Blissful Ignorance

alright I dunno if this is working, I'm a new person and this is just a practice post. so if it suck in your opinion its ok I think it does(I really hope this works)*hits head on keyboard

Earths companion



The earth singing a soft lullaby
laying me down to sleep
but all I can think about
is space
your eyes blinking at me from the stars
your hand wipeing my tears
the gentle caress of the wind
cooling my jumbled thoughts of you
out here on this balcony I can be closer to you
the stars are calling my name
I hear your voice in them
clear as light an day
you have no idea what I want from you
just someone to understand me
I'm not as perfect as they want me to be
thoughts of failure set in, and all I can think about is giving
but then I look to the stars, and space and don't feel lone all over again
I know your there your earth's silent companion
and will hold on till the end





Please review. Oh and I know the poems a little stinking but I?m working on it *smiles* oh me no sadly or I would keep them in my closet
