Thank you again DragonQueen!
All's Fair in Love and War: Chapter 7
Relena was looking out of an airplane window for the second time that week. She sipped dejectedly at her Coke. It had been months since she?d had a vacation, and wished it would stay that way. How could she try to figure out the mystery if she was a few thousand miles away? Milliardo certainly hadn?t been much help since this was mostly his idea.
He had even insisted she leave her laptop behind.
?Well, if he wants to play that game.?
Her plan so far was to sleep for a few hours, swim and do other vacationy things, just enough to convince him she could go home. She was 17, and still her brother had the nerve to control her life. She felt like such a teenager.
Well, okay, she was a teenager, but she certainly wasn?t a normal one.
?Minister??
Relena looked up, half expecting a mop of brown hair. ?Yes??
?We?re almost there, so please put your seat belt on,? the girl said in a nervous tone.
?Of course. Thanks,? she replied noting the friendlier service than last time.
She smirked.

Heero stared at a white ceiling again. This time though, he didn?t care. He had spent the last five hours in a hospital bed, and another hour with her sitting next to him.
Her.
She was beginning to get on his nerves. Why couldn?t she just die instead of making his life miserable? Granted, she had saved it a few times.
Cursing, Heero sat up. The door opened.
Heero looked over, half expecting a blonde with a torn dress, but a timid nurse stood there with a bouquet of roses.
?Er.. Mr. Yuy??
He gave a small nod.
She placed them on the table and fled. Heero smirked, glad that even injured he could generate fear. He looked questionably at the flowers, then at the ones (still alive), next to his bed.
But still, he?d never received roses before. He picked up the roses. A small card fell into his lap, and he picked it up.
?If you?re still following me, try ?L-4.?
?Following her?!?' He was not following her. For one thing, he was always a step ahead. 'Well, most of the time.?
Getting himself out of the bed, Heero threw the flowers onto his growing pile. He walked almost undetected down the corridors, half noticing the awed stares.
Finding what he was searching for, Heero punched in a few numbers. A short pause, ?Quatre.?

Relena felt the world spinning around her, as she got caught up in the heavy flow of people. Looking around desperately, she gave a long sigh.
?Airports.?
Pushing her way through the crowd, Relena half wished she wasn?t a pacifist. Not that she was a total pacifist anymore, but she didn?t believe in randomly hitting people.
And that?s exactly what she wanted to do.
But she finally caught sight of a blonde head. Her heart leapt up.
?Excuse me.. terribly sorry..?
At the sound of her voice, people cleared a path for her and she smiled.
There was a grinning Quatre with a sign that read ?Princess.?
Laughing, she ran over to him and engulfed him in a hug. Blushing Quatre returned the embrace, but whispered into her ear, ?Relena, the headlines..?
Sniggering, she pulled back and winked. ?Oh, honestly, Quatre. They write them anyway.?
He smiled, and offered her his arm. Relena took it, and returned the smile.

Book and towel in hand, Relena popped her head into Quatre?s room. He looked up and quickly cleared the vidphone screen.
?Come in.?
She stepped inside, saying ?I?m going down to the beach for awhile. Wanna come??
At this point, his face had turned crimson. Relena, who was usually conservative, stood in Quatre?s bedroom wearing a very small blue bikini. She gave him a confused frown.
?Something wrong??
He shook his head, but couldn?t tear his eyes away. Relena noticed this and laughed.
?Don?t worry. I?m expecting company. Thought he could use a good surprise.?
He spluttered, ?But, how did you-? He looked at the screen and back at Relena. Grinning, she replied, ??Cause I invited him.?
Quatre smiled, and shook his head.
?I take that as a no??
He nodded. ?I?ve got plenty of work to do. You two have fun.?
Relena nodded and left with a wave. Quatre smirked, and continued to shake his head.
?Heero, what have you gotten yourself into..?
********************************************************************
Relena beamed like a little girl. It had been ages since she had been to a beach. For the past few hours, she ran barefoot in the surf, swam, and wrote words in the sand. Exhausted, she lay on her towel reading a romance novel.
After reading the same passage over and over, she tossed it aside and fell asleep.
A few minutes later, Relena woke up to distant sounds of shuffling feet. Smiling into her towel, she waited.
The feet came to rest near the edge of her towel, and a rough voice cleared its throat. Rolling over on her side, her sparkling blue eyes met wide Prussian ones.
?Hello, Heero.?
He grunted, trying to swallow the growing lump in his throat. And he was failing.
Relena grinning with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Heero looked like he would burn up in his jeans and white shirt.
?We?ll just have to do something about that.?
Heero had yet to take his eyes off her. His brain was telling him to run for it, but the messages were not quite reaching his legs. Sure, he had seen her taking showers before, but that had been when he was protecting her. It was a little different now that he was trying to kill her, and when her near naked body was so close. Also her eyes were looking at him so attentively.
?Wait a minute!?
Coughing, he ripped his eyes away.
Relena giggled, and jumped up. Taking off towards the water, she had more than invited him to follow. Heero found himself trampling through ?RYs? and hearts as he pursued her. Trying to understand what was happening, he didn?t even see it coming.
There was Relena, barely covered, smiling at him while splashing in cold water.
Something snapped.
Relena?s eyes widened when Heero wrapped his arms around her with a very determined look on his face. She tried to say something along the lines of ?What are you doing? and ?Why, this feels nice?, but was cut off by his lips touching hers.
This was about when all reasonable thoughts stopped.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, and pressed her lips back against his. Heero pulled back a little and opened his mouth, finding that he rather liked the sensation. He could feel Relena?s curves on his chest, and couldn?t stop his hands from touching everything within reach. Her fingertips ran through his hair and he felt her tongue touch his.
Heero suddenly felt that his jeans were way too tight, and not just because he had a gun his pocket.
?Gun!?
His eyes flew open, and he backed away like he had been slapped. Relena frowned at him, not exactly wanting to stop. She stepped towards him a little, only to be pushed away.
Her jaw dropped and her rage flared. Heero saw her eyes flame, and feared for his life.
Splash.
Heero found himself sitting in cold water while Relena stormed off.
Heero sighed while waves crashed down onto his tight jeans. ?Needed a cold shower anyway.?
Thank you again DragonQueen!
