Heres my first short humor fic.

**Duo wakes up to another fine day at the house he shares with Hilde**
**He goes down stairs and Hilde is making pudding**

Duo: Whatcha' Doin'?

Hilde: Good afternoon, Sleepyhead (kisses Duo on cheek), I decided to mix-up some butterscotch pudding.

Duo: I've always wondered about something....

Hilde: Wondered what?

Duo: Is there such a word as "Pudd"? I mean Buildings get their name because someone builds them. So, do you pudd something to make pudding?

Hilde: What the... (sigh) My head hurts. Duo why don't you go visit your friends while I finish cooking.

Duo: OK Puddin'

**Duo kisses Hilde and leaves**

**At a peace conference Relena is givivg a speech. Heero is watching over her from a distance as her bodyguard**

Heero: (thinking to himself) Relena is just so cute and adorable when she's being assertive. I can't wait until this afternoon when we can relax and snuggle....

Duo: (appearing out of nowhere) HEY HEERO!!!

Heero: (aims gun at Duo) What the hell do you want?!

Duo: If you build a building, do you pudd a pudding?

**Heero says nothing. He simply keeps his gun focused at Duo as he takes the safety off**

**Duo backs away slowly**

**Meanwhile Relena continues her speech**

Relena: Peace should continue to be...

Duo: HEY LENA!!!

Relena: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!! I'M MAKING A SPEECH!!

Duo: I was just wondering, If you build a building, do you pudd a pudding?

Relena: UGH!

**Just then a bullet barely misses Duo. He recognizes it as a warning shot from Heero**

Duo: Uh...Never mind I'll leave. (runs away)

**At preventer HQ Wufei does his paperwork**

Duo: (from nowhere) HEY WU-MAN!!!

WuFei: Don't call me that! What do you want?!!

Duo: What does "Pudd" mean?

WuFei: WHAT?!!

Duo: I mean, If you build a building, do you pudd a pudding?

WuFei: (chases Duo out of his office with his sword) HOW DARE YOU WASTE MY VALUEABLE TIME WITH THAT RIDICULOUS QUESTION!!!!

**In a circus tent, Trowa is preparing for his next show**

Duo: Hey Trowa!!

Trowa: Oh hello Duo. come in.

Duo: I was just wondering, Is Pudding just a gerund of "Pudd"

Trowa: N?

Duo: They call it pudding. Does that mean you pudd something?

Trowa: Duo, Please leave.

**At the Winner Mansion, there's a knock on the door**

Quatre: Come in

**Duo Enters room**

Quatre: Oh, Hi Duo! Whats up?

Duo: I was just wondering, Do they call it pudding because you "pudd" something?

Quatre: you know... That's a good question. (Blank stare)

**Duo passes his hand over Quatre's eyes and realizes He's completely out of it. **

**Duo returns home disappointed. Heero and Relena are there (snuggling on the couch, of course), and Hilde serves the pudding**

Quatre: (bursts in) I've figured out the answer to your question Duo!

Duo: That's great Quatre! So what is it?

Quatre: The answer is. (backhands Duo) WHAT THE HELL KIND OF STUPID QUESTION IS THAT????!!!!

Well, I don't have any other ficlets yet, because most of my fanfiction time is spent on a GW/TMNT crossover I'm working on. But, I might just have time to write another short ficlet soon.

ok, I'm not really one to really participate on this site, but after reading this I just had to reply.

This is one the funniest things I have read in a long time, and it's a very interesting question to ponder.

Although, I am aftraid that the answer to this question is the same as it is to the famous "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie-roll pop?"

No one will ever know.

My father made a joke about Pudding based on that question a few years ago, and when I wanted to write a GW ficlet about Duo seeking the answer to a silly question, it just came to me.
