asked, ?Why have you abducted me?? Dakim said, ?That is not for us to disclose yet.? She stopped, turned around and said, ?Why, aren?t you in charge?? Marimaya said, ?I am in second command, this is my right hand man, I answer to his majesty now.? Dakim stepped in front of Relena and said, ?His majesty is busy, but will be with you shortly, please move on.? Relena turned and walked on. They made it to the room were Relena was to stay. This was defiantly nicer. For one thing, it had carpet. The room was designed for work. A comfortable bed was the only thing out of place. She noticed the tracks and realized the bed slides out of the wall. Around the room were small tables and a small buffet. Wow! This room had a buffet? a coffee maker with all the extras that you could add. A small table next to the coffee machine had a window that lead to a kitchen were the food was prepared. When you first walk into this room, directly in front of you is a desk with four seats. Each part of the desk was customized for Marimaya, Dakim, a man that would be six three, and Relena... The two walked into the room and Relena said, ?How long will you hold me here?? Dakim escorted Mautymeia out and said, ?His majesty will be with you shortly.? With that, they walked out and closed the door. Relena watched the doors for a second and started to explore the room.
Besides Zechs, Heero and Duo were the closest to the planet. They started to prepare for reentry when a broadcast came on the screen. A man came appeared? he had moderately brown hair and bright, sky blue eyes. Other then those features, his physical construction was similar to the likeness of Zechs and Relena. His uniform was more of what you would expect from a general?s design, having medals, gold buttons, and dark gray uniform. He defiantly had a royal air about him. You could straiten a level on his shoulders and along his head. He stood tall with a proud show of nobility as he made his statement?
?We the new government of Earth hereby wish to declare our independence from the Earth Sphere Unified Nation. This new nation had once existed over three centuries ago and had ruled this planet. My name is Daniel Peacecraft. I am the son king Peacecraft. Because of my family line proven by genetic testing, I have claimed the right to sit on the throne of the Sanc kingdom? where I rule from this day forth and usher in a new era for humanity??
Duo stared at the screen witch returned to the static picture with his jaw dropped. He looked at Heero who had a blank look on his face. Duo put his hand on Heero?s shoulder and said, ?Heero are you ok?? ?I?m fine.? ?Why you lookin like that?? ?I know that man.? ?How do you know him?? ?He?s Relena?s stepbrother.? ?Her stepbrother!? ?He disappeared a long time ago when Relena was a few years old. I doubt she even knows about him.? ?You two are the same age. How could you know about him?? ?In my training, I was prepared for any situation. They told me about him and showed me a picture. He was only a child, but he was the only person I ever knew with those eyes.? ?Ya, I know, its like he put light bulbs behind them. I also heard of a story that was considered a myth. A nation that ruled all of Earth was planning to attack the colonies when their plans were foiled. The nation was crushed and the family massacred. The son, only known as Ben, disappeared before the family was killed. Despite a massive search, the boy was never found and was presumed dead. After that incident, the entire history of the Nation of Light was quietly swept under the rug. By this day and age, everybody forgot that it really existed.? ?I think I remember something about it. I remember the Nation of Light was making a new weapon when they were destroyed.? Hearing that, Heero?s eyes widened. He tried to talk through his stunned silence, but he couldn?t. He finally shouted, ?STOP THE SHIP!? It scared Duo so bad that he pulled back the wheel and had stuck out his foot as if he were trying to stop a car. When the shuttle came to a stop, Duo turned to Heero and said, ?Hey! What?s the big idea scaring me like that!? Heero caught his breath and said, ?The scientists are at L2, right?? ?Ya?? ?Set a coarse.? ?What about Relena?? ?We?ll have to take care of it later.? ?Do you want me send the others a massage we?re not headin to Earth?? ?Tell them to head for L2 as well.? ?Ok, I hope you know what your doing.? The shuttle turned away from Earth and blasted toward L2.
On Earth, former Alliance and Magunac forces rebuild for an assault on the Sanc kingdom witch now controls Earth and the Sanc colony. While most of the weapons have been destroyed, the process isn?t complete and the remaining troops are arming for battle. Rashid and his men, along with Quatre and Trowa, watch as the mobile suits one by one? activate. Rashid looks at Abdul and says, ?Time till we reach the station?? ?Thirty minutes.? Trowa saw a message come on the screen. He poked Quatre and pointed at the message. Quatre saw the message and said, ?Rashid, we have a message. Its from Heero.? Rashid read the message and raised his eyebrow. He said, ?Why L2?? Quatre started to think when Trowa said, ?The gundam developers are there.? Rashid said, ?Why would Heero head to see the gundam developers?? Quatre said, ?I don?t know.?
Chapter 4?
Relena had watched the statement made to the Earth sphere. The mans eyes seemed so familiar like it was a memory that was right off the top of head and yet can?t remember. Staring at those eyes on the frozen picture made Relena think about the myth and if it was true. Those eyes were driving her crazy, she almost knew who he was. She continued to stare at the picture when he walked in? She turned and saw the real thing? He smiled and said, ?I?m glad to see you have some memory of me.? Relena backed away and said, ?Who are you?? ?My name is Daniel? Daniel Peacecraft.? ?Peacecraft? You said that you had claim to the throne. What relation are you?? ?I?m your stepbrother?? ?What? How can you be my stepbrother?? ?I was born of your father, but I had a different mother.? ?I never knew my father had two wives.? ?My mother was his first wife. She was descended from a boy named Ben?? ?That sounds familiar.? ?When Ben was ten, his entire family was killed in a war. That family was at the head of the Nation of Light?? ?I was told that was only a myth.? ?The boy escaped to the colonies were he matured and took a wife. They gave birth to a daughter and when they died, the daughter inherited this.? He picked up what seemed to be a jack in the box. He twisted the handle back and forth like working a combination and a jack came out. He pulled the handle and the jack went down in the box and the surface opened up. A projector came out and pointed over the edge. He aimed it at the wall and pushed a button. The projector displayed a man?s face. He didn?t look like Daniel until Relena saw the eyes. She knew right away he was his child. The message said:
?Hello Ben, I?m sorry things turned out the way they did. The colonies were never supposed to be like this. They were never supposed to be independent. Our people were too clumsy and we were destroyed for it. You survived? and it is you who will reclaim our glory again. You will take this message to your children, and your children?s children, until we can rise again and restore this planet. To your children Ben, a message that I have prepared? I can?t begin to tell you the importance of bringing this kingdom back to life. Let me make one thing clear for you? no matter how good things may seem? humanity will never survive as long as it continues without us? I have schematics that will help in your battle. I wish you good luck. And remember? as long as mankind exists? there will always be battles??
The projector displayed the schematics of the M.A.E. before it was shut off. Relena just stared at the wall and said, ?So the story is true?? ?I have been given a mission? I am carrying out that mission.? ?A mission of destruction!? ?Wars only last a small amount of time. Once its over, we recover and move on.? ?A war is not something you take lightly.? ?Your right, its not, but accepting it or not, war refines man. You are right though? there is a time where it needs to end.? ?You expect this to be the finale war?? ?Yes? I do? at lest for a very long time. I have no illusions of an eternal kingdom.? Relena started to get frustrated with this man. She got firm with him and said, ?Why have you abducted me?? ?To serve one maybe two purposes. The first is to serve as a hostage in case I?m faced with a difficult situation. The second? I hope? is after this is over? you would be queen.? ?Are you crazy?? ?I?m not asking you to be my wife? that would be crazy? you would simply be a queen. You would practically hold the role you have now. Accept you would have to answer to me.? ?And if I don?t?? ?Then you won?t be queen, but whatever you want to be? I will help you? if you don?t want my help, then so be it.? ?Very well. I?ll be leaving then.? As Relena walked out, Daniel grabbed her arm and said, ?Not until you have performed your first duty to your king.? He put Relena back in the room and closed the door. As Relena walked to the desk, the floor shook and she fell to the floor.
Daniel stumbled into the control room and called to Dakim saying, ?What?s happening?? ?We are under attack! Look!? Daniel looked out the monitor at an army of Alliance and Magunac suits approaching his castle. Marimaya ran to Daniel and said, ?What do we do?? Daniel chucked at the large force and said, ?Mobilize the fighters.? Dakim hits the intercom and says, ?This is Dakim, prepare to mobilize the Serpents!? Daniel leaned over Dakim and said, ?Belay that! Mobilize the M.A.E. now!? ?He turned the intercom off and said, ?If you only fight fire with fire, you the make flames worse! Your Serpents are only backups.?
In a huge underground room, an army of men head to their platforms. Through a series of cables and connections, you stand on shoes that are attached to suspension wires as well as computer wires. A small weight strapped to the back is attached to suspension cables. The metal shoes clamp onto your feet while you fit your helmet and weight. When the helmet is turned on, it links to a neural interface that controls weapons, thrust, and sensors. A suit restricts movements to the limits of the fighter and applies gravity, centrifugal force, and tactile information. (Meaning if a guy loses an arm, he feels the pain of it.) The rest of the men follow, and the army marches to fight the approaching forces?
At L2, Quatre and Trowa arrive at the colony in the terminal were they met Heero, Duo, and the others. Trowa greeted the girls while Quatre went up to Heero. Quatre said, ?So why have we come to see the gundam developers?? Heero raised his arms and said, ?Everybody, please give me your attention?? Everybody turned and faced Heero and Duo said, ?Ok Heero, what?s this all about?? ?Is everybody familiar with the myth about the Nation of Light?? They nodded their heads and continued listening. ?What you don?t know is that the boy named Ben had a weapon that was being designed before mobile suits. When I was being prepared for war, I had doc. J. design this weapon just in case. He has the used latest technology to create these weapons. We are here to get them.? The others had questions, but they decided to wait until after they saw the weapons.
