Disclaimer: Undam-gay Ing-way oes-day ot-nay elong-bay o-tay e-may. (I'm tired of the same old disclaimer every single time)
As probably expected, here's my contribution to the third drabble challenge. While this wasn't natural labor, it still falls into that category and, I feel, is important enough to write about.

One Month
One month. It'd seemed like forever at the time, and then it was gone. One month, she'd been anticipating and suffering. She'd heard the horrors of labor. Now Relena'd give anything for it.
Heero sat at her bedside. It'd been hell for him, too. But it was over.
The nurse placed a bundle in Relena's arms. "Hi!" It was all Relena could say, but it felt right. Heero stood, guarding them, as always. She stroked her treasure's head. She was here. Suddenly, Relena was glad she didn't have to wait. The baby stared, wide eyed, as her parents let out the breaths they'd been holding for one month.
