She sat at her desk typing away furiously on her keyboard- eyes glued with an unholy force to the screen of her computer which she had named ?Lucifer?. A small sticker at the top of the screen invited whomever happened to care that Lucifer indeed was its name; it was written in bright red ink and underlined three times. Thusly, the onlooker would now know that the sweet gentle person who owned the computer had a temper that flared like every normal human.
As previously stated, she was typing at her desk, which wasn?t an unusual thing for her to do. There was always some speech, always some meeting, and, being a phenomenal speaker, she was obligated to say what politicians called a ?few words?. Which, in itself was a lie. Politicians never said just a few words. They were like preachers. As a secret rule about which only a handful knew, any man or woman who has the ability to move people with the power of speech is noted to talk a very large amount. Relena Darlain was no exception to this rule.
So her secretary did not find it strange that her employer was at her computer when she came in at 2:30 in the afternoon. Nor was she surprised to see her at her computer at 5:00. Some speeches were very, very, long. At quitting time, her secretary went into the office one last time in order to tell her employer she was leaving. When she noted Relena still on her computer, she decided to say something.
?Miss Darlain, I know it isn?t any of my business, but you need to take a vacation. You work too hard, if you don?t mind my saying so, ma?am.?
?My dear Margaret, thank you for your concern. Unfortunately, there is no replacement for me at the moment, so I will have to stay with my occupation until someone tells me I have no other choice but to stop. A gun at my temple should do the job nicely.? She said with sarcasm leaping onto the older woman with a force that would have killed a baby deer.
Margaret blushed, said her apologies, and left for home. Relena smiled at the closed door for a moment, before the familiar sound of typing flooded the room once more. Her smile increased as she let Margaret?s words filter through her churning mind. Chuckling to herself, she thought aloud, as it gave her the impression that she wasn?t so alone.
?I take breaks, thank you. I take many a vacation.?
And it was true. Her vacations rested her mind and body, and she rested well within where she was. Her vacations were in her mind. They worked magic in her thoughts, and fell out in words upon her computer screen, her fingers unable to keep up with the steady stream of stories that swam in her head.
No one knew Relena was a writer.
This is how she got away from it all. This was how she dealt with life?s little annoying people that screamed at her all day long, ?Miss Vice Foreign Minister, I need help with this,? or ?Relena, Duo got into your chocolate cake,? or, what she considered to be the worst sentence ever, ?Heero?s back in town?. She dealt with all these events in stories that no one would ever see. She had saved them to Lucifer and hidden them under lock and key, and no one would ever see them. Not even after she died. Ever.
She felt lonely a lot. This is what she would write about most often. She wrote of princesses in fairy tale towers, and the strong hero would save the girl, and make love to her, omitting no details, of course, all night long. As the years went by, she became bolder with how she named her characters?Namely herself and her lover?who was casually never named. She was still timid. On this particular day, she felt very sensual, as she was told by Duo that Heero was back in town, and planned on seeing her that weekend. She let her fantasies flow through her fingers onto her screen:
He slid his hand over her creamy white thigh, eliciting moans from her that resembled that of an animal too long caged. This was her chance to be free, and he was making sure she?d love her new home. She stared at him lustfully as he continued to trail his fingers up her thigh to rest on the hem of her dainty politician?s garments.
Delete, delete, delete.
?rest at the base of her skin-tight biker leather. She moaned his name, which only added to her torture, as he was playing a horrid game with her. He was going way too slowly. She needed his sustenance. She needed him. She wanted to be free. He felt his way up to her bare chest, and began kissing her slowly, passionately, and she gasped in shock at the wonderful sensations he gave her. Moaning at the slothlitic way he moved, she turned him over, letting him know that it was her turn to play, freedom or not. She was an animal, and she would show him just how wild she could be?
She blinked one or twice, letting her eyes adjust to the screen. She tried typing once, twice, three times, before deleting what she had. This couldn?t be! How in the world could this happen to her? She had no idea what she wanted in the next sentence. She tried once more?to no avail. She finally gave up and wrote was she was feeling.
Blah, blah, blah?.Writer?s block sucks?.
Screeching, she hit the computer with the palm of her hand, and gasped when she felt the all-too-familiar ?you?re going to get a bruise? pain.
?Ow!!!!!!!!! Stupid stupid!? she scolded herself. She started to save her story when she noticed what was on the screen.
YOUR E-MAIL HAS BEEN SENT
?What e-mail?? she wondered aloud. She saved the document, and went to her e-mail inbox, switching it from RECEIVED to SENT. What she saw made her blood freeze.
She had sent her story to Duo.
?Oh my word,? she glared at her computer. ?Lucifer!!!!!!! You idiot!!!!!! How did you do that?? she paled.
She had put her name on it, signing it with a flourish. ?Written by Relena Yuy?
She was still Relena Darlain, and seeing as how Heero was staying with Duo while he was in town, she would remain that way. Of course Duo would tell Heero...which would freak him out beyond all reason. But he wasn't that stupid...there was no way he'd show Heero.
?Stupid, stupid computer! Lucifer, I will beat the living crap out of you, you satanic piece of junk!!!!!!??I am so dead?? she paced around the room, pondering what she should do for a brief amount of time, which seemed like hours to her, before she heard a ?You?ve got mail? on Lucifer. A trembling hand fumbled its way to her mouse, and clicked on the message.

?Holy s--*insert screeching tire sounds here*? she screamed, and quickly opened the e-mail.
Wow, Lena. You sure are talented. What a way, too, to let Heero know you love him. It?s really sweet. I?m e-mailing to his laptop as we speak. He?s asleep upstairs, so I doubt he?ll get it for awhile, but he?ll read it as soon as he wakes up, I?m sure. He always does things RIGHT NOW. So impatient, that one. Well, I?ll see you tomorrow for our picnic? One again, GREAT story?Too bad you didn?t finish it?I know some great ways you could fix writer?s block. I?ll tell you tomorrow. Sweet dreams! ^_~
~Duo
She fainted.
Disclaimer: I just don?t own any of these characters. I got out of my funk, you all, and I hope to be up and running with the rest of my fics soon. This will be a lemon, and my first one, at that?so don?t be too harsh?Just mild harshness will do. ^_^