At doc. J?s. building, the others met and went inside. The gundam developers were all there and had been living their lives rather normally. Heero walked over doc. J. and said, ?Doc. J., I need the special weapons?? Doc. J. nodded his head and guided everyone to a door. When he opened the door, they could see stairs that lead down into a huge basement. When they went down, they saw the platforms for using the M.A.E. Quatre inspected them and said, ?What are these for?? Heero said, ?For these?? He turned on a light that revealed the fighters. The gundam pilots walked up to their fighters witch were miniature versions of the gundams. Heero walked up to Wing 0 and looked at it in the eye. Doc. J. walked up and said, ?They?re not ready yet, but they will be in a few hours.? Noin said, ?What about us?? Doc. J. said, ?We anticipated that you wanted to help so we created M.A.E. that are customized for you.? Lady Une said, ?What?s a M.A.E.?? Heero said, ?Mobile assault exoskeletons.? Dou said, ?Catchy.? The scientists walked over to the wall and turned on another light revealing another set of M.A.E. Noin spotted a custom Taurus suit. Doc. J. pointed at the M.A.E. next to it and said, ?This one we nicknamed the Alex. Wrist mounted machine guns, beam sabers, beam rifle, shield, and like all the other fighters? its made with gundamterium alloy. Sally rubbed her chin and said, ?I see. I think I?ll take that one.? Doc. J. pointed to the next fighter and said, ?This is Sniper Gundam. Active cloak, I field, (Beam deflection field?), shoulder and head mounted machine guns, wrist mounted missile launchers, beam saber, long range beam rifle capable of firing one mile, and the shield is designed to fire beams through.? /Sniper Gundam has a body like Deathscythe accept for the horns. The shoulders were moderately sized with big thrusters to launch upwards. / Lady Une said, ?That?s the one for me.? Wufei looked his Nataku over and said, ?Excuse me doctor J., Nataku looks different.? Doc. J. smiled and said, ?Because you are a martial artist, we given you a second beam saber. A beam spear. Heero said, ?Get them loaded and take it Earth immediately.? Noin walked up to the Taurus when she noticed a Tallgeese in the shadows. She walked over to the corner and said, ?What is this?? Doc. J. smiled and said, ?We got a special order for that??
A while later, the ship launched off toward Earth and towards the most difficult challenge ever to face the gundam pilots. Aboard the bridge, Duo was watching the com systems at Noin?s request. Quatre walked up and said, ?Any word from our forces on Earth?? Duo leaned his head and said, ?No.?
The ship made it through the atmosphere and went through the clouds. Everybody stood on the bridge while the ship hovered above were the battle took place. They looked around and only saw a few erratic lights. Duo magnified the image to see who won. As soon as the image was on the screen, they all saw who won. All scattered across the ground, were the corpse like bodies of the Magunac and Alliance forces that lay broken across the ground. The suits that were intact had gapping holes in the middle while surrounded with the parts of the suits that exploded. Noin watched as the ship flew by. But then? she spotted? a white suit that had been torn apart. She gasped and said, ?Wait! That?s Zechs!? Lady Une put her hand on her shoulder and said, ?He?s probably dead now?? In a fit of rage she knocked Une?s hand away and shouted, ?No!?
Just then, the ship landed a few miles away from the battlefield. The scientists had brought the mobile suits as well as the fighters and Noin flew away in her Taurus to rescue Zechs. Noin sit in her seat breathing hard, she was going to get Zechs even if she died rescuing him.
Daniel brought Relena into the large control room where Marimaya soldiers were at the workstations. He seated her in-between Marimaya and himself. Daniel sat down and said, ?Relena, this is Marimaya Cush Renada, the daughter of Treize Cush Renada.? Marimaya and Dakim explained their story and how they compromised with Daniel. Daniel relaxed in his seat until a soldier said, ?Excuse me sir, we have an unidentified mobile suit approaching.? Daniel leaned forward and said, ?What type of mobile suit is it?? ?It?s a Taurus.? Daniel set back and sighed saying, ?Launch the fighters? tell to be on their guard, they may be more out there.?
Noin made it to the Tallgeese and opened the hatch. Inside, Zechs lay unconscious. Noin pushed him around saying, ?Zechs! Zechs! Wake up!? Zechs started to come around and looked up saying, ?Noin?? Noin got teary eyed and said, ?Oh Zechs? are you ok?? Zechs said, ?Ya? Noin look out!? Noin turned around and a dark figure stood in the door of his cockpit. It pointed a gun in her face and said through an optical voice, ?See ya.? Noin hit the gun but didn?t move it. The fighter started to pull the trigger when it was knocked out of the cockpit and all Noin heard was a voice quickly fading in the distance. Into view came Heavyarms half-clown face. She smiled and said, ?Trowa!? As the other fighters approached, Heavyarms raised its enormous gantlines and fired. As Noin carried Zechs out, she saw Sandrock and Deathscythe coming in. Noin jumped into her Taurus and started it up. As soon as she turned it on, her suit was knocked to the ground. They?re were nothing but dark blurs everywhere. Taurus stood up and started to retreat. They all took off and the fighters pursued.
They made it to an abandoned city where they could escape in the skyscrapers. Heavyarms made it first and tried to give the others cover fire. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn?t hit a single fighter. They all dodged his guns and even saw a few jump off the bullets. Quatre was slashing away, but he wasn?t hitting anything. Duo was getting frustrated with them and sent out a shockwave? but missed. That?s when they saw the fighters. There were different models. One model was a heavyset type. It had a bulky body with one gantline in its chest, small middle arms that attached to large lower arms, these arms were half as big as the fighter and were used as beam cannons. These fighters were made with gundamterium alloy and it was thick like Sandrock?s armor. The next was a more agile type that had a beam rifle designed to pierce armor, optional rocket launcher, (ten rounds), twin gantlines, heavy beam rifle, and beam saber. The beam sabers are designed like Epyon?s saber so they can increase their sizes. The finale type was equipped with large hands and hyper hammers on the back of their arms, brass knuckles, or in this case, neo-titanium knuckles, beam saber, heat fists, and wrist mounted beam cannons. The fighters started to gain the advantage when Wing 0 and a slightly repaired Nataku appeared. Wing 0 flew up into the air got out the buster rifle. He aimed it at the advancing forces he spotted him. They gathered together and Heero fired. The others started to run away and a huge explosion filled the view screen. Relena jumped out of her seat and cried, ?Heero!? Heero looked up thinking he heard something. He just seemed to know? it was Relena. When the dust cleared, Heero looked down at the ground.
The fighters had survived! They had gathered together and made an energy shield. One of the fighters crouched getting ready to jump. The lower legs are designed to launch the fighters off the ground and can shoot a fighter up at high speeds. The fighters jumped and headed strait for Wing 0. Taking heavy damage from the beam cannons, Wing 0 started to fly away when Nataku got in the way. Wufei drew his saber and began slashing at the fighters with no luck. Wufei spotted a fighter that was slightly different from all the others. It was a custom fighter for an ace pilot. Wufei fired his dragon arm and the fighter dodged it. He grabbed the claw and ran along the arm. Wufei pulled the handles to back away when something impacted the cockpit door. Wufei looked up and saw the fighter pulling away the door and peek in. It ripped the door off and said, ?Hello little boy??
One of the fighters on the ground targeted Nataku and fired its rocket launcher. The rocket hit Nataku?s extended arm and rocked the whole suit about.
The fighter leaned out of the cockpit and said, ?You moron! Stop firing at me!? He turned to look back to see Wufei had lodged himself in the cockpit and brought his feet up. In the control room, the pilot dropped his shoulders and said, ?Aw?? Wufei nailed the fighter knocking him in the air hearing, ?Shiiiiiiiiiiiii?? Wufei smiled and got back in his seat. Nataku turned around and took off joining Heero.
Trowa was having very rough time. Anther custom fighter started harassing him and was damaging non-vital areas of Heavyarms. Trowa got so mad he fired his missiles spraying them everywhere. The fighter just dodged and jumped of the missiles making his way to strike. He drew his saber and targeted the cockpit. He chuckled and said, ?Worthless bucket of bullets!? Heavyarms went to backhand the fighter when it sliced of whole arm and took the lower leg as well. Trowa ran out of ammo and launched off in retreat.
Sandrock slashed with all its might trying to hit just one fighter. A fighter on the corner of a building fired a rocket taking Sandrock?s shoulder off and paralyzing the arm. Quatre dropped the blade and continued fighting with one sword and machine guns.
Deathscythe continued fighting using his best moves. One of the fighters surprised him cutting his arm. Duo tried to fight using one hand but soon he lost both arms. Duo retreated followed by Quatre.
The gundam pilots had been miserably defeated. In all they?re efforts, they didn?t damage or destroy a single fighter? Unless you count the one pilot?s pride?
Daniel smiled as his fighters returned. He looked at Relena and said, ?There is no one that can stop me. Years ago these fighters probably would have been easier to defeat. They had no sabers or beam technology and they weren?t so agile. But thanks to the zero system technology, my fighters are superior to all other weapons.? Relena glared at him and said, ?Heero will stop you.? Marimaya laughed and said, ?He?ll have to do a better job than this time.?
Back at the ship, the wounded gundams return? Heavyarms approaches with his clown face half shot. He lands on the ground and collapses? Sandrock lands running along the ground with it?s arm flinging in the air. Deathscythe lands spinning around and falling on its back. Taurus lands successfully, but not without its share bullet holes and craters. Nataku lands and rests itself against the ship. Duo steps out and looks for Heero. He looks of into the distance seeing Wing 0 already on the ground.
