MY PRISON OF INSANITY poem belongs to a friend

Disclaimer: My friend wrote this when she was really down in the dumps.
I think this is an excellent poem for Heero's POV

Relena hadn't seen or heard from Heero since the marimeia incident. Since she asked him to live a normal life. Even now, his expressionless eyes hunted her soul. They both had agreed not to be around one another, not to see one another, for peace. Relena was still healing from that painful goodbye.
Pagan walked into her room with the mail. 1 was from Preventer hq. The other, was from Heero.
Tearing into that one first, a picture of him and her dropped onto her lap. Reading the letter first, Relena noted that it was a poem.
Mind's always spinning with bad thoughts and good
My silent misery and loneliness keeps me a prisoner
My bars are things I've done in the past that keep from living a normal life
My chains are the secrets I dare not speak
My locks are the actions I desire to make, but hold back
Each day I grow weary and weak
as my bars, chains, and locks contain my emotions and life
As they devour upon them, but I fear I will
Soon I will break, I will not fight
Nothing seems to comfort me, as my soul screams in agony
Freedom is so distant
A memory that once kept me in contempt
No longer do I recall what freedom was like
As my life slips away day by day
Disintegrated is my hope, destruction surrounds me
All the choices I've made
All the people I've hurt
Why won't my heart fogive myself?
Why won't my mind forget?
Tears that no longer exist
for I have used them all when I once was in control
would have gave me sign of my emotion
I have no knowledge of my feelings except that I am trapped
Screams and images that used to frighten
are the memories that remain
My brain throbs
in a desperate, frantic attempt to regain control as does my soul
I will surrender
I have no fight left in my fragile body, mind and soul
My madness ends!
Guilt stabbed through her. If she hadn't told him to start living, or try to...
Opening the preventer letter, she scanned it and tears fell from her eyes. "Oh, god...No..."

Dear Relena,
The man you know as Heero Yuy was found dead in his apartment. The cause of death was suicide. This letter was adressed to you.

I felt angsty...
hope you enjoy.
