Blissful Ignorance

it seems we're all just strangers
stuck in the same space
brushing up against eachother
running around a maze

and we leave eachother hanging
on to their own lonely ropes
don't bother none about calling
don't bother none with hopes

what are we, really?
what are we to you?

walk aways
aren't we all
just the
walk aways

leaving when it pleases you
dragging around your story
doing what you have to do
stalking after that glory

dying when it pleases you
only breathing when necessary
doing what you have to do
to defeat that old adversary

leaving behind stains of blood
for someone else to slip on
falling tears and crimson flood
we all build lies to dream on

freedom is just beyond that door

there's nothing more to live for

just let if fall?

Wow! Great poem. It was so deep and thoughtful. I worship the Spike and Faye coupling, too! I took the quiz, and I got Adieu. Huh. Cool!

Everybody here is so Spike/Faye, which I do not mind 'cause it's fun to read, but where are all the Spike/Julia's?

Good poem, too, Raine. It felt like Spike, Faye, Vicious, and Julia were sharing the same emotional thought.