Wing 0 lay on the ground like a fallen angel. Its lower right leg is gone. It had the damage from the first shot as well as bullet holes all across the wings. Duo and Trowa worked their way into the cockpit where Heero lay barely conscious. Duo picked up Heero and carried him off with Trowa.
Later Heero awoke on the bed. He looked around seeing almost everyone gathered around him including Zechs who was not severely injured. Heero sat up and said, ?What?s happened?? Duo said with a serious voice, ?They still have Relena.? Heero looked down a little depressed. Duo said, ?They?re ready?? Heero got up off the bed and said, ?Lets go.? Quatre said, ?We can?t? we had to leave and return to space.? Zechs said, ?The M.A.E. almost destroyed the ship.? Just then Lady Une ran in and said, ?You guys! You got to see this.? Walking out, Heero notices Wufei leaning against the wall. Heero just gives him a blank look and walks on. Wufei looks at Sally who glares back. They walked in and Une pointed at the monitor. They looked up seeing a news reporter standing somewhere on some colony. The reporter said, ?Just a few hours ago, there was a huge battle that took place on Earth. This battle was a mass movement of Magunac and E.S.U.N. forces that was swiftly defeated. Later, gundams appeared on the scene and searched for survivors. Those same gundams ended the war a few months ago. Upon their search, they were attacked and forced to retreat. Here we have a picture of one of the gundams that did not escape?? A picture of Tallgeese appeared on the screen, and then? Wing 0. Heero felt his heart weaken at the site of his fallen angel. Duo put his hand on Heero?s shoulder saying, ?We managed to save it.? Heero nodded his head and said, ?Look, there?s more.? The reporter continued, ?After the battle, Daniel Peacecraft and his associates, boarded a ship headed for the Sanc colony. Their ship should be leaving the Earth?s atmosphere within the next ten minutes.? Heero glared at the monitor and said, ?Set a coarse to intercept at the colony. Meanwhile, we should give these things some shakedown time.? Everybody walked out of the bridge and through the next room. Noin grabbed Zechs arm and waited until he left. Heero was the last to walk out. Looking back he smiled and closed the door.
Out in space, Wing 0 and Deathscythe fly around chasing each other. Their speeds are much faster then the original gundams and they perform flawlessly. They complete their test and high five each other. Duo steps down and says, ?WOW!? Heero gets off next and says, ?That was something else.? Duo felt something and looked at his hand. His hand was red. He looked at doc. J. and said, ?Why is my hand hurting?? doc. J. said, ?When you are in that harness, you and the fighter are one being. Whatever the fighter feels, you feel. Also, if your fighter is destroyed while you?re still linked, you will go into a comma and die?? Sally said, ?Why is it like that?? Doc. J. said, ?Its an unavoidable side effect? the fighter pilots will have that same weakness.? Quatre said, ?Great, at lest we?ll all have the same weaknesses.? Suddenly, Lady Une came over the intercom and said, ?Guys, they?re here!?
Daniel stood aboard his battleship, The Carrier of Light. The carrier looked like a star destroyer with two diamond shaped sections at the end. Relena sat in her chair under the guard of Dakim. Daniel said, ?Time till we reach the colony?? A soldier said, ?Two hours.? Mautymeia looked at the screen and said, ?Look!? Daniel turned and saw several lights coming towards the ship. Daniel sighed and said, ?Its those fools again. Launch the M.A.E?.? Dakim said in agitation, ?Don?t they ever quit.? As Daniel sat in his chair, one of the soldiers said, ?Sir, there aren?t any mobile suits out there.? Dakim shouted, ?What?s that?? ?They?re other M.A.E. sir!? Daniel chuckled and said, ?Those gundam pilots never cease to amaze me. Dakim, launch the serpents.? ?Yes sir!?
The fighters came out and Duo said, ?They?re coming!? Heero glared at the fighters and said? ?Let them come??
Back on the ship, Sniper Gundam and Alex take defensive positions. Lady Une positions herself and says, ?Its time to die.? And fires.
Among the mass number of fighters, the ace pilot who harassed Heavyarms said, ?So what if these wimps got M.A.E. I can take em all out!? And that?s when a beam went clean through the fighter another destroying it. The fighters hesitated for a moment and attacked at full throttle. Wing 0 was the first to attack. A fighter came up to Wing 0? the fighter jabbed, LEFT, RIGHT, STAB? EXPLOSION! Deathscythe was next. A fighter fired its beam cannon and hit Deathscythe. The fighter said, ?Did I get him?? Another fighter flew up to him and said, ?Did you get him?? At that moment, the fighters exploded. Deathscythe continued when eight fighters attacked. Deathscythe made one huge slash and said, ?This is for my arms!? In a flash, the fighters were cut in half. Sandrock came next doing his double pincer attack and taking four fighters down. Heavyarms attacked plastering the fighters with bullets.
Wing 0 continued to hack and slash until the other custom fighter came in and said, ?I?ve got you now you little punk!? Just then, Nataku came in plowing the fighter out of the way saying, ?Hello little boy?? ?You again! I?ll take you out you big jerk!? Nataku and the fighter begin to duel while Heero makes his way to the ship.
Heavyarms found his nemesis, the fighter that had been bugging him. The fighter said, ?Oh look? a smaller bucket of bullets.? Heavyarms and the fighter started a gun battle, the fighter with a beam rifle, Heavyarms with his gantlines?
Nataku continued to battle with the fighter. This guy was pretty good, and Wufei knocked his saber away and punched him in the face. Shaking it off, the fighter knocks Nataku?s saber away and comes in for the kill. Nataku gets the spear and positions it in his path and the fighter says, ?Aw?? Nataku stabs him and the fighter explodes?
Heavyarms charged his opponent and ripped off his arm. In the control room, the man grips his arm and screams in pain. Another fighter comes in and Heavyarms whacks the fighter with his arm and the man screams, ?Owwww! You son of a?? Heavyarms comes around and plows the guy in the face putting him out. Trowa throws the arm away and points the guns at him. A second later, the fighter?s body is riddled with bullets and explodes.
Wing 0 made his way toward the ship and fires his rifle. The shot grazes the ship and moves to the side. On the bridge, Daniel shouts, ?Evasive maneuvers! Evade that menace!? Just then, Heero came on the screen and said, ?Daniel Peacecraft, surrender and disarm yourself or I will destroy you.? Daniel said, ?I will do no such thing! If you destroy this ship, you will take Relena with it.? Relena got out of her seat and said, ?Heero, don?t worry about me! Destroy him!?
The fighters were starting to get to the ship where Alex and Sniper Gundam retaliated. Sally popped out her wrist machine guns and fired away. Sniper Gundam began firing at the fighters at close range. Une targeted one fighter with the ship behind it and fired?
Heero raised his rifle to fire again when he started to hallucinate. He was bombarded with memories of when he protected Relena? then the memory of the girl and her dog? Heero growled and shot a connected part of the ship that wouldn?t destroy it.
In an instant, one third of the fighters just stopped working. The gundam pilots continued to gain the advantage as they destroyed these fighters who had beaten them before.
Heero smiled and targeted the opposite side of the ship and destroyed the other pod.
Another one third of the fighters were destroyed. The fighters started to group together to survive.
Daniel growled and said, ?You still haven?t won, the last of my troops are in the middle. If you fire at them, you?ll destroy the ship. Now tell your friends to back off or I?ll?? Just then, Tallgeese broke through the doors and looked for Relena. Dakim pulled out his gun and aimed it at him. Tallgeese threw his heat rod knocking his gun away and to the ground. Tallgeese grabbed Relena and ran out of the bridge toward the air lock for a normal suit. Marimaya kneeled down to Dakim saying, ?Dakim!? Dakim said through his failing breath, ?Marimaya? don?t worry about me? get to safety as fast as you can? you must carry out your father?s will?? ?Dakim, I thank you.? Dakim smiled and said, ?I?m just glad you?re alive?? And with that? Dakim collapsed?
Daniel looked the screen with fear in his bright eyes. Heero smiled and waited for Zechs to get out. Daniel knew his goose was cooked, so he decided to run to his control room to make a finale stand.
Tallgeese blasted through the doors with Relena in a normal suit. Wing 0 got ready to fire when a whip came out and clamped on the gun with a magnet. An electrical surge went into the gun overloading it. Wing 0 let go and flew away right before the gun exploded. He pulled out his beam saber and looked around for the fighter that did that.
And then he appeared? A white fighter mixed with blue. It had white reverse V shaped wings and bright blue eyes. On both wrists, a whip with a magnet, stemming strait up from both shoulders, was a holder for three beam cannons. It had head, shoulder, and feet mounted machine guns, a regular V shape antenna and two that stood strait up, and a light blue gem-like dome over the white chest. It had a hyper beam rifle and a beam saber stored under its wrist. It was called? Knight Gundam?
Heero charged him making the first move. Knight Gundam fired both whips at Heero who flew strait up. He slashed his saber witch extended its length and cut both cords.
In the control room, Daniel growled in anger and leaned back.
Knight Gundam leaned back to face Heero and fired his beam rifle. A spray of beams rushed right at Heero who dodged them. Knight Gundam charged him laying down a barrage of beams form his rifle and shoulder weapons. Heero worked his way toward him looking for an opening. Daniel stopped shooting and flew strait for him. Heero poised to attack and at the last second, Daniel bursted up past Heero?s attack and sliced the upper parts of the wings. Heero flew up after him and went after Knight Gundam?s hand. Heero grazed Daniel?s hand witch felt like a blowtorch being drove right into your hand. In a fit of anger, Knight Gundam came down on Heero at full speed. Setting his saber to maximum, he sliced Heero?s whole arm. Just as the arm came off, Wing 0 kicked Knight?s Gundam?s saber out of his hand. Heero fired machine guns and Daniel backed off. Daniel straitened up in the control harness and smiled. Heero stood clenching his shoulder? his brain was screaming in pain convinced he lost his arm. Daniel chuckled and said? ?Funnels??
