Well, this just came up.

Groaning, the blond man looked around at the group staring at him. All of them were grinning at him, including the man that was his rival and, at this he mentally shuddered, brother-in-law.

It became worst when that person spoke the obvious.

?You failed.?

The blond man was not amused. He glared at him, then he encompassed the others. Even his own sister was against him.

?You shouldn?t had taken that test, brother.?

Before he could reply, his wife entered the scene.

?What is going on here??

The group parted to let the woman through. She stared at him, first in shock and then in amusement.

?I see you took the test, dear.?

He groaned.

?I hate that Japanese show*!!?


* Pertaining to the Japanese show where two groups compete against each other in various events, like the one that each person swings from a rope and tries to plant their body on the board or fall down on the mud. I think it is called Takachi Castle.

Ah yes, they have a dubbed over version on Spike TV. I believe they call it Most extreme elimanation challenge or something.

Yes, they do. My bro hates the dubbing. But it is a great show, and funny to boot!

i don't think i quite understood this drabble.

Think of it this way.
Zechs, being the macho person that he is in this dc, can ace any test. Even a stupid stunt test where ppl swing from a rope and try to make thyself stick to this board to earn points. So Zechs thinks that it is easy, and thus agrees to the test. (I'm calling it a test for him.) He takes it and fails to stick himself on the board and falls down on the mud pit. Thus, his perfect record (to his eyes) of passing tests becomes void.
Now he thinks that Takachi Castle is silly. So he thinks that the events can be easily surpassed. He is proven wrong.
I hope that gives u some understanding, Miroku. Otherwise, u need to watch the show to figure out what I'm talking about.
