Disclaimer: I put it on my Christmas list *hoping that Santa will come through*
Title: Perspective
Word Count: 120 (I've come to the conclusion that I cannot write 100 and less, as this was in fact cut down from 150!!!!)
Rating: PG
Pairings: Relena/Stranger--- er (maybe not---but... he does have a sick fascination with the girl!!!)
Not these last six months did he finally achieve where others could not. Nameless he would remain when the world would hear his accomplishment--- but he did not need the glory or the envy.
It was worth it--- she was too perfect--- too good that he could not believe that she save the world--- save him.
She would be the downfall of everyone and yet the people protected the very weapon that would destroy them--- Relena.
But it hardly mattered that they were blind. He would save them all.
A twisted smile curled his lips as his gaze trailed along the blood-splattered walls--- turning; he made his way to crowded streets where he became yet another face in a crowd.
*Authors Note: There were a couple definitions of envy in my dictionary... and I don't want you to be fooled by my usage of the word envy in this drabble as that was not the part playing to the challenge. He saw her as the eptimone of perfection--- something which isn't looked to kindly on, but which people in society try to achieve. (Envy: discontent and ill will over ones advantages, possessions, qualities, etc.)
Thanks for reading.
