Gruel Runnings (GW/ TMNT Crossover): Prolouge

Notes: The version of TMNT I'm using is the original underground comic book that the whole
franchise (including the cartoon) was originally based on. Check out

for details. This takes place 2 years after Endless Waltz in the Gundam universe and
between Issue 11 and "Return to New York" in the TMNT Universe.
In the year A.C. 198, in a laboratory belonging to a new organization called "Neo-OZ",
a scientist named Dr. Avanti was working on his new project: a dimensional transporter! As
he was Building the prototype he received a vid phone call. It was the Neo-OZ leader Quivaro
"How is the project progressing Dr. Avanti?", asked Quivaro. "Perfectly!", replied Dr. Avanti,
"We currently have two versions, both fully operational!". "Why two versions?", asked Quivaro.
"One is stationary and the other is portable", answered Dr. Avanti. "Were about to test the
stationary system now", He added. "Excellent!", exclaimed Quivaro, "Call me back when the test
is done", he added as he disappeared from the screen.
Meanwhile, in another universe, a Ninja clan called "The Foot", is eating lunch. "Rice
Gruel, again", one foot solder said. "I don't mind. I love rice gruel", responded another foot
soldier. Just then, a portal opened, and out stepped several soldiers in Napoleonic clothing.
One shouted, "We claim this area in the memory of Treize Kushrenada: His Excellency!". But, a
Shredder Elite responded with, "We are the warriors of Oroku Saki: The Shredder! We do not bow
down to the likes of you!!!!!", and attacked! And so, an all-out battle between the Foot and
the OZ soldiers raged on.
Several minutes later, after the battle, a certain figure in bladed steel armor arrived
to see the dead Neo-OZ Soldiers. "This is a declaration of war on the Foot Clan!!!!!!", said an
enraged Shredder. As he gathered his elite and one hundred of his toughest men and entered the
still-open portal.
Back in the Gundam wing universe, the Neo-OZ soldiers are awaiting the return of their
comrades, only to receive a horrible surprise as the foot invasion began. As the Foot soldiers
battled the Neo-OZ Soldiers one of them decided to take a shot at the Shredder, then watched in
horror as the bullets bounced right off the shiny steel armor. Shredder wasted no time in
slashing that mans throat with his gauntlet claws.
When the battle ended the Neo-OZ laboratory had been commandeered, and the war between
Neo-OZ and the Foot had begun!
