Ah, well. Just enjoy the fic!
Title: The Impulse Test
WC: 192 (Necessary for the story)
This was a test, right? It got to be, or else the impulse wouldn?t be so tempting.
There was no rule that forbade him from doing it, and yet he had been told not to do undue harm on others. Thus that was why he wasn?t acting upon it. But then again, he had been told that if he got a good result, he would be rewarded. So if he did what his impulse told him to do, then won?t it be good?
It was so tempting. It was beckoning him to do it.
Do it. Do it. Do it.
Unnoticed by the others, he crept behind the man. He reached up and?
?OW!!?
The man turned, bringing along the others? attentions.
He gave the innocent look.
The man took his injured braid and frowned at him.
?Heero, that wasn?t nice.?
His father went to him and got down on his hunches.
The two stared at each other solemnly.
Now he?d done it. His papa was going to chastise him.
His father put his hand on the top of his head.
?Good job, son.?
He blinked. Then he smiled.
?Thank you, Papa.?
