1xR/6x9 FANZINE!!! Click me, you know you want to...

Katy Jupiterstar and Chihiru are putting together a 1xR/6x9 fanzine. For those of you who don't know what a fanzine is, it's an online magazine type thingy. Yes, I'm a technical writer. No, I don't speak Tech-lish. It's an online magazine type THINGY.

"a fanzine is like an electronic magazine centered around a specific genre, done by the fans. We were inspired by the Smallville fanzines Summer Lovin and Winter Wonderland".

"This fanzine is entitled Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, and the theme is Billy Joel lyrics and songs somehow incorporated into art and fics. The pairings are HeeroxRelena and ZechsxNoin."

WE NEED FANFICTION AND FANART! Your submission can be focused on EITHER 1xR or 6x9 or BOTH. Your contribution MUST in some way use the lyrics of a Billy Joel song. ANY Billy Joel song. Doesn't matter. Some portion of the lyrics must show up in either the fic or the artwork.

Hmm...interesting. How long can the fics be? Are we talking one shots or a huge epic? Don't want to submit something that has to be turned down because it's too long. You know, this may be just what I need to get off my lazy bum and start writing.

According to the info I have, there's no limitation on length. Just the time frame.

Whatcha wanna know? We've had a couple of people offer to do fics since posting the notice, and we need more!

Will it be monthly, weekly or what?

Right now, they're looking at twice a year because the fics are new and whatnot. But if it gets enough of a readership and writer submission base, maybe it could come out more often, like quarterly. We just need fics! And fanart! *pokes*
