Blissful Ignorance

So, I've recently fallen in love with GTO. It's like... a perfect mixture of humor and drama. I've seriously laughed my ass off and held back tears while reading it.

Anyone else read the manga or seen the anime? Moreover, anyone know of any fanfiction? According to sales, the manga is pretty popular so I figured there'd be more fanfics floating around.

I wouldn't mind seeing an eps or two of the anime, from what I read about it before, it didn't seem too bad.

I absolutely ADORE GTO. I haven't read the manga yet though I am planning to buy it, but I have the complete anime. It's one of the few titles I would always have to preorder the next volume because I just couldn't wait for it to arrive in the local stores.

I think it's the most "interactive" anime I've ever watched as well. What I mean is that it always managed to provoke a strong emotional response, from falling off the furniture from laughing so hard to biting my nails in suspense to nearly bursting into tears at some of the more poignant scenes to rampaging around the house throwing a fit when Onizuka and Fuyutsuke's almost kiss got interrupted.

I looked for fanfiction months ago and couldn't find anything worth mentioning. I think I came across a few scenes and oneshots scattered through other forums (don't remember where, sorry), but there was nothing that managed to keep the original feel of the series.

It's a great series and really deserves some excellent fanfiction. I may try to write one for it myself someday but I've got too many other incompleted fics right now to take on anohter one.