The room around Daniel filled with lights and computers activating. The six beam cannons popped out of the holders and opened up. They flew over to Heero he tried to destroy them. He missed one and it got ready to fire. Just then, Tallgeese came up and called, ?Heero! Relena?s safe!? A second later? the funnel fired? Wing 0 lit up into a ball of flames as the beam went strait through the heart. Seeing the explosion, Relena cried, ?Heero! No!? She bursted into tears when a hand touched her shoulder.
Daniel laughed and said, ?So much for him?? Tallgeese came in saying, ?Daniel! This is Milliardo Peacecraft! You are no longer king of the Sanc kingdom? tell your forces to stand down and surrender now!? Daniel said, ?When you gave up your position, you relinquished command to me. I will not allow you to reclaim the throne? even if that means destroying you?? ?In such a fight, you would not survive?? ?Lets find out! Funnels! Get him!? Tallgeese ripped out his saber and tried to hit the funnel, but it was just to fast. All Zechs could see was a blur white as he barely managed to dodge the beams. Daniel said, ?Goodbye little brother??
The funnel faked Zechs and got right in his face. Daniel shouted, ?Fire!? And then? an angel rose from below with wings spread... Daniel turned around and saw the massive green eyes that shot right into his heart. Wing 0 came around in between Tallgeese and Knight Gundam and him as hard as Heero?s true gundam could. The force knocked Knight Gundam into the ship denting the hull. Daniel started to lean forward when Heero?s face come in view. Heero death glared Daniel and pulled Wing 0?s massive twin buster rifle. Daniel pleaded with Heero saying, ?Don?t!? Heero said nothing with his death glare still there. Heero fixed his view saying, ?Locked onto the target?? and fired? Daniel screamed in horror as the beam vaporized him and went clean through the ship. A second later, the entire ship exploded? just as the part of Libra did, in exploded into a bright light.
Heero sat in his cockpit still death glaring the empty space. Heero looked at his control panel for a second and tapped the controls. Wing 0 put away the rifle and turned toward Tallgeese. Tallgeese just floated in space with the funnel drifting near him. Heero said, ?Are you alright?? ?Ya?? The other gundams came up to Tallgeese and looked each other over to see if they were alright.
Floating in space, Marimaya?s escape capsule was towed in where Sally greeted her. Watching as Sally pulled the sobbing Marimaya out of the capsule, Wufei said, ?It looks like Earth hasn?t changed after all?? Trowa came up to him and said, ?Wufei, as long as there are hearts that hope for peaceful world, there will be peace?? Wufei just looked at Trowa? he didn?t say anything?
Heero stood on the bridge of the ship watching the fighters float in space. Relena walked up to him and said, ?Heero? thank you?? ?You don?t have to thank me, I was merely protecting you.? Relena walked around to the front of him and said, ?Hey?? Relena put her hand on Heero?s face and kissed him. Heero didn?t say anything. Relena walked off looking back into the eyes of Heero?s blank face. Heero touched the part of his face that Relena touched feeling the warmth left by Relena?s hand. Heero turned around and closed his eyes. He opened them with a new look on his face. Heero looked out into space? He heard the door close and looked back. He saw Relena had left, he smiled at the door and looked back outside. From outside, Heero just stared for a minute, and turned, and went after Relena?
The science ship turned and headed towards the colonies, a new era of peace has been ushered in?
After colony 196? peace? has returned to the people. And from this point in history, weapons called mobile suits, including the gundams and M.A.E. Were never seen again?
For the techno fans on this site, I just couldn?t resist. It?s not cheating, it?s using good lines. The Alex is my favorite gundam of U.C. 0079 and I couldn?t resist giving it a part. The other gundams are my customized suits that I dreamt up myself. There was one thing I didn?t like about GW, and that was it had no funnels. Since this gundam universe has neural interface technology, I was able to introduce funnels. I am a fan of funnels? And I must admit to using a little of Big O, but the design is so perfect. I did mostly create the fighters on my own. This story is like hitting a gold mine. A couple historical things have been changed, but other than that, this is awesome. One night I was about to go to bed when this simple question came to my mind. The question was; What if there was a sixth faction?

Prelude?
It is the year After Colony 084. A mighty empire of Earth stands upon failing legs? The king of this empire daydreams about the past generation while his enemies march into the capital meeting the last resistance of its defenses. He dreams of a world his father had described to him. A world of chaos and destruction being brought to order by his kingdom. Almost two centuries ago, the nations of Earth had reached its peak in colonizing space. The last cluster of colonies was completed and billions of people lived in space. Over the next hundred years, the colonies formed their own governments and rebelled against the nations of Earth. Both sides massed forces to fight one another. The nations of Earth and the colonies fought against one another. Some nations fought their fellow nations on Earth while combating the colonies. Other nations allied with some of the colonies and fought other colonies. This world war became a wrestling free-for-all. In the midst of the fighting, a new force emerged? Several nations of Earth untied their forces to be as one nation. This nation had one leader, and proceeded to capture the other nations of Earth. It was successful, but at the same time? the colonies had united and were preparing to strike. At the turn of the century, the largest battle was about to take place when something happened?
This war had taken a terrible toll on humanity. The shear loss of military life was enormous and everyone was feeling the strain of this war. The new nation? nicknamed the Nation of Light, declared a truths with the united colonies. They later reached a peace that created a border between Earth and the colonies. Accept for the space in close orbit, the colonies had control of space that was split up between themselves. A new calendar was created to show that the colonies were no longer colonies. The calendar was called? After Colony?
The Nation of Light controlled Earth and began licking its wounds, but? they were also preparing to strike. The peace was just a chance recover from the brutal war. They began developing a new technology that was superior to the space fighters. These weapons were not mobile suits, but they were M.A.E?. (Mobile Assault Exoskeletons) nicknamed? Mobile Fighters. These fighters were smaller versions of the mobile suit controlled by remote with joint sticks, foot pedals, and voice commands. They were being developed on the drawing board when the colonies realized what they were doing. The Nation of Light was planning to attack with these fighters. They launched a preemptive strike and the Nation of Light launched a counter attack, but colonies had a surprise of their own? they had developed beam cannon technology and swiftly defeated the counter attack. In less than a month, the Nation of Light was in ruins, and the capital was all that was left. The Alliance forces ran in pummeling everything in their path. The king would not surrender and took the designs for the Mobile Fighters and gave them to his son. The son escaped the massacre of his family and went to the colonies. He blended in with the populace and vanished from his enemies. Until he would rise again?
The year, After Colony 195? the final war fought between the Earth? and space colonies? had come to an end? eliminating the boundaries between nations. The colonies and Earth? had chosen to coexist? thus giving birth? to the Earth Sphere Unified Nation? and the hope for everlasting peace?
Chapter 1?
It had been a hard day for Relena. She had visited three colony clusters and gave hour-long speeches there. She was tired? she had had dinner at four separate colonies and returned to Earth. Relena couldn?t even walk strait as she went into her bedroom. She thought she had food poisoning, but then her vision started to blur. She collapsed on the bed and struggled not to pass out. Something wasn?t right here? she had been drugged? She began drifting in and out of consciousness when the doors opened. Her body started feeling num as a figure approached her. With a burst of strength Relena jumped and kicked the figure below the belt hoping it was a man. The figure crouched a little and Relena put up her hands like a boxer. This figure began to multiply and started walking toward her. She backed away barely able to stand. She tripped over her foot and fell to the side and out a five-story window. She was unable to control her descent let along trying to stay conscious. Suddenly? she stopped in mid air? and started moving back up. She couldn?t hold herself anymore and she passed out?
In a dark room? a man presses a switch on a control board. A sign blinks, ?Autopilot.? On a huge view screen, a first person view of flying across the tree line with the occasional house below on the ground. The outline of Relena?s arm is in view? as well as another dark figure flying as a wingman. Two men step down from their platforms and took off their helmets. One crouches over himself saying, ?I thought she was supposed to be passed out.? ?Didn?t you use the transmitter?? ?Ya? they said the transmission would trigger a reaction in the chemicals and knock her out in seconds.? ?Why didn?t it work?? ?That?s the question my chops have been asking me!? A voice came from above saying, ?According to these scans, there is a mixture of alcohol and other chemicals in her system that slowed the reaction.? ?Is she unconscious now?? ?Yes, she is.? ?That?s all that matters now.? ?That?s not the only thing. That hurt! She must have broken her leg doing that.?
In a joining room, three figures were watching their progress. They were sitting at a table monitoring the view screen. On one side of the table, were Dakim and Marimaya, and the other side? a man sitting in the shadows, his identity unknown. Dakim said, ?That was a close call.? The man responded, ?That was a small hitch. We should not have any problems now.? Marimaya said, ?The question remains why if these fighters are superior to the gundams, then how was it defeated by some rich girl?? ?These fighters were not designed to handle this kind of mission. They were designed to fight and destroy.? Dakim said, ?That is understandable. You will have the full support of our forces? your majesty.?
