Blissful Ignorance

This is a Heero Relena peice based on my reaction to A Perfect Circles "The Package"

Oh Yah! GW is not mine and neither is A Perfect Circle, I don't think I could handle them anyway. This work is simply my Heero-Relena biased interpreted reaction to "The Package"

Yours to Bitter End

I?m walking down the hallway
Of this place I?ve never been
Driven by a passion

Open close the door soft
And you look at me to grin
I came here to remember
Now you?re happy once again

I node and ask permission
Inclined to let you in
No need for all pretence
You won?t ask me to pretend
Drawing ever closer
Think your comfort is a sin
We?re taking what is needed, and we start the dance again

I came to suppress the monster
I came to feel once more
I lie and take you here
But can I leave when I am through

Eyes that are my master
I?m not trying to pretend
Life is just a whisper
Now compared to where we?ve been
Cause I?m walking down this hallway

This is a fist post for me, and although I'm a very avid poetry writer, no one has ever seen my work. You are my debut audience so replies whether encouraging, criticizing or even the very rare praise would be nice. Thanks for your time and your assiduity.

And here a bit or irrelevant information.

Wether is the term used for a castrated ram.

I don't read a lot of poetry but I liked this a lot and will read more of yours if you post.

Thank you for the feedback and support. Unfortunatly I've hit a brick wall (litteraly, Pink Floyds 'The Wall' has been stuck in my head for a week) when it comes to insperation. I might try a fic based on this poem but I'm not a very good writer and it would pobably be angst. Gah! I hate angst, but it's just so damn good.
