Carrot

Little musing from my brain ^_^

"Heero?" Relena asked, taking her eyes away from the road in front of her to stare at him.
"Hm?" came his reply, just enough sound to indicate continuation.
"Do you like carrots?"
He raised an eyebrow. "They?re a root, rich in beta carotene, and they have properties which are good for eyesight. No blind rabbits according to legend."
"Hmm."
The silence spun like a car on ice, until they were aware of it to distraction.
"Why?"
The look he sent her was somewhat incredulous, and she smiled, leaning her head against the window. "Curiosity killed the carrot."

And my lesson grasshopper...Too much seriousness killed the college student.
