"It's been five years."

"I had to find my way in life."

"You couldn't do that here?" she had a mix of anger and longing.

He gently lifted her chin until their eyes met.

"I'm sorry for leaving." He noticed the ring on her hand, "Five years is a long time..."

"Long enough for me to find my own way."

"I see." All the emotion that had been in his voice was gone.

"Goodbye Heero."

He walked off, nothing was left to say.

Awww . . . that was all sad and syrupy. I liked it a lot. I don't know if all the question marks were on purpose, but either way, I liked the writing and was glad to see Relena hadn't let her obsession with Heero get in the way of living a normal life. Nice job, Adaon.

Oh, that was wonderful. Just the kind of response i was looking for. Great job on this, Adaon. Relena was smart enough to know that she didn't have to act like an idiot by waiting for him for that long and instead found her own happiness. She deserved it and Heero deserved what he got. Woohoo!