Back in the emptiness of space, Heero and Duo were riding a shuttle to Earth when a call came from Noin. Heero sat back sleeping in his chair while Duo flew the shuttle. The screen came on and Noin said, ?This is preventer Fire calling, please respond.? Duo tapped the control and Noin came on the screen. Duo said, ?Noin? what is it?? ?Relena?s been kidnapped!? Duo jumped his in chair shock and said, ?What? How could that have happened?? Heero sat up in his chair and said, ?Obviously? someone doesn?t agree with the new peace. Hey Noin, what happened?? ?Relena had returned from the colonies and told her servants that she was going to bed. One of the servants saw something move upstairs and went to investigate it. When she got up there, she saw a robot walking down the hall?? Duo said, ?A robot?? ?That?s what she said? before she died?? Heero raised his eyebrow and said, ?What killed her?? ?Severe trauma to the head, the paramedics couldn?t save her in time. They said that she got hit with a fifty-pound blunt object that hit ten miles per hour. She was strong to last as long as she did.? Duo said, ?Alright, we?ll be there in no time.? ?There was one other thing.? Heero looked up at her and said, ?What is it?? ?Many people at home said they saw two lights in the sky flying really fast.? Heero thought for a minute and then said, ?Thanks Noin, I need to get in touch with someone before we head to Earth. We won?t be long.? ?Alright you two, good luck.?
Trowa had finished his circus act and was cleaning up. Catherine always stressed keeping the place tidy? and he was assigned to mop up duty? literally. That?s when Quatre ran into the stable. He looked around and spotted Trowa in suspenders and boots shoveling crap? a little chore Catherine made him do. Quatre couldn?t help but smile at the site of Trowa? the pilot of the gundam suit Heavyarms custom? in all his glory, reduced to shoveling elephant crap. Trowa leaned up and saw Quatre. He smiled and said, ?Want to join me?? Quatre smiles and says, ?I think I?ll pass. Listen, I?ve got some bad news.? Trowa put the shovel down and stepped out of the elephant cage. He locked the door and said, ?What is it?? ?Trowa? Miss Relena?s been kidnapped.? ?Great. So I guess there?s a new threat.? ?Ya. I know how you feel.? ?Well, if we?re gonna beat em, then we better get moving. You do have means of transportation?? ?Of course I do.? Trowa and Quatre walked outside where Catherine had been ease dropping. Quatre and Trowa passed right by and she said, ?You?re going to go fight again, aren?t you.? ?Ya? Miss Relena?s been kidnapped.? Catherine walked up to him and cupped his head. A tear fell from her eye and she said, ?Just come back in one piece, ok?? Trowa hugged her and kissed her on the forehead. He stepped back and looked at her? the look was enough to reassure her and she went inside. And with that, Quatre and Trowa were on their way?
Sally arrived with Lady Une and boarded Noin?s ship. They met and discussed the situation and went on their way to Earth to join Heero and Duo. On the way, they found a damaged Nataku floating in space. They towed Nataku and pulled Wufei in resuscitating him. Wufei awoke, his vision was blurred for a moment, but he could hear, ?He?s coming around?? said a figure leaning over him. ?Wufei? Wufei, its Sally? can you hear me?? Wufei?s vision came into focus and saw Sally leaning over him. Wufei sat up and said, ?What am I doing here?? Lady Une said, ?Your gundam was damaged and floating in space. We found you barely alive.? Wufei sat up and said, ?I barely managed to escape? I needed to warn Heero and the others.? Noin said, ?What?s that?? Wufei sighed and said, ?I thought their goals was noble, but they proved me wrong. Have you ever heard of a man named Dakim Barton?? The girls thought for a minute and didn?t know. Wufei said, ?He survived the past space war and was planning to continue operation meteor. He and Trieze?s daughter, Marimaya Cush Renada, was going to rule after Dakim conquered Earth.? They all gasped at the sound of Marimaya being Trieze?s daughter. I believed in what they was doing and joined them.? Sally shouted, ?You did what?? ?I do not accept Relena Peacecraft?s ways. Her belief that peace is attained by throwing away weapons and confining soldiers is wrong. Marimaya was to start a new area to change all that.? Sally said through her gritted teeth, ?You traitor.? Lady Une said, ?Enough! We have more important things to deal with. Noin, get us to the nearest colony so we can head to Earth.? Noin nodded her head and went to the control room glaring at Wufei. Sally sat back against the wall and said, ?I?ll keep an eye on Wufei? he?s a security risk.? Lady Une sighed and walked back into the control room and rested. The ship positioned itself for the colonies, and took off?
Chapter 2?
In the palace, police officials walk around the hall looking for evidence. One of the officers says, ?Over here!? The detective walked up and cleverly says, ?What?? ?Sir, I found scuffmarks on the wall.? ?Scuffmarks?? ?Ya, looks like they?re metal scuffmarks.? ?Is there enough for a sample?? The officer nodded his head and took a sample. The officer said, ?If I may say so, this looks like a fairly new metal. Defiantly a titanium or neo-titanium alloy? or even that gundamterium alloy stuff.? ?How can you tell?? ?The number of metal particles, the color, texture?? ?Are you a mineralogist?? ?I do a little research in it.?
In Relena?s room, a man in the shadows ease drops on the conversation. He gets up and investigates the room and looks for clues of his own. He walks to the window and examined the frame. The window was fairly large and he noticed that the frame was bent into the floor and the floor around it looked like a crater. He leaned closer and as he did, the light revealed his face. It was Zechs? he saw the metal scuffmarks on the flattened frame as well and touched it. Whatever did this had a big foot and weighed a ton. He stood up and looked for other craters in the floor. They were in front of the bed and seemed to be the shape of two front feet. He noticed that the feet were unusually square. The servant wasn?t exaggerating when the nurse spoke of a robot in the house. This confirmed Zechs? worse fears? he?s back?
In Zechs? early childhood memories, as Milliardo Peacecraft, he remembers a slightly older brother. He was also told of myth? an empire of Earth and how it fell two centuries ago. He remembered this box that he always carried. He managed to get a look at once and saw an image of a Robot. He saw a bunch of numbers and letters he didn?t understand until he later realized they were schematics. A few years after Relena was born, he vanished. Zechs didn?t know anything more, he was told his brother had run away because he wasn?t happy, but he knew otherwise. Zechs didn?t know what this long lost brother was planning, but he was going to stop him.
Chapter 3?
Relena woke from her sleep? These guys were rude. They had the gull to put her in a jail cell, its not like she was going to try to escape anything. When she got off her cell bed, Dakim and Marimaya walked in. Relena straitened up and firmly walked up to them and said, ?Why have you brought me here? What am I doing in this prison cell?? Dakim said, ?I apologize Miss Peacecraft, there was a mistake in sleeping arrangements. As long as you do not create problems for us you can stay in the other room.? Relena nodded her head and they walked out. Walking down the hall Relena asked, ?Why have you abducted me?? Dakim said, ?That is not for us to disclose yet.? She stopped, turned around and said, ?Why, aren?t you in charge?? Marimaya said, ?I am in second command, this is my right hand man, I answer to his majesty now.? Dakim stepped in front of Relena and said, ?His majesty is busy, but will be with you shortly, please move on.? Relena turned and walked on. They made it to the room were Relena was to stay. This was defiantly nicer. For one thing, it had carpet. The room was designed for work. A comfortable bed was the only thing out of place. She noticed the tracks and realized the bed slides out of the wall. Around the room were small tables and a small buffet. Wow! This room had a buffet? a coffee maker with all the extras that you could add. A small table next to the coffee machine had a window that lead to a kitchen were the food was prepared. When you first walk into this room, directly in front of you is a desk with four seats. Each part of the desk was customized for Marimaya, Dakim, a man that would be six three, and Relena... The two walked into the room and Relena said, ?How long will you hold me here?? Dakim escorted Mautymeia out and said, ?His majesty will be with you shortly.? With that, they walked out and closed the door. Relena watched the doors for a second and started to explore the room.
Besides Zechs, Heero and Duo were the closest to the planet. They started to prepare for reentry when a broadcast came on the screen. A man came appeared? he had moderately brown hair and bright, sky blue eyes. Other then those features, his physical construction was similar to the likeness of Zechs and Relena. His uniform was more of what you would expect from a general?s design, having medals, gold buttons, and dark gray uniform. He defiantly had a royal air about him. You could straiten a level on his shoulders and along his head. He stood tall with a proud show of nobility as he made his statement?
?We the new government of Earth hereby wish to declare our independence from the Earth Sphere Unified Nation. This new nation had once existed over three centuries ago and had ruled this planet. My name is Daniel Peacecraft. I am the son king Peacecraft. Because of my family line proven by genetic testing, I have claimed the right to sit on the throne of the Sanc kingdom? where I rule from this day forth and usher in a new era for humanity??
Duo stared at the screen witch returned to the static picture with his jaw dropped. He looked at Heero who had a blank look on his face. Duo put his hand on Heero?s shoulder and said, ?Heero are you ok?? ?I?m fine.? ?Why you lookin like that?? ?I know that man.? ?How do you know him?? ?He?s Relena?s stepbrother.? ?Her stepbrother!? ?He disappeared a long time ago when Relena was a few years old. I doubt she even knows about him.? ?You two are the same age. How could you know about him?? ?In my training, I was prepared for any situation. They told me about him and showed me a picture. He was only a child, but he was the only person I ever knew with those eyes.? ?Ya, I know, its like he put light bulbs behind them. I also heard of a story that was considered a myth. A nation that ruled all of Earth was planning to attack the colonies when their plans were foiled. The nation was crushed and the family massacred. The son, only known as Ben, disappeared before the family was killed. Despite a massive search, the boy was never found and was presumed dead. After that incident, the entire history of the Nation of Light was quietly swept under the rug. By this day and age, everybody forgot that it really existed.? ?I think I remember something about it. I remember the Nation of Light was making a new weapon when they were destroyed.? Hearing that, Heero?s eyes widened. He tried to talk through his stunned silence, but he couldn?t. He finally shouted, ?STOP THE SHIP!? It scared Duo so bad that he pulled back the wheel and had stuck out his foot as if he were trying to stop a car. When the shuttle came to a stop, Duo turned to Heero and said, ?Hey! What?s the big idea scaring me like that!? Heero caught his breath and said, ?The scientists are at L2, right?? ?Ya?? ?Set a coarse.? ?What about Relena?? ?We?ll have to take care of it later.? ?Do you want me send the others a massage we?re not headin to Earth?? ?Tell them to head for L2 as well.? ?Ok, I hope you know what your doing.? The shuttle turned away from Earth and blasted toward L2.
