Yasha: who here hates kikyou?!!? shes a pot and she tries to kill Inuyasha!! *raises a torch* kill the pot!!

Yasha: common, someone has to hate her!!!

Kik: =P I'm special! no one hates me!

yasha: *gathers MDS SGS and Kagome* wanna bet?

Kik:

MDS: *gets sword and starts slashing her*

SGS: *screams and makes Kikyou deaf*

Kagome: *hits Kikyou with an arrow*

Every1: YAY!!!

Okay- okay, I'm not a fan of her--- and I never will be, but the girl is most certainly essential to the Inuyasha storyline. It wouldn't be interesting without the girl--- where would be the drama between Kagome and Inuyasha... I love all the angst between the two.

And Kikyo--

She's such a mystery, and you never know what she's going to do next, which if not for that--- I might too want her killed.

Okay, I admit that those instances when nobody was sure if she was still alive (zombie alive that is) that I was nowhere near shedding a tear.

So--- knowing a good majority of us do not like the character, I will stand on the side that says we much keep this girl alive....

...as alive as Kikyo can be!!!! (But I repeat--- I don't like her. She's icky...)

Actually, I prefer not to comment about Kikyo. I don't hate her nor do I like her. Let me re-phrase that: I don't like her. I don't despise her that much that I would say I hate her, but neither do I feel neutral about her. In other words, my feelings toward Kikyo is between neutrality and hating her, if you want to put it that way.
Though she is essential to the story, I'll always root for Kagome. Enough said.

It would be hypocritical of me to say that Kikyo sucks, seeing as how the name Relena seems to have a negative conotation in fandom quite often.
With that said, you can now all call me a hypocrite because I can't stand her. Maybe 'her' is the wrong term...'it' fits better. What I detest is the zombie taking woman's form. Poor stupid Inu Yasha...you think that's really kikyo...SHE'S MADE OF DIRT! She's/it's not a real person, so I guess it isn't so bad that she is disliked...and she's/it's an attempted murderer...BAH. That whole bit urks me. I really cant wait for Kikyo to leave the show in whatever manner it happens. :x and there should be more IxK cuteness...hmmm...let's start a petition ^_^

I agree, she is not my faorite character, however she is essential. i would like Inu Yasha And kagome to be together, but yeah... when she was aive, like in Inu Yasha's flashbacks of her, she was cool. And I pity her, though she is not my favorite. She's my four year old sister's favorite. So there is one person rooting for Inu YashaxKikyo, my four year old sister. Throw her out of town! Yeah anyways.

I actually think Kikyo's cool. I just don't like the resurrected thing that people take as THE kikyo, when it's not her- just dirt and bones trying to take kagome's soul and kill inuyasha.
