Now here is my answer to Drabble Challenge #3. Again, the father is mentioned. And this is 100 words exactly. Same goes to the prequel.
The News of Labor

Waggle of steps.
Stops and looks down.
A puddle of water.
?I?m in labor.?
A mass of feet shuffling ensued as people rushed toward the pregnant woman. Too concerned for the woman, no one heard the silent thud that occurred after the news.
Calmly led the people from crushing her down. Looks around for the father.
?Where?s Heero??
Frantic looks for the young man, who was unconscious on the floor. Finally the father was located and awakens.
?Couldn?t deal, huh??
Whack.
The famous phrase.
?Heero!?
A pause, and then a rush out the house toward the hospital.
?He deserved it.?