On Earth, former Alliance and Magunac forces rebuild for an assault on the Sanc kingdom witch now controls Earth and the Sanc colony. While most of the weapons have been destroyed, the process isn?t complete and the remaining troops are arming for battle. Rashid and his men, along with Quatre and Trowa, watch as the mobile suits one by one? activate. Rashid looks at Abdul and says, ?Time till we reach the station?? ?Thirty minutes.? Trowa saw a message come on the screen. He poked Quatre and pointed at the message. Quatre saw the message and said, ?Rashid, we have a message. Its from Heero.? Rashid read the message and raised his eyebrow. He said, ?Why L2?? Quatre started to think when Trowa said, ?The gundam developers are there.? Rashid said, ?Why would Heero head to see the gundam developers?? Quatre said, ?I don?t know.?
Chapter 4?
Relena had watched the statement made to the Earth sphere. The mans eyes seemed so familiar like it was a memory that was right off the top of head and yet can?t remember. Staring at those eyes on the frozen picture made Relena think about the myth and if it was true. Those eyes were driving her crazy, she almost knew who he was. She continued to stare at the picture when he walked in? She turned and saw the real thing? He smiled and said, ?I?m glad to see you have some memory of me.? Relena backed away and said, ?Who are you?? ?My name is Daniel? Daniel Peacecraft.? ?Peacecraft? You said that you had claim to the throne. What relation are you?? ?I?m your stepbrother?? ?What? How can you be my stepbrother?? ?I was born of your father, but I had a different mother.? ?I never knew my father had two wives.? ?My mother was his first wife. She was descended from a boy named Ben?? ?That sounds familiar.? ?When Ben was ten, his entire family was killed in a war. That family was at the head of the Nation of Light?? ?I was told that was only a myth.? ?The boy escaped to the colonies were he matured and took a wife. They gave birth to a daughter and when they died, the daughter inherited this.? He picked up what seemed to be a jack in the box. He twisted the handle back and forth like working a combination and a jack came out. He pulled the handle and the jack went down in the box and the surface opened up. A projector came out and pointed over the edge. He aimed it at the wall and pushed a button. The projector displayed a man?s face. He didn?t look like Daniel until Relena saw the eyes. She knew right away he was his child. The message said:
?Hello Ben, I?m sorry things turned out the way they did. The colonies were never supposed to be like this. They were never supposed to be independent. Our people were too clumsy and we were destroyed for it. You survived? and it is you who will reclaim our glory again. You will take this message to your children, and your children?s children, until we can rise again and restore this planet. To your children Ben, a message that I have prepared? I can?t begin to tell you the importance of bringing this kingdom back to life. Let me make one thing clear for you? no matter how good things may seem? humanity will never survive as long as it continues without us? I have schematics that will help in your battle. I wish you good luck. And remember? as long as mankind exists? there will always be battles??
The projector displayed the schematics of the M.A.E. before it was shut off. Relena just stared at the wall and said, ?So the story is true?? ?I have been given a mission? I am carrying out that mission.? ?A mission of destruction!? ?Wars only last a small amount of time. Once its over, we recover and move on.? ?A war is not something you take lightly.? ?Your right, its not, but accepting it or not, war refines man. You are right though? there is a time where it needs to end.? ?You expect this to be the finale war?? ?Yes? I do? at lest for a very long time. I have no illusions of an eternal kingdom.? Relena started to get frustrated with this man. She got firm with him and said, ?Why have you abducted me?? ?To serve one maybe two purposes. The first is to serve as a hostage in case I?m faced with a difficult situation. The second? I hope? is after this is over? you would be queen.? ?Are you crazy?? ?I?m not asking you to be my wife? that would be crazy? you would simply be a queen. You would practically hold the role you have now. Accept you would have to answer to me.? ?And if I don?t?? ?Then you won?t be queen, but whatever you want to be? I will help you? if you don?t want my help, then so be it.? ?Very well. I?ll be leaving then.? As Relena walked out, Daniel grabbed her arm and said, ?Not until you have performed your first duty to your king.? He put Relena back in the room and closed the door. As Relena walked to the desk, the floor shook and she fell to the floor.
Daniel stumbled into the control room and called to Dakim saying, ?What?s happening?? ?We are under attack! Look!? Daniel looked out the monitor at an army of Alliance and Magunac suits approaching his castle. Marimaya ran to Daniel and said, ?What do we do?? Daniel chucked at the large force and said, ?Mobilize the fighters.? Dakim hits the intercom and says, ?This is Dakim, prepare to mobilize the Serpents!? Daniel leaned over Dakim and said, ?Belay that! Mobilize the M.A.E. now!? ?He turned the intercom off and said, ?If you only fight fire with fire, you the make flames worse! Your Serpents are only backups.?
In a huge underground room, an army of men head to their platforms. Through a series of cables and connections, you stand on shoes that are attached to suspension wires as well as computer wires. A small weight strapped to the back is attached to suspension cables. The metal shoes clamp onto your feet while you fit your helmet and weight. When the helmet is turned on, it links to a neural interface that controls weapons, thrust, and sensors. A suit restricts movements to the limits of the fighter and applies gravity, centrifugal force, and tactile information. (Meaning if a guy loses an arm, he feels the pain of it.) The rest of the men follow, and the army marches to fight the approaching forces?
At L2, Quatre and Trowa arrive at the colony in the terminal were they met Heero, Duo, and the others. Trowa greeted the girls while Quatre went up to Heero. Quatre said, ?So why have we come to see the gundam developers?? Heero raised his arms and said, ?Everybody, please give me your attention?? Everybody turned and faced Heero and Duo said, ?Ok Heero, what?s this all about?? ?Is everybody familiar with the myth about the Nation of Light?? They nodded their heads and continued listening. ?What you don?t know is that the boy named Ben had a weapon that was being designed before mobile suits. When I was being prepared for war, I had doc. J. design this weapon just in case. He has the used latest technology to create these weapons. We are here to get them.? The others had questions, but they decided to wait until after they saw the weapons.
At doc. J?s. building, the others met and went inside. The gundam developers were all there and had been living their lives rather normally. Heero walked over doc. J. and said, ?Doc. J., I need the special weapons?? Doc. J. nodded his head and guided everyone to a door. When he opened the door, they could see stairs that lead down into a huge basement. When they went down, they saw the platforms for using the M.A.E. Quatre inspected them and said, ?What are these for?? Heero said, ?For these?? He turned on a light that revealed the fighters. The gundam pilots walked up to their fighters witch were miniature versions of the gundams. Heero walked up to Wing 0 and looked at it in the eye. Doc. J. walked up and said, ?They?re not ready yet, but they will be in a few hours.? Noin said, ?What about us?? Doc. J. said, ?We anticipated that you wanted to help so we created M.A.E. that are customized for you.? Lady Une said, ?What?s a M.A.E.?? Heero said, ?Mobile assault exoskeletons.? Dou said, ?Catchy.? The scientists walked over to the wall and turned on another light revealing another set of M.A.E. Noin spotted a custom Taurus suit. Doc. J. pointed at the M.A.E. next to it and said, ?This one we nicknamed the Alex. Wrist mounted machine guns, beam sabers, beam rifle, shield, and like all the other fighters? its made with gundamterium alloy. Sally rubbed her chin and said, ?I see. I think I?ll take that one.? Doc. J. pointed to the next fighter and said, ?This is Sniper Gundam. Active cloak, I field, (Beam deflection field?), shoulder and head mounted machine guns, wrist mounted missile launchers, beam saber, long range beam rifle capable of firing one mile, and the shield is designed to fire beams through.? /Sniper Gundam has a body like Deathscythe accept for the horns. The shoulders were moderately sized with big thrusters to launch upwards. / Lady Une said, ?That?s the one for me.? Wufei looked his Nataku over and said, ?Excuse me doctor J., Nataku looks different.? Doc. J. smiled and said, ?Because you are a martial artist, we given you a second beam saber. A beam spear. Heero said, ?Get them loaded and take it Earth immediately.? Noin walked up to the Taurus when she noticed a Tallgeese in the shadows. She walked over to the corner and said, ?What is this?? Doc. J. smiled and said, ?We got a special order for that??
A while later, the ship launched off toward Earth and towards the most difficult challenge ever to face the gundam pilots. Aboard the bridge, Duo was watching the com systems at Noin?s request. Quatre walked up and said, ?Any word from our forces on Earth?? Duo leaned his head and said, ?No.?
The ship made it through the atmosphere and went through the clouds. Everybody stood on the bridge while the ship hovered above were the battle took place. They looked around and only saw a few erratic lights. Duo magnified the image to see who won. As soon as the image was on the screen, they all saw who won. All scattered across the ground, were the corpse like bodies of the Magunac and Alliance forces that lay broken across the ground. The suits that were intact had gapping holes in the middle while surrounded with the parts of the suits that exploded. Noin watched as the ship flew by. But then? she spotted? a white suit that had been torn apart. She gasped and said, ?Wait! That?s Zechs!? Lady Une put her hand on her shoulder and said, ?He?s probably dead now?? In a fit of rage she knocked Une?s hand away and shouted, ?No!?
Just then, the ship landed a few miles away from the battlefield. The scientists had brought the mobile suits as well as the fighters and Noin flew away in her Taurus to rescue Zechs. Noin sit in her seat breathing hard, she was going to get Zechs even if she died rescuing him.
