Er. Angst.

Random angst that was done for this idea I was mulling over. So here it is. It's another short-ish angsty no names fic.

Sight

He saw?

Bullet from the gun.

Running.

Faster then ever before. Desperation giving new strength to powerful limbs. Jostling them all out of the way. Faster. Had to go faster.

Sprinting.

Lungs almost bursting as he skidded to her. She was so close. He had to make it. Had to. He heard yells but ignored them. Too much at stake.

Shoving.

She sprawled across the floor. Twisted ankle? Who cares, better then death. A sudden flash of pain in his chest, cold as ice

Falling.

Thud. He could feel the numbness, spreading over his body. He absently touched his fingers to his chest; they came away wet.

Gasping.

She was suddenly crouched over him, her eyes wide, her face pale. She was crying. He reached a hand out to comfort her.

Tiring.

He touched his wet hand to her face gently. She stared at him, ignoring the smear of red across her cheek. He felt his breath shorten.

Freezing.

He tried to call her name, but his chest seemed weighted with lead. He watched her breakdown, slipping away as she cried.

He saw no more.

She saw?

A empty pill bottle.

Crying.

She wandered to her bed, lay down, trying not to laugh hysterically. He was gone, she was gone. She was so selfish.

Paling.

She should have stayed, should have held out the peace. But they didn?t need her anymore, right? She was obsolete.

Numbing.

It was too late now. She had decided she could not live without him. Six pills. Six six six. Devil?s number? Sick sick sick.

Slipping.

They had promised her. It wouldn?t take too long. Not too painful. She couldn?t take physical pain. Not like him.

Sighing.

Zechs would come soon. It?d be too late. She closed her eyes and let the sleepy feeling spread over her. She would see him soon.

Smiling.

She could feel cold fingers sweep up her torso, stealing her warmth. And the world would go on. It always had before.

She saw no more.

A very emotional and sad fanfic. I LOVED IT! Your writing style is fantastic. It really did justice to the story. Thank you for sharing this. :)

Two death fics in one day..... I should be nicer to myself.... but it such a compelling read. (This is a complement! I promise!) I enjoyed reading it, it was indeed simply expressed and yet still powerful. I feel so bad whenever one or both of them dies in something, though....
