Blissful Ignorance

Hi y'all! Alright now I've heard news around about Full Metal Panic! Season 2. Most of you have seen FMP! Season 1 in the Jap. subtitled and Im sure you guys cant wait to see some more! I know I cant wait!

I was hoping if anyone had any information about it. I did see that the Season 2 of FMP was supposedly starting April 2003 -I think. Its already August 2003 and I havn't found any news or info from it! If someone does have any info, pics, anything. Please tell me.. I need more fan service!!!

Not a lot of info has been released in English about the series, beyond the write up in Newtype USA a few months ago. Basically, this focuses less on the dramatic action and military stuff and more on comedic highschool hijinks. I think they're animating a lot of the stories from the original novel that didn't make it into the original series.

The series was supposed to start in April (or something...) but the date has been pushed back to late August. August 25th or something, I forget. Sometime around there. It was originally supposed to be 11 episodes but they're cutting one because it involves a kidnapping that mirrors recent events in Japan.

there's a season 2??? i thought it was only season one. wow. cool. i can't wait for it 2 be subtitled and brought to the US.

Hay you just want anything that remotly involves Soyske don't you Fanwhipper. You are funny at tims and i wish I could hang out with you to watch the entire season 2 whe you get it, but by the time you do get all the episodes i should be able to see you again

i've only seen a little of season 1 through my friend, but do you guys no where i can get both season 1 and season two if and when it comes out? i'm a bit broke even witha job

it's so much funnier than the first series ^_^

Yeah, I noticed that this series seems a lot more lighthearted than the first season. I like the change, personally, but a small part of me wants there to be just a little bit more of the original elements there :-? Oh well, I don't know for sure that it won't turn out that way. Oh, and I absolutely ADORE the little marching chibis on the ending credits, they're all so cute!!!!!!!11 I love the way Sousuke acts at the end of ep. 3. Come on, people, write a response to this, will ya? You know you want to!

First of all, I'm really glad it has the same voice actors and animators...though the animation doesn't seem to be as high of quality as the first season. And it is funny, but I prefer the first season. I miss the action and the single, exciting storyline. But, the first one was so great, I'd watch the second season even if it was just Sousuke sitting on his bunk reading technical manuals.

Yeah I do like the marching chibis.. Kawaii!! And It is funny. I like the animation in both we just havnt gotten any M9 action or anything so it shard to see any difference really yet. But it still is great. Ofcourse Sousuke does seem even more of a war-minded otaku! But. maybe we just miss those silly school scenes from the manga with Sousuke's crazy stunts. That first episode is hilarious and I think Kaname looks so awesome. Well she did in the first but still. Yeah Im rambling.. but blah!