Daniel brought Relena into the large control room where Marimaya soldiers were at the workstations. He seated her in-between Marimaya and himself. Daniel sat down and said, ?Relena, this is Marimaya Cush Renada, the daughter of Treize Cush Renada.? Marimaya and Dakim explained their story and how they compromised with Daniel. Daniel relaxed in his seat until a soldier said, ?Excuse me sir, we have an unidentified mobile suit approaching.? Daniel leaned forward and said, ?What type of mobile suit is it?? ?It?s a Taurus.? Daniel set back and sighed saying, ?Launch the fighters? tell to be on their guard, they may be more out there.?
Noin made it to the Tallgeese and opened the hatch. Inside, Zechs lay unconscious. Noin pushed him around saying, ?Zechs! Zechs! Wake up!? Zechs started to come around and looked up saying, ?Noin?? Noin got teary eyed and said, ?Oh Zechs? are you ok?? Zechs said, ?Ya? Noin look out!? Noin turned around and a dark figure stood in the door of his cockpit. It pointed a gun in her face and said through an optical voice, ?See ya.? Noin hit the gun but didn?t move it. The fighter started to pull the trigger when it was knocked out of the cockpit and all Noin heard was a voice quickly fading in the distance. Into view came Heavyarms half-clown face. She smiled and said, ?Trowa!? As the other fighters approached, Heavyarms raised its enormous gantlines and fired. As Noin carried Zechs out, she saw Sandrock and Deathscythe coming in. Noin jumped into her Taurus and started it up. As soon as she turned it on, her suit was knocked to the ground. They?re were nothing but dark blurs everywhere. Taurus stood up and started to retreat. They all took off and the fighters pursued.
They made it to an abandoned city where they could escape in the skyscrapers. Heavyarms made it first and tried to give the others cover fire. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn?t hit a single fighter. They all dodged his guns and even saw a few jump off the bullets. Quatre was slashing away, but he wasn?t hitting anything. Duo was getting frustrated with them and sent out a shockwave? but missed. That?s when they saw the fighters. There were different models. One model was a heavyset type. It had a bulky body with one gantline in its chest, small middle arms that attached to large lower arms, these arms were half as big as the fighter and were used as beam cannons. These fighters were made with gundamterium alloy and it was thick like Sandrock?s armor. The next was a more agile type that had a beam rifle designed to pierce armor, optional rocket launcher, (ten rounds), twin gantlines, heavy beam rifle, and beam saber. The beam sabers are designed like Epyon?s saber so they can increase their sizes. The finale type was equipped with large hands and hyper hammers on the back of their arms, brass knuckles, or in this case, neo-titanium knuckles, beam saber, heat fists, and wrist mounted beam cannons. The fighters started to gain the advantage when Wing 0 and a slightly repaired Nataku appeared. Wing 0 flew up into the air got out the buster rifle. He aimed it at the advancing forces he spotted him. They gathered together and Heero fired. The others started to run away and a huge explosion filled the view screen. Relena jumped out of her seat and cried, ?Heero!? Heero looked up thinking he heard something. He just seemed to know? it was Relena. When the dust cleared, Heero looked down at the ground.
The fighters had survived! They had gathered together and made an energy shield. One of the fighters crouched getting ready to jump. The lower legs are designed to launch the fighters off the ground and can shoot a fighter up at high speeds. The fighters jumped and headed strait for Wing 0. Taking heavy damage from the beam cannons, Wing 0 started to fly away when Nataku got in the way. Wufei drew his saber and began slashing at the fighters with no luck. Wufei spotted a fighter that was slightly different from all the others. It was a custom fighter for an ace pilot. Wufei fired his dragon arm and the fighter dodged it. He grabbed the claw and ran along the arm. Wufei pulled the handles to back away when something impacted the cockpit door. Wufei looked up and saw the fighter pulling away the door and peek in. It ripped the door off and said, ?Hello little boy??
One of the fighters on the ground targeted Nataku and fired its rocket launcher. The rocket hit Nataku?s extended arm and rocked the whole suit about.
The fighter leaned out of the cockpit and said, ?You moron! Stop firing at me!? He turned to look back to see Wufei had lodged himself in the cockpit and brought his feet up. In the control room, the pilot dropped his shoulders and said, ?Aw?? Wufei nailed the fighter knocking him in the air hearing, ?Shiiiiiiiiiiiii?? Wufei smiled and got back in his seat. Nataku turned around and took off joining Heero.
Trowa was having very rough time. Anther custom fighter started harassing him and was damaging non-vital areas of Heavyarms. Trowa got so mad he fired his missiles spraying them everywhere. The fighter just dodged and jumped of the missiles making his way to strike. He drew his saber and targeted the cockpit. He chuckled and said, ?Worthless bucket of bullets!? Heavyarms went to backhand the fighter when it sliced of whole arm and took the lower leg as well. Trowa ran out of ammo and launched off in retreat.
Sandrock slashed with all its might trying to hit just one fighter. A fighter on the corner of a building fired a rocket taking Sandrock?s shoulder off and paralyzing the arm. Quatre dropped the blade and continued fighting with one sword and machine guns.
Deathscythe continued fighting using his best moves. One of the fighters surprised him cutting his arm. Duo tried to fight using one hand but soon he lost both arms. Duo retreated followed by Quatre.
The gundam pilots had been miserably defeated. In all they?re efforts, they didn?t damage or destroy a single fighter? Unless you count the one pilot?s pride?
Daniel smiled as his fighters returned. He looked at Relena and said, ?There is no one that can stop me. Years ago these fighters probably would have been easier to defeat. They had no sabers or beam technology and they weren?t so agile. But thanks to the zero system technology, my fighters are superior to all other weapons.? Relena glared at him and said, ?Heero will stop you.? Marimaya laughed and said, ?He?ll have to do a better job than this time.?
Back at the ship, the wounded gundams return? Heavyarms approaches with his clown face half shot. He lands on the ground and collapses? Sandrock lands running along the ground with it?s arm flinging in the air. Deathscythe lands spinning around and falling on its back. Taurus lands successfully, but not without its share bullet holes and craters. Nataku lands and rests itself against the ship. Duo steps out and looks for Heero. He looks of into the distance seeing Wing 0 already on the ground.
Wing 0 lay on the ground like a fallen angel. Its lower right leg is gone. It had the damage from the first shot as well as bullet holes all across the wings. Duo and Trowa worked their way into the cockpit where Heero lay barely conscious. Duo picked up Heero and carried him off with Trowa.
Later Heero awoke on the bed. He looked around seeing almost everyone gathered around him including Zechs who was not severely injured. Heero sat up and said, ?What?s happened?? Duo said with a serious voice, ?They still have Relena.? Heero looked down a little depressed. Duo said, ?They?re ready?? Heero got up off the bed and said, ?Lets go.? Quatre said, ?We can?t? we had to leave and return to space.? Zechs said, ?The M.A.E. almost destroyed the ship.? Just then Lady Une ran in and said, ?You guys! You got to see this.? Walking out, Heero notices Wufei leaning against the wall. Heero just gives him a blank look and walks on. Wufei looks at Sally who glares back. They walked in and Une pointed at the monitor. They looked up seeing a news reporter standing somewhere on some colony. The reporter said, ?Just a few hours ago, there was a huge battle that took place on Earth. This battle was a mass movement of Magunac and E.S.U.N. forces that was swiftly defeated. Later, gundams appeared on the scene and searched for survivors. Those same gundams ended the war a few months ago. Upon their search, they were attacked and forced to retreat. Here we have a picture of one of the gundams that did not escape?? A picture of Tallgeese appeared on the screen, and then? Wing 0. Heero felt his heart weaken at the site of his fallen angel. Duo put his hand on Heero?s shoulder saying, ?We managed to save it.? Heero nodded his head and said, ?Look, there?s more.? The reporter continued, ?After the battle, Daniel Peacecraft and his associates, boarded a ship headed for the Sanc colony. Their ship should be leaving the Earth?s atmosphere within the next ten minutes.? Heero glared at the monitor and said, ?Set a coarse to intercept at the colony. Meanwhile, we should give these things some shakedown time.? Everybody walked out of the bridge and through the next room. Noin grabbed Zechs arm and waited until he left. Heero was the last to walk out. Looking back he smiled and closed the door.
Out in space, Wing 0 and Deathscythe fly around chasing each other. Their speeds are much faster then the original gundams and they perform flawlessly. They complete their test and high five each other. Duo steps down and says, ?WOW!? Heero gets off next and says, ?That was something else.? Duo felt something and looked at his hand. His hand was red. He looked at doc. J. and said, ?Why is my hand hurting?? doc. J. said, ?When you are in that harness, you and the fighter are one being. Whatever the fighter feels, you feel. Also, if your fighter is destroyed while you?re still linked, you will go into a comma and die?? Sally said, ?Why is it like that?? Doc. J. said, ?Its an unavoidable side effect? the fighter pilots will have that same weakness.? Quatre said, ?Great, at lest we?ll all have the same weaknesses.? Suddenly, Lady Une came over the intercom and said, ?Guys, they?re here!?
Daniel stood aboard his battleship, The Carrier of Light. The carrier looked like a star destroyer with two diamond shaped sections at the end. Relena sat in her chair under the guard of Dakim. Daniel said, ?Time till we reach the colony?? A soldier said, ?Two hours.? Mautymeia looked at the screen and said, ?Look!? Daniel turned and saw several lights coming towards the ship. Daniel sighed and said, ?Its those fools again. Launch the M.A.E?.? Dakim said in agitation, ?Don?t they ever quit.? As Daniel sat in his chair, one of the soldiers said, ?Sir, there aren?t any mobile suits out there.? Dakim shouted, ?What?s that?? ?They?re other M.A.E. sir!? Daniel chuckled and said, ?Those gundam pilots never cease to amaze me. Dakim, launch the serpents.? ?Yes sir!?
