Last Dance
I'm glad I got to dance with you before the night went to ruins. It was a fitting end, though I was surprised. I'd expected something different.
It's a strange dance that you and I have. You keep twirling me, flinging me away. But you don't just leave me on the floor, you keep pulling me back. I'm sorry if I step on your toes.
Yes, it's fitting that the last dance of the night was with you. I wish it hadn't been cut short. But next time you find yourself at a dance, seek me out. I'd be happy to continue where we left off.
