She always left me at the door with a kiss. It was always sweet.

Today, it had been different. Sweeter. Deeper. It had lingered too, as if she was memorizing the blend of our mouths. She had shaken me with that kiss. I should?ve known then.

A drunk driver. Years of hesitation and one unforgettable month destroyed by one stupid person.

If I hadn?t been so bull-headed, denying the love she willingly gave to me, the heart she wore on her sleeve? our life together would?ve been longer.

But I know she would?ve told me it was still worth it.

The run-down of the story is, Heero's reflecting about how he should have known that that day was his and Relena's last day together. She dies in a car accident with a drunk driver. He's alone now, the poor guy...

oh, the angst bug hit again. i am sooo very envious. i can't believe you had such difficulty because those 100 words are just flawless. and they're exactly 100 words! man, mine was 116! lol. great job Naus! emotional and provocative.