The fighters came out and Duo said, ?They?re coming!? Heero glared at the fighters and said? ?Let them come??
Back on the ship, Sniper Gundam and Alex take defensive positions. Lady Une positions herself and says, ?Its time to die.? And fires.
Among the mass number of fighters, the ace pilot who harassed Heavyarms said, ?So what if these wimps got M.A.E. I can take em all out!? And that?s when a beam went clean through the fighter another destroying it. The fighters hesitated for a moment and attacked at full throttle. Wing 0 was the first to attack. A fighter came up to Wing 0? the fighter jabbed, LEFT, RIGHT, STAB? EXPLOSION! Deathscythe was next. A fighter fired its beam cannon and hit Deathscythe. The fighter said, ?Did I get him?? Another fighter flew up to him and said, ?Did you get him?? At that moment, the fighters exploded. Deathscythe continued when eight fighters attacked. Deathscythe made one huge slash and said, ?This is for my arms!? In a flash, the fighters were cut in half. Sandrock came next doing his double pincer attack and taking four fighters down. Heavyarms attacked plastering the fighters with bullets.
Wing 0 continued to hack and slash until the other custom fighter came in and said, ?I?ve got you now you little punk!? Just then, Nataku came in plowing the fighter out of the way saying, ?Hello little boy?? ?You again! I?ll take you out you big jerk!? Nataku and the fighter begin to duel while Heero makes his way to the ship.
Heavyarms found his nemesis, the fighter that had been bugging him. The fighter said, ?Oh look? a smaller bucket of bullets.? Heavyarms and the fighter started a gun battle, the fighter with a beam rifle, Heavyarms with his gantlines?
Nataku continued to battle with the fighter. This guy was pretty good, and Wufei knocked his saber away and punched him in the face. Shaking it off, the fighter knocks Nataku?s saber away and comes in for the kill. Nataku gets the spear and positions it in his path and the fighter says, ?Aw?? Nataku stabs him and the fighter explodes?
Heavyarms charged his opponent and ripped off his arm. In the control room, the man grips his arm and screams in pain. Another fighter comes in and Heavyarms whacks the fighter with his arm and the man screams, ?Owwww! You son of a?? Heavyarms comes around and plows the guy in the face putting him out. Trowa throws the arm away and points the guns at him. A second later, the fighter?s body is riddled with bullets and explodes.
Wing 0 made his way toward the ship and fires his rifle. The shot grazes the ship and moves to the side. On the bridge, Daniel shouts, ?Evasive maneuvers! Evade that menace!? Just then, Heero came on the screen and said, ?Daniel Peacecraft, surrender and disarm yourself or I will destroy you.? Daniel said, ?I will do no such thing! If you destroy this ship, you will take Relena with it.? Relena got out of her seat and said, ?Heero, don?t worry about me! Destroy him!?
The fighters were starting to get to the ship where Alex and Sniper Gundam retaliated. Sally popped out her wrist machine guns and fired away. Sniper Gundam began firing at the fighters at close range. Une targeted one fighter with the ship behind it and fired?
Heero raised his rifle to fire again when he started to hallucinate. He was bombarded with memories of when he protected Relena? then the memory of the girl and her dog? Heero growled and shot a connected part of the ship that wouldn?t destroy it.
In an instant, one third of the fighters just stopped working. The gundam pilots continued to gain the advantage as they destroyed these fighters who had beaten them before.
Heero smiled and targeted the opposite side of the ship and destroyed the other pod.
Another one third of the fighters were destroyed. The fighters started to group together to survive.
Daniel growled and said, ?You still haven?t won, the last of my troops are in the middle. If you fire at them, you?ll destroy the ship. Now tell your friends to back off or I?ll?? Just then, Tallgeese broke through the doors and looked for Relena. Dakim pulled out his gun and aimed it at him. Tallgeese threw his heat rod knocking his gun away and to the ground. Tallgeese grabbed Relena and ran out of the bridge toward the air lock for a normal suit. Marimaya kneeled down to Dakim saying, ?Dakim!? Dakim said through his failing breath, ?Marimaya? don?t worry about me? get to safety as fast as you can? you must carry out your father?s will?? ?Dakim, I thank you.? Dakim smiled and said, ?I?m just glad you?re alive?? And with that? Dakim collapsed?
Daniel looked the screen with fear in his bright eyes. Heero smiled and waited for Zechs to get out. Daniel knew his goose was cooked, so he decided to run to his control room to make a finale stand.
Tallgeese blasted through the doors with Relena in a normal suit. Wing 0 got ready to fire when a whip came out and clamped on the gun with a magnet. An electrical surge went into the gun overloading it. Wing 0 let go and flew away right before the gun exploded. He pulled out his beam saber and looked around for the fighter that did that.
And then he appeared? A white fighter mixed with blue. It had white reverse V shaped wings and bright blue eyes. On both wrists, a whip with a magnet, stemming strait up from both shoulders, was a holder for three beam cannons. It had head, shoulder, and feet mounted machine guns, a regular V shape antenna and two that stood strait up, and a light blue gem-like dome over the white chest. It had a hyper beam rifle and a beam saber stored under its wrist. It was called? Knight Gundam?
Heero charged him making the first move. Knight Gundam fired both whips at Heero who flew strait up. He slashed his saber witch extended its length and cut both cords.
In the control room, Daniel growled in anger and leaned back.
Knight Gundam leaned back to face Heero and fired his beam rifle. A spray of beams rushed right at Heero who dodged them. Knight Gundam charged him laying down a barrage of beams form his rifle and shoulder weapons. Heero worked his way toward him looking for an opening. Daniel stopped shooting and flew strait for him. Heero poised to attack and at the last second, Daniel bursted up past Heero?s attack and sliced the upper parts of the wings. Heero flew up after him and went after Knight Gundam?s hand. Heero grazed Daniel?s hand witch felt like a blowtorch being drove right into your hand. In a fit of anger, Knight Gundam came down on Heero at full speed. Setting his saber to maximum, he sliced Heero?s whole arm. Just as the arm came off, Wing 0 kicked Knight?s Gundam?s saber out of his hand. Heero fired machine guns and Daniel backed off. Daniel straitened up in the control harness and smiled. Heero stood clenching his shoulder? his brain was screaming in pain convinced he lost his arm. Daniel chuckled and said? ?Funnels??
The room around Daniel filled with lights and computers activating. The six beam cannons popped out of the holders and opened up. They flew over to Heero he tried to destroy them. He missed one and it got ready to fire. Just then, Tallgeese came up and called, ?Heero! Relena?s safe!? A second later? the funnel fired? Wing 0 lit up into a ball of flames as the beam went strait through the heart. Seeing the explosion, Relena cried, ?Heero! No!? She bursted into tears when a hand touched her shoulder.
Daniel laughed and said, ?So much for him?? Tallgeese came in saying, ?Daniel! This is Milliardo Peacecraft! You are no longer king of the Sanc kingdom? tell your forces to stand down and surrender now!? Daniel said, ?When you gave up your position, you relinquished command to me. I will not allow you to reclaim the throne? even if that means destroying you?? ?In such a fight, you would not survive?? ?Lets find out! Funnels! Get him!? Tallgeese ripped out his saber and tried to hit the funnel, but it was just to fast. All Zechs could see was a blur white as he barely managed to dodge the beams. Daniel said, ?Goodbye little brother??
The funnel faked Zechs and got right in his face. Daniel shouted, ?Fire!? And then? an angel rose from below with wings spread... Daniel turned around and saw the massive green eyes that shot right into his heart. Wing 0 came around in between Tallgeese and Knight Gundam and him as hard as Heero?s true gundam could. The force knocked Knight Gundam into the ship denting the hull. Daniel started to lean forward when Heero?s face come in view. Heero death glared Daniel and pulled Wing 0?s massive twin buster rifle. Daniel pleaded with Heero saying, ?Don?t!? Heero said nothing with his death glare still there. Heero fixed his view saying, ?Locked onto the target?? and fired? Daniel screamed in horror as the beam vaporized him and went clean through the ship. A second later, the entire ship exploded? just as the part of Libra did, in exploded into a bright light.
Heero sat in his cockpit still death glaring the empty space. Heero looked at his control panel for a second and tapped the controls. Wing 0 put away the rifle and turned toward Tallgeese. Tallgeese just floated in space with the funnel drifting near him. Heero said, ?Are you alright?? ?Ya?? The other gundams came up to Tallgeese and looked each other over to see if they were alright.
Floating in space, Marimaya?s escape capsule was towed in where Sally greeted her. Watching as Sally pulled the sobbing Marimaya out of the capsule, Wufei said, ?It looks like Earth hasn?t changed after all?? Trowa came up to him and said, ?Wufei, as long as there are hearts that hope for peaceful world, there will be peace?? Wufei just looked at Trowa? he didn?t say anything?
Heero stood on the bridge of the ship watching the fighters float in space. Relena walked up to him and said, ?Heero? thank you?? ?You don?t have to thank me, I was merely protecting you.? Relena walked around to the front of him and said, ?Hey?? Relena put her hand on Heero?s face and kissed him. Heero didn?t say anything. Relena walked off looking back into the eyes of Heero?s blank face. Heero touched the part of his face that Relena touched feeling the warmth left by Relena?s hand. Heero turned around and closed his eyes. He opened them with a new look on his face. Heero looked out into space? He heard the door close and looked back. He saw Relena had left, he smiled at the door and looked back outside. From outside, Heero just stared for a minute, and turned, and went after Relena?
The science ship turned and headed towards the colonies, a new era of peace has been ushered in?
After colony 196? peace? has returned to the people. And from this point in history, weapons called mobile suits, including the gundams and M.A.E. Were never seen again?
